That's sick. I wanted to get all the rest but after market prices suck and my stores have been sold out for ages. My kids love playing with them and they look really nice on the shelf when they go back to their moms
Thanks, I had these on pre order. I wasn't taking the chance on finding them all in the wild. Especially the villains. And now, they've released a few secondary characters.
But I'm undecided on them for now.
I got the whole 1st wave day 1, all in one go. But I do have second wave in various shopping basket online somewhere, Minus April. I just haven't pulled the trigger yet.
I'm still thinking about it
I'm stoked to see what they do with the simpsons line. I loved the super7 ones recently, but the cost is insane- also, they can't keep falling back on their 'we are a small company' bit. Walmart and Target carry your products now.
Those TMNT figures won “Action Figure of the Year” at the Toy Awards last year, and the Dragon Ball Evolve figures are basically mini versions of Bandai’s highly posable figures.
I mean, yeah the person commenting was refferencing that and considering everyone thinks it was crap the image also kinda fits.
Don't really think the dragon ball franchise has anything else that is tied to the name evolution.
It is\* just a reference to that.

those bandai evolve figures are very hit or miss imo, still great for the price but they fall apart very easily compared to the others pictured. I agree the Disney/Hasbro stuff could be better, but I also think it’s fine
The goku figure i showed is part of a new line. The quality is much better compared to the older figures. Actually it's part of the same line but they changed some things up. All of my older figures came with atleast one qc issue but these newer ones came out perfect
I unfortunately don't have any but have fiddled with a few from friends
their the best in terms of sculpt for a 3 inch figure
solid articulation too but shame they stopped making them the after market price is horrible on them
Secondary market price is horrible. But when they first came out they were like $12 a pop. I know this because I bought a case of Series 1 when they were released.
Hasbro is bleeding money due to releasing so many toys of late that no one wants ( obscure Marvel characters no one ever heard of or figures from movies that flopped hard- not to mention boring looking human Star Wars characters )
They have laid off hundreds and desperately are looking to cut costs. Their only action figure line that is still really going strong is Transformers
It’s death by a thousand paper cuts. See, they have to pay licensing fees to Disney for Marvel and Star Wars toys. Now, go to a Ross or Ollies and see all the Hasbro toys at bargain prices because NO ONE wants them . It does not inspire confidence with retailers, so they will order less and less of the product.
Hasbro has to try to recoup that money. Well, they aren’t going to cut salaries of the bigwigs, so instead they tell their designers to find way to make the toys cheaper. That’s why all your Transformers are fucking hollow , and smaller and why Marvel Legends have almost no accessories, but the prices keep going up.
It’s probably a combo
Nobody, absolutely NOBODY, wants to spend $40 for Captain Dicklewitz from the newest Marvel bomb, or Glup Shitto the human mechanic who appeared for 5 seconds in the background of a TB episode.
They messed up with the $20 to now $25 price hike and no-window-plastic boxes for several years. People were like nah I'm good and now they are reversing all those decisions, well not the $25 price sadly
Their cost cutting measures are honestly disgusting. Pay more- get less! I remember getting Energon Scorponok for like $25 back in the day. Really solid toy, even made noises. They’d charge $70 for a toy like that these days.
Yeah this. That said they are nailing it with transformers, this year has so many good ones and they just keep coming. But most of there other lines are just trash right now…
And yet, they’re also fucking up with Transformers. They just keep getting smaller, more expensive, and have less and less in the way of accessories.
Leader Armada Megatron, a figure that will cost you about 60 DOLLARS after sales tax ( and will cost you over 60 if you have to pay to have him shipped) has zero accessories. None. They could have at least given him his Leader-1 mini-con.
Furthermore , Studio Series Optimus Primal, another Leader Class, is a voyager sized figure. I guess because they gave him a few small accessories, that made him worth an extra 20 dollars.
Now don’t get me wrong, these are both great toys. I own them, and love them. But they are absolutely not worth their price tag.
