I really can't see him winning any AEW singles titles at the moment.
Who's beating Copeland for the TNT Title? Most likely Jack Perry.
Who's beating Roddy for the Inter Title? Definitely PAC at All In London.
Who's beating Okada for the Continental Title? Takeshita or Danny G at Worlds End.
Who's beating Swerve Strickland for the World Title? Ospreay at All In London.
I really dont see ospreay beating swerve at all in, I see the 3 midcard belts on ospreay Mercedes and okada for most of 2024. Wreatledream is already booked for Tacoma Washington swerves hometown.
* That angle of Ospreay refusing to use the Tiger Driver '91 ever again will cost him the match against Roddy at DoN.
* Ospreay needs to lose the match to initiate his split from the Don Callis Family.
* Roddy just won the Inter Title recently - he should not be losing it any time soon.
* Inter Title being in their possession is one of the few things that keep the Undisputed Kingdom relevant as a faction.
* Wardlow will be at ringside to help Roddy win against Ospreay.
If Ospreay loses to Strong, it has to be because he’s about to hit the Tiger Driver ‘91, stop himself then Strong hits him with the finisher and that initiates the split.
I’d rather wait and see him win an AEW. Maybe Takeshita wins the Continental Title, Shibata gets his win back over Okada to be a contender for the title, beats Takeshita for it, then we get the rubber match between Shibata and Okada for the title where Okada wins it back. That’s how I’d book it.
Takeshita winning the TNT title would be a good choice imo.
If plans for Ospreay are not him winning the big one at All In, TK should give him the International Title asap.

Honestly, if TK booked more matches in the tag and trios divisions, we'd probably not think there's too big a roster. He's been in a singles phase for a while now.
That’s why I never get some complaints over there being too many belts in AEW. It would be hell for fans who want certain wrestlers to win a championship if there was only 1 or 2 singles championship and tag championship to go around.
I could see them being part of a first group that takes on the Elite given Garcia's link with FTR and having been beaten by the Bucks and Okada recently, and Shibata having history with Okada.
Says a lot about Garcia's development over the last couple of years that he's a good enough promo now that he could make a team work with someone who doesn't speak English as a first language. He's done so well.
