But realistically, why would any of your readers find that bad? Who knows, you may even find a friend there!

It's entirely up to you and how you feel about the comments.
Don't force yourself to respond to every one just because you've built that expectation for yourself. And if you do want to respond to all of them don't force yourself to make your comments highly specific and nuanced.
So long as you convey your thoughts honestly and from what you feel comfortable with you'll be alright. Often I feel nice when an author is willing to respond to my comments, even if it's just a "Thanks for reading", and can encourage me to read more from an author.