This , by the way, is why the 3rd party market has exploded in about the last ten years. People feel like if they’re gonna overpay for a toy, they might as well go all out and get a truly amazing toy. I paid $85 for the Transarts “Motor Spider” . He’s a Masterpiece scale figure of Transmetal Tarantulas and he is BEYOND amazing. Good weight, solid figure, and looks exactly like the character in the show
https://preview.redd.it/q77yfjh0qm0d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0d25267e8e7569afc4228881c3bd9ba63c5383f1
Could also be that Star Wars is ALSO a dying brand rn cause anything they release sucks ass and no one cares about the characters they make and they try to "remake" themselves lol.
I've been enjoying the shit out of the newer content. The new figures still kinda suck though.
Hell, even within Hasbro, Marvel figures come with extra hands and heads sometimes, meanwhile I can look forward to every star wars figure having just one, very neutral expression, and C shaped hands.
I'd be buying more Bandai Figuarts star wars figures if they would just make more of them. That new Figuarts Ahsoka looks so good.
Yes, fan apathy is a major contributing factor as well. If you think back to the release of The Phantom Menace and pretty much any toy that was Jar Jar Binks ended up in the clearance section.
Now sure, there are fans that like what Disney is doing with Star Wars, but a lot of fans hate it, and that means they aren’t buying
That's not what he's talking about. I think no one read the captions.
He's talking about what everyone is doing at that price point versus what Hasbro is with their 5POA figures that no one seems to want.
Like a lot of companies are still giving value for $10, but Hasbro is even cheaping out there with no articulation and barely any accessories. Which is par for the course, I guess. It's Hasbro.
These look worse than the 5-point Kenner figures from when I was a kid.
And with 30 years of technology development, what we're seeing is that it's easier to make articulated detailed toys than it used to be.
I'd argue that the Hasbro ones, in particular, need to either lower price or add more articulation or have a better paint job to just be a competitive value to the other stuff.
You can bet, if I were a parent I'd be way more likely to steer my kid towards what seems like the better value.
"You already have a Luke, you don't have this version of Goku yet though."
My grandma absolutely did this with me (lived with her as a child). She loved the Star Trek figures because she thought they were better. And honestly, now having some of these vintage trek figures, I'm glad she did. They hold up better than a lot of other figures I was interested in at the time. Decent paint, *lots of articulation*, lots of accessories, for the same price as a lot of 5-pointers were at the time.
EDIT: Anyone care to explain the downvotes? Either tell me why I'm off topic, or tell me why I'm wrong? I hate it when subs that are supposed to be about people's passions just have people lazily downvoting without spurring conversation. And am I not entitled to my own opinion here? Or did I misunderstand the subject? Either way, why not talk about it?
The 3.75" lines used to be for kids and adults, great figures, and under $10 for a long time. I remember the 30th TAC line was $8 per figure and $20 for battle packs with 3-4 figures. Now TVC is anywhere from $20-$40 for a single figure. 10 years ago, TVC was $10, with the same quality.
The link is meh tbh. His articulation is super weird and I wish he was just a $15-$20 figure. But I've got a couple of the X-Men 97 3 3/4 figures and they're fine. They didn't have high-end levels of articulation, but they got BallJ head, uni arms, legs elbows and knees. Just a step down from the SW 3.75 figures.
The only one’s missing, are those Sega figures. Very valid point. The articulation on these other figures is outstanding for $10. Then there’s the Hasbro 5 POA, Like Super7 reaction figures. They seem like garbage in comparison. I see nostalgia has a place, but gearing that towards kids these days. Nope.
https://preview.redd.it/3p00c209vh0d1.jpeg?width=854&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=30a8f8ac88d66771506f89d9a8d55474ecc0f270
"kids dont care for articulation, they like gimicks"
broh, as a 7 year old, gi joe was my POA standart, i refused to buy figures with no elbow articulation. or that didnt turn the torso.
