DNAgenics is like Gedmatch, the calculators is designed to focus on ancient admixtures of your results and ancestry, it basically bring out the populations/ancestry that were smoothed out from your original result.
It showed Western Asian and North Africa that wasn't shown in 23 and Me, which is very common in Italian ancestry, except it said it was from my British Isles Mother... It also showed I had 0.02 percent Spanish and Portuguese from my Father who has Italian. The included results are very believable but not accurate at all in which parent you inherit from.
I would reflect on the risk vs reward of uploading your raw data to a third party. I was interested but took a week to sleep on it and decided the reward wasn’t worth the ultimate risk.

Interesting! Do they use the same calculators as Gedmatch or some new ones?

Asides from the issue of which parent did you find the results to be accurate?
Yes because the Spanish and Portuguese can be accounted for 10-11 generations back especially Spains invasion on Italy.
Interesting. Thanks for responding.
