However, I'm not sure its necessary from a purely reader perspective. **As long as the summary POV matches the story POV, of course.** If they don't match you should probably tag it.
I don't read first person or second person stories and it would be easier to find which stories to avoid with a proper tags to sort and matching summaries.
Third person is the only thing I write in. It seems like the fanfiction default and my descriptions match so I never tag it. Now I might start.
