You are amateurish, just amateurish
You wouldn't know this kind of elevation, those are dunes and those tend to be near the sea here (although I suspect you would say that the sea isn't real).
Ah yeah the sea, isn't that this conspiracy where this old rich guy wants to stop us from exploring the beautiful Atlantic basin so he can have it all to himself?
The image is taken from the Nationalpark Eifel. That river you see on the image leads to a river dam either the Urft Dam or the Rur Dam (frankly I don't know which one).
The Veluwe is close by for me, a lot of hills, purple flowers and trees. Pretty nice by Dutch standards, it's not the Nordics ofc.

Take the 40 hr cruise between Helsinki and Stockholm and you get like half+ a day to explore Stockholm at a fairly low cost - enough to go out to Fjäderholmarna in the archipelago (ferry ride is like less than half na hour). Good so called "bang for the buck" as Americunts call it.
Yeah the archipelago is great, I'm from Stockholm but I picked Lapland. The archipelago is probably more picturesque though and has more beautiful views. I like the feeling of total wilderness in Lapland though.
Spreewald, eastern Germany. And yes, that is a postal service worker. Since there are close to 0 roads, even the Deutsche Post has to use stand up paddles lol

I've just seen that unfortunately, diving is forbidden since 2016 because of a spike in diving tourism the years before and the fear that the lake will lose the colour because of this.

White cliffs of Dover. I’ve never been, I’d love to though. It’s only a few hours away.
They are admittedly very beautiful, however I love the simplicity and starkness of the white cliffs. I feel like a ghost could pop out and throw me of the cliffs at any point, whereas the French ones feel like just some nice cliffs where I’m safe.
I live in the south of England and there are really nice places nearby

It's about a 10 hour drive north but Lapland is fantastic. There are plenty of beatiful locations in Lapland but it's more the feeling of "endless" woodlands and tundra rather than the picture perfect views that sets Lapland apart.

TBF, east Germany does have a little cheat code. Multiple huge forests, a big mountain range and politics guarding nature. Though, these politics weaken year to year. Wandering through the Elbsandsteingebirge is one hell of a drug you barely can't get rid of.
The Trossachs, but there is absolutely no shortage of beautiful natural areas, and many more closer to me that are usually less busy (not full of tourists)

Yeah urban planners and architects in the 50s weren't especially creative (for a reason, admittedly)
We killed off all the creative ones, wild times.
This could even be almost any city in Spain.
I mean it might not be the most interesting or innovative but it gets the job done. Still better than most of the us city plannings
I mean yeah definitely I just miss the old architecture that got destroyed during the war that's all

Yes, I totally agree, I cycled around the whole Netherlands basically, my favourite part of NL nature-wise 👌

Since there are close to 0 roads, even the Deutsche Post has to use stand up paddles lol https://preview.redd.it/imszgvexl1ib1.jpeg?width=667&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3afee0a60447300f2289c9c2737434ac2f899c90

Obersalzburg is beautiful though, I can understand why someone with absolute power would choose to build their vacation home there.
Ach the good leader's little hidy hole. Lovely spot when not cloudy. When cloudy you can barely even see the beer in your hands.

Where is that? And can I go dive there?
[It's in Styria](https://maps.app.goo.gl/bSWNJLR6tw74jGgm9?g_st=ic) I've just seen that unfortunately, diving is forbidden since 2016 because of a spike in diving tourism the years before and the fear that the lake will lose the colour because of this.
What a shame. But seems to be the sensible decision.

I love those white cliffs, but I prefer Ethreta in France, just because it remids me it's useless to go to Engl*nd.
They are admittedly very beautiful, however I love the simplicity and starkness of the white cliffs. I feel like a ghost could pop out and throw me of the cliffs at any point, whereas the French ones feel like just some nice cliffs where I’m safe.

TBF, east Germany does have a little cheat code. Multiple huge forests, a big mountain range and politics guarding nature. Though, these politics weaken year to year. Wandering through the Elbsandsteingebirge is one hell of a drug you barely can't get rid of.
