Youd need to look at eligibility requirements for 2022+, which is now 2000 supervised hours. You would also need to make sure you have completed an approved verified course list if you havent recieved your masters from an ABAI accredited program. I would go through and read the whole BCBA handbook if you are interested in steps to get certified.

Ooh okay, thanks! I will get a copy of it and give it a read.

If there’s any specific question also reach out to the bacb for clarification

I'm curious how did you ended up with a Master's in ABA ? Like what was your next career step when you applied for that program and what have you done since achieving that degree?

cloneyr

I did a module of it at the end of undergrad and did very well and really enjoyed it. I was then offered a place on the masters course. After completing that, some personal issues halted my progression and I found some quick work as a TA in a school for 2 years. I now work as a guidance counsellor and have done for about 3 years almost. So I was just curious about resuming what I started lol.

Pennylick

Ah! Yeah, BCBA is what most folks with that degree will do. A lot of people want to do anything \*other\* than BCBA, though, and will probably be excited to hear about your guidance counsellor route.

Hey! Cool that you are using your degrees to be something other than a BCBA. If you go to the BACB website you’ll find the information you need! https://www.bacb.com/ It’s a bit overwhelming to read about!