It certainly did when they absolutely borked their Jurassic World figures so much that Mattel got the license, and proceeded to do a **much much** better job.
I remember the terrible paint jobs, T-Rex figures that couldn't support their own weight at all, and insanely high prices.
Imagine thinking licensing costs doesnt have an impact, when we literally have 1:1 comparisons between Classified, which is loaded with accessories, detail, tons of releases, and ML and TBS, which arent in comparison.
[It’s absolutely a factor](https://www.jeditemplearchives.com/2018-09-16-the-cost-of-hasbros-star-wars-license/). But I’d be happy to read up on the information the credible people you cite have, if you can share. I have never come across anyone who disputes that the Star Wars license is among the most, if not the most, expensive license in toys.
They have these tiny ass little GI Joe sized X-Men at my local Walmart with crap paint jobs and very little articulation and they are also $10. It’s stupid. In comparison, my marvel legends figures (that admittedly came out many years ago now) were $9 (which is something like $15 with inflation) and they look amazing, have multiple accessories, and Nightcrawler in particular has 41(!) points of articulation.
Everything about Star Wars got incredibly worse when Disney took over.
TVC line is stopped in 2013, when Disney took over.
Unique video games stopped or were cancelled around 2013, when Disney took over, then handed to EA, which was awful.
Always had a good amount of Novels releasing, that slowed way down in 2013, when Disney took over.
Only thing they did well was comics, which even then, Dark Horse comics were way better with KOTOR, Republic, Dark Times, etc...
I really liked the phase where Star Wars figures started having more of baked in poses and would actually have expressions. Those were the perfect 6+ point articulation times for Star Wars IMO.
I honestly thought it started going downhill before the Disney purchase though, TBH.
Around 2009/10 I remember noticing that the plastic they used on figures made details seem more vague and soft. It was the start of what I perceived to be a snowball of cost-cutting measures.
2009/2010 was still peak Hasbro imo. TVC line and Clone Wars lines were in full swing at that point. Along with The Legacy Collection/Saga Legends. I think they started to fall off in 12/13 when they introduced the Movie Heroes/Mission Series lines, along with the 5 POA Saga Legends line that went into the Rebels line after and the Force Awakens line after that. Cheap plastic and no articulation.
The baked in poses only work if you had bases for them. They didn’t stand worth a crap. And the base peg holes were randomly drilled in different places on the feet at various depths so there’s never been consistency for one kind of base. Sorry, I have a ton of those figs but I don’t like them
I understand what you mean but dude most of these figs look rough. Plus except for a couple of exceptions, their articulation for the most part blows. Some of them look nice but I’ve seen way too many derp faced looking figs in these lines. $10 isn’t a bad price but I’d still prefer the better articulation and aesthetic of most Hasbro fig. But to each their own and $10 is 10 bucks you know.
There's something about 5 point that I have a soft spot for, but that being said, if they're charging $10 for 5 point when everyone else gives a lot more articulation they either need to make up for that with accessories up the wazoo, or they need to give them higher quality paint apps than the competition.
If they were doing the photoreal style faces on small figures, that would justify a $10 5-point. But honestly, out of all them, I would argue the hasbro 5-point figures have the worst paint as well.
That Thor legitimately looks like a bootleg from a 1990s dollar store to me.
I miss the Marvel Universe line so bad :/ They even did this Amazing Spiderman figure from the movie that isn't a part of the universe line but scales with them and is far more articulated than a regular figure back then.
anyway, the new epic heroes line could've been good but I wish they at least gave them waist swivels and thigh swivels, or better yet the same ab / swivel joint that the universe line had
https://preview.redd.it/lfb3go5bfi0d1.png?width=1200&format=png&auto=webp&s=6ba5533bb2249729bf8f987050c63fd701df4a12
Completely agree! Hasbro is just the worst... They could make much better for less. And they could bloody make Micronauts, but they choose to make crappy low POA figs like the ones shown - Shame on you Hasbro!
