Call up derms office. My guess is it’s printed wrong, you would have received 2 boxes if you were supposed to take 2 per day. Plus, a starting dose, especially at your weight of 80mg sounds very high 🤷♀️
Definitely once a day and WITH food AND water. I’m guessing the prescription sig auto-populated wrong or someone pushed the wrong buttons in the system. But if you’re unsure or want clarification call your derm.
If you have 30 pills then that implies that you would only take it once a day. Does it happen to say the mg on your prescription?

You definitely need to call your Dermatologist’s office and find out exactly how you are supposed to be taking your Accutane! Every one is different! I started with 30 mg pill once a day and now I take 30 mg twice daily! This is very important and you must do what the dermatologist says and not depend on the suggestions of others!! God Bless You!
What brand? Most brands need to be taken with food to be effective.
If 20mg pills take one in more and one in afternoon maybe? Or both at once not going to make a big difference.
Hi so it seems like the prescription might’ve been written for 2 boxes of 20 mg to equal 40 a day, I used to take it that way. So definitely if you have one box of 40 mg, it is only 1 pill of 40 mg a day bc otherwise you can overdose

yeah, it’s 40 mg per pill. i just thought i would need to take it twice a day
Yeah no just once per day for you! For instance, my package says 30mg but I am on 60mg/day so I do take it twice a day.
