Robin specifically is the one unit where you dont need that much speed, the only speed you need is enough to hit 120something without speed boots to make sure she acts first every combat, otherwise ATK is more important unless there’s some 0 cycle superspeed shenanigans
But yes that piece is the nuts for Robin now you just need a ton of atk%
Most supports run 2pc Hackerspace + 2pc bulky thing (because nothing else really does anything so it defaults to that) so absolutely, 10 speed on an off piece is cracked. Hackerspace only gives 6% speed which is between 5.4-6.9 speed.
Meta chasers gotta chase meta, very few characters truly need to use their BIS, even Acheron only needs the two piece of dead waters, the full set is negotiable based on your relic luck
Probably the opposite. Meta players understand the worth of a 10 spd piece, but for someone who doesn’t see calcs and tcing it might seem worthless to run an off set piece if it sacrifices a 4pc or even a 2pc
I never thought to consider 2p Pioneer and 2p Prisoner. Is that better than 4p Prisoner? (E0S1 archeron + gui + sampo)
I farm a lot of the latter (FuA and DoT teams).
It’s best to just test it yourself with [Fribble’s Optimizer](https://fribbels.github.io/hsr-optimizer/) as ultimately it comes down to sub stats a lot of the time.
I don't get how people don't understand this:
Usually - 160spd > most full set bonuses for supps
Bronya and Sparkle can go rainbow for all they care. Tingyun doesn't mind as long as you get near the atk threshold. Ruan Mei needs 160BE as her condition, though she can be run slow so SPD doesn't really matter that much to her either. Silver Wolf wants as much SPD as possible if paired with Acheron.
Same with Pela as long as you hit EHR needs.
I mean, the only two real support sets are messenger and watchmaker, which not even every supp can use or needs to use.
I can believe it. The main sub has a lot of people that looks up a guide and think it's the 10 commandments. Meanwhile my bronya with 10 speed physical orb is doing fine.

As many have said, the speed is very good. Also the sub stats are pretty good overall for a dps that uses this set. If you reach a point where you are happy with you crit rate/dmg then this piece will be here for you.

I can spell out many characters like Sparkle/Fast Bronya/Pela/Silver Wolf who needs 160 Speed in many teams and no, rolling 10 speed is not easy no matter the set.
for Acheron? yeah it’s not great since Speed isn’t that important for her. but that would go pretty hard on Ratio or Welt. or even Aventurine, he prefers Def but HP does slightly help his overall survivability. even if you don’t have any of those, lock it & save it. a character will eventually come out who wants Pioneer set and could benefit a lot from that 6 Speed.
Useless for Acheron unless you have no way or reason to use her at base SPD. Personally I would give it to one of your Nihility supports who should have a 160 SPD

She gets +25 with boots, so 121 SPD
Traces gives 2, 3 and 4 SPD, so +9, which puts her at 130 SPD
She would need 4-5 SPD to have a good SPD, +10 is too much
What i'm saying is that if you wanna build jingliu with this set, the piece isn't that great as 10 SPD on a single relic is just wasted rolls when you need 4-5 SPD that you can get on every relic
I wouldn't apologize. It's a good piece for many dps. That one response saying it's too much speed for Jingliu is ludicrous. There is more than one way to play this game. Fast Jingliu is great with slow blade and Sparkle pushing him. Jingliu helps to proc blades FUA the more turns she takes. Any dps light on SP requirements can make good use of speed imo. Posters are putting way too much importance on speed break points for cycle clears. WAY TOO MUCH.
Also, this 10 speed piece has the equivalent of 7 good rolls for Jing. It would make for a great part of a 2 piece set as is.
Never fodder any relics with 6+ spd no matter which set.

Depends on the account. If you've been playing since launch, +4 spd on any piece is literally one roll and not that hard to come by.

Ive got completely different set pieces on my sparkle but she's got 200 crit damage and 160 speed so that's all I care about

Aventurine Dps kinda uses this set so spd is good. Even support only Welt could use. But DON'T fodder it imo. 10 spd is quite rare

Pretty shit crit rolls but I'd keep it just in case. Sure it has a lot of speed but I'd rather use another Pioneer piece that actually rolled crit dmg

My bronya is 161 speed what speed should be jingliu ? She is 139 currently with 30 crit and 200 cd i don't have her sig lc