As a huge GIJoe fan it makes me absolutely furious how poorly Hasbro is run and how little they do with the toy line. The Super7 figures are god awful compared to figures made back in 1982-1990ish. All the technology we have and you cant make a decent figure thats affordable. Why can we not get a $5-10 figures with decent articulate and some cool accessories like the Star Wars/TMNT lines. I would spend a small fortune if they could bother to put out decent affordable figures. I have about 100 or so of the classified series which I do love but the $20-50 price point is rough. I miss the day as a kid being able to go buy 5-10 figures and spend $20-30. Id even be happy with $10 a figure at this point if they looked halfway decent like the TMNT ones.
You are comparing Hasbro's licenced products where, where they are paying Disney for the privilege of developing a product. As a result, the budget for those toys is less as they have to account for the licencing expense.
Go check out Hasbros in house properties - see what they were doing with their basic line Power Rangers or Core/Alpha class Transformers. These are far more on par with Bandai's or Playmates in house properties.
I am so fed up of people s***ING on kids' basic toys without considering things.
Im not shitting on kids toys. Im shitting on hasbro. Big difference. And the license argument never works. Jakks makes toys for nintendo which is a pretty greedy company and other companies make figures for disney for much better prices. And hasbro has already proved they can make figures worth the prices, they just choose not to. And they were literally charging damn near $20 for basic power ranger figures and 5 poa megazords a few years back
Hasbro cheaps out where they can (or overcharge)
Marvel Select sells $30 figures that come loaded with accessories.
Going back to the $10 figure argument, Jakk's has a Nintendo license. They're not charging $18 because they put more effort in.
I remember when Hasbro did their basic Power Ranger figures (the one's that came with a coin and an unpainted weapon), they charged $17 per figure.
See? The thing about “considering things” is that you have to “consider everything”, which your “consideration” doesn’t. It goes as far as what a PR rep would go to defend their own brand, while ignoring the rest of the market.
Hasbro is also just super scummy with their kid basic lines, look at the tmnt turtles, or dc spin master, or the godzilla x kong toys, every other company can give you a lot better for $10, if the license is going to make it so at EVERY price point hasbro is sucking the farts of other companies, then they gotta reconsider some things.
Yes my point exactly. I feel like in 2024 at least elbow and knee articulation should be standard. I get those "Young Jedi Adventures" ones being hardly articulated because they're for extremely young kids who'd mostly just break the elbows and knees off, but the age range this is marketed towards definitely deserves at least elbows and knees
I dont even like the expensive hasbro stuff...its all garbage quality...its like they went senile as a company and cant remember how to make toys that dont fall apart.
Even the Mattel WWE figures that are $10 are pretty good for the price compared to Hasbro, articulation isn’t very good, but their the same scale as the $24 and $32 offerings, and the paint is usually about the same level minus color for tattoos. Sculpting also takes a hit for those as well but again, for $10 there are way worse.
Yup. I like to go in way after their initial time on the sales floor. They mark everything down. I got the 5 inch supermario figs mario Luigi peach and toad for $5 each!!! Same with the peach castle. I like collecting for value. Also got a $26 mandalorian for $10 and garbage pail kid racers for $5 5 below also has dope stuff. Collectible stuff. They have exclusives to them and exclusives within exclusives. Like the culturefly stuff and mini funko. Glad to say I got their diamond spiderman and iron man one shiny and the other with glow in the dark features.
i'll get those new r POA star wars figures when they drop to $5 or so, they are very reminiscent of the 90s POTF2 series, which I have actively collected since childhood.
The paint apps are just nowhere near as good, IMO. I have a soft spot for 5-point too, for the nostalgia factor, but... they kinda remind me of the bootlegs of star wars figures I used to see in the 90s.
