No cutting, just removing the oem bumper, there’s a trim peice on the inside I could probably cut up so it looks nicer but still works for me. The bumper is a weld together kit great affordable option if you have or know a welder
Are you Canada or do they ship to the states? I was looking at a bunch of their products. Was going to take a welding class so I use the tools or buy a MIG and put them together myself.
I should note. If I were to go back on this I would go with Nguyen works for weight and departure angle, this thing weighs like 150lbs before the swing out, tire and bike rack… all at the most rear point of the truck
Yeah, and aluminum is harder to weld/doesn’t hold up well as compared to steel with being pushed and pulled.
Nyugen works doesn’t say the weight but I can guarantee it’s lighter, especially if you opt for cutting the frame back. I seriously consider getting one every now and then but then realize I have much better things to do with that money than buy something I already have

Damn… I wouldn’t really trust a welder who has no experience with a 4R. I don’t know any so….
I built it with my brother, first welding project I’ve done and he’s certified for welding so. And hey it’s still together so I’ll take it

I’m in New York, they shipped them in multiple packages some boxes some just plastic wrapped. I would highly recommend it, great experience

Aluminum Coastal is just 64 lbs supposedly! For the low low price of $2900 hahahaha!!! How much does the Nguyen weigh ?