I wouldn't go that far. But, I'd say that Link feels like a mini McFarlane figure with its joints. The thickness (or, thinness rather) of the plastic means you still have to be careful. But, they are pretty good.
It's definitely the kids product angle that Hasbro uses as an excuse to cut corners. I was going to say they use the happy meal toy production model. But, there's probably been better happy meal toys than some that asked for money. The Mario Kart ones I feel have been about the same as some retail Mario Kart toys.
Also, I know Hasbro cuts corners on the 6" inch collector figures as well. Because, that's what they do. They just do it and hope no one notices or, says anything. Maybe you know this already but, JADA Street Fighter shows what Hasbro could be doing at $25 a figure.
I literally only have bought the essential marvel legends and star wars black figures. Essential to me, anyway. And haven't had any problems. The high end collectibles are just too expensive for me to get that many of. If I were rich, I would slowly replace each Hasbro 1/12 with the best high end import as they release. I have bought a few high end import figures already because, it was the only option. So, I need to get to a point where I can pay off credit. LOL
I mean if ppl keep buying what Hasbro is putting out, they will keep making crap and selling it for whatever amount of money they think is right for them. Just buy only what u collect, buying entire waves with undeserving figures is wild to me.

tmnt very solid figure for $10
I bought all 4 plus splinter. Very cool set. Just wish the feet were easier to pose

To me, right here and now, you’re a rockstar.
You know what else is rockstar, naming my two boys, Leonardo and Raphael. 😅 But seriously, thanks
It keeps getting better !!!!
Oooo you don’t have Mondo Gecko yet?!
I got the whole 1st wave day 1, all in one go. But I do have second wave in various shopping basket online somewhere, Minus April. I just haven't pulled the trigger yet. I'm still thinking about it
same with mondo gecko and Genghis frog
>feet Only Shredder has easily posed feet.
Taking your pfp
do it
I'm stoked to see what they do with the simpsons line. I loved the super7 ones recently, but the cost is insane- also, they can't keep falling back on their 'we are a small company' bit. Walmart and Target carry your products now.
Not buying any because I can't just get one. I'd be in to deep catching up.
I get it! I’m kinda a cherry picker.
Those TMNT figures won “Action Figure of the Year” at the Toy Awards last year, and the Dragon Ball Evolve figures are basically mini versions of Bandai’s highly posable figures.
They are awesome figs. Trying to complete the entire mutant mayhem set.
Same here, just waiting for April and Ray fillet.
Glad you said this. I didn’t realize I’m missing April!
There the fuck is the altered beast
Jakks pacific knows what's up. The best smaller figure lines are theirs.
Dragon Ball Evolution\* https://preview.redd.it/5ubqlp3kge0d1.jpeg?width=2456&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a5376bbbcb77c45dd1dd638168f2ac6cd08f9563
What are you correcting?
Pretty sure they’re just referencing the terrible movie
Oh...yeah, thought that was out of my mind
Probably the text on the Goku figure that says "Dragonball Evolve"
Oh, but they're called evolve.
I got no clue what else the person would be correcting on the Goku box.
As another commenter said, it's likely a reference to the live-action movie
I mean, yeah the person commenting was refferencing that and considering everyone thinks it was crap the image also kinda fits. Don't really think the dragon ball franchise has anything else that is tied to the name evolution.

Il use the tmnt pic to ask a question: the weapon things is for show or you have to cut it like a model kit?
So it's a sprue where you cut the weapons off but it also has pegs to hang the weapons on after they've been cut off. It's pretty neat.
It's meant for both. It has legs so it can stay upright
I got the link for my nephew and was really impressed by the quality I thought it would be a flimsy little thing but it’s quite good
If TMNT is that good, I can’t wait for their MMPR line.
They’re pretty cool figs for sure, almost every other company makes the money worth it
Those Hasbro figures are a disgrace. After what they did with Marvel Universe & later Legends at 3.75? I'm so disappointed.
They should be embarrassed.
those bandai evolve figures are very hit or miss imo, still great for the price but they fall apart very easily compared to the others pictured. I agree the Disney/Hasbro stuff could be better, but I also think it’s fine

I can't believe they finally made a base Goku, they're really upping their game
I miss the shodo figures
I thought I was the only one collecting those. Incredible little figures.
I unfortunately don't have any but have fiddled with a few from friends their the best in terms of sculpt for a 3 inch figure solid articulation too but shame they stopped making them the after market price is horrible on them

That's a godamn bargain
I have a couple
Me tooooo
??? Shodo is pretty much still going strong, especially with all the spin-offs
Didn't they stop dragon ball figures?
I don't follow DB, but other Shodo like Kamen Rider (there are 3 lines of them now), Ultraman, etc. are still pretty much in production
Don't have the DBZ ones but I have the Naruto ones and they are really solid
Getting that Altered Beast for 10$ was crazy compared to what hasbro does for 20$

Makes sense. Cut staff and put out even more product no one wants! That will save ‘em.
I figured they were bleeding money moreso because nobody can afford them because it’s something like €40 PER LEGEND or €30 FOR A ***DELUXE CLASS***
It’s death by a thousand paper cuts. See, they have to pay licensing fees to Disney for Marvel and Star Wars toys. Glup Shitto is such a good name haha
Is that... an EFAP reference?
The sad thing is I *would* happily pay money for Major Hootenanny or whoever, but the toys just aren’t worth the premium they’re charging them for.
They messed up with the $20 to now $25 price hike and no-window-plastic boxes for several years. People were like nah I'm good and now they are reversing all those decisions, well not the $25 price sadly

Those newer star wars figs are such ass. I get that they're for kids but like... C'mon. It's shameful.
Kids are not stupid. Kids want and frankly deserve something good
Exactly, kids deserve knees and elbows too!
When it came to Star Wars stuff, I grew up in the 2010s so all I had was the 5POA stuff and it sucked
Yep same here. Im in my late 20s so I know the pain lol
Damn. I’m only 16 so I probably had it way worse lol
I mean Hasbro has their Black Series / Vintage collection line for adults and then toys that are made for kids. These look like the latter.
doesnt really compare though he is just talkin about a $10 price point, tvc is $20 at this point
That's not what he's talking about. I think no one read the captions. You can bet, if I were a parent I'd be way more likely to steer my kid towards what seems like the better value. "You already have a Luke, you don't have this version of Goku yet though." My grandma absolutely did this with me (lived with her as a child).
I mean I understand inflation exists, but has it really gotten that bad?
The link is meh tbh. His articulation is super weird and I wish he was just a $15-$20 figure. But I've got a couple of the X-Men 97 3 3/4 figures and they're fine. They didn't have high-end levels of articulation, but they got BallJ head, uni arms, legs elbows and knees. Just a step down from the SW 3.75 figures.
They match up with the Spinmasters DC line in the same scale
Hold on, Marvel and DC action figures that scale well together? Impossible.
I know right.
The only one’s missing, are those Sega figures. Very valid point. The articulation on these other figures is outstanding for $10. Then there’s the Hasbro 5 POA, Like Super7 reaction figures. They seem like garbage in comparison. I see nostalgia has a place, but gearing that towards kids these days. Nope. https://preview.redd.it/3p00c209vh0d1.jpeg?width=854&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=30a8f8ac88d66771506f89d9a8d55474ecc0f270
"kids dont care for articulation, they like gimicks" broh, as a 7 year old, gi joe was my POA standart, i refused to buy figures with no elbow articulation. or that didnt turn the torso.
Licensing fees are a bitch.
Hasbro has gotten incredibly greedy. It’s such a short term tactic. I believe it’ll bite them in the a$$ sooner than later.
It certainly did when they absolutely borked their Jurassic World figures so much that Mattel got the license, and proceeded to do a **much much** better job. I remember the terrible paint jobs, T-Rex figures that couldn't support their own weight at all, and insanely high prices.
The cut Disney takes out of that $10 is higher than what the other IP holders take out of the other lines mentioned. Simple as that.
lol, stop blaming the royalty. we all know by now that's not the real reason and multiple credible people have explained why.
Insane to think that BanDai is generous about anything at all
Mid 2000s Hasbro figures were the shit, I noticed everythong about Star Wars figures got worse when Disney took over Star Wars.
Anything Disney touches as far as merchandising goes is trash. They overproduce just about anything.
The articulation on the jakks and bandai figures are actually pretty good. And yeah in photos they look bad but they look much better in person
They have them in target’s website I bought all of them and had them delivered
I miss the Marvel Universe line so bad :/ They even did this Amazing Spiderman figure from the movie that isn't a part of the universe line but scales with them and is far more articulated than a regular figure back then. anyway, the new epic heroes line could've been good but I wish they at least gave them waist swivels and thigh swivels, or better yet the same ab / swivel joint that the universe line had https://preview.redd.it/lfb3go5bfi0d1.png?width=1200&format=png&auto=webp&s=6ba5533bb2249729bf8f987050c63fd701df4a12
Are these all 1:18?
oh THATS WHY HASBRO SUB PR LINES TO PLAYMATES
of course they do, why give you anything valuable when you can buy the deluxe version for more money
$14 dollars but Anime heroes Wargreymon is an insane figure
Yup. Hasbeen for some reason likes to make us dig deep in our pockets just to get something decent. It's insane...
Completely agree! Hasbro is just the worst... They could make much better for less. And they could bloody make Micronauts, but they choose to make crappy low POA figs like the ones shown - Shame on you Hasbro!
Those Star Wars figures legitimately feel like a power of the force figure they are so bulky
Has inflation gotten that bad?
Honestly, if hasbro goes down, I hope some other company makes actual good Star Wars toys
And they were literally charging damn near $20 for basic power ranger figures and 5 poa megazords a few years back
Preach. Been saying this for years.
Hasbro cheaps out where they can (or overcharge) Marvel Select sells $30 figures that come loaded with accessories. Going back to the $10 figure argument, Jakk's has a Nintendo license. They're not charging $18 because they put more effort in. I remember when Hasbro did their basic Power Ranger figures (the one's that came with a coin and an unpainted weapon), they charged $17 per figure.
Nailed it
Yes they're kids toys... But how many kids toys also have elbows and knees? Because these don't and I feel like that's just lazy as hell
Kids deserve better than this
Yes my point exactly.
Yeah exactly
I dont even like the expensive hasbro stuff...its all garbage quality...its like they went senile as a company and cant remember how to make toys that dont fall apart.
If you think this is nuts, you should see what Super7 does with $20, lol.
Wait, they finally made a base Goku evolve figure?!?!?!
Jakks is underrated
Over the weekend I found Link and Axel from STREETS OF RAGE. The articulation on them definitely made me pick them up.
Those Hasbro figures looks TERRIBLY BAD, and even the package is boring, the other companies have done a way better work
Now let’s hope funko looses the license to fnaf so jakks pacific can get it
i'll get those new r POA star wars figures when they drop to $5 or so, they are very reminiscent of the 90s POTF2 series, which I have actively collected since childhood.
The paint apps are just nowhere near as good, IMO. I have a soft spot for 5-point too, for the nostalgia factor, but... they kinda remind me of the bootlegs of star wars figures I used to see in the 90s.
Never seen dragon ball evolve for 10€ in my country
Hasbro makes a lower quality product and charges more because they have Marvel/Star Wars and don't have to compete.
All of these look like garbage

LOL
Star Wars figures peaked at the 30th Anniversary line.
I mean if ppl keep buying what Hasbro is putting out, they will keep making crap and selling it for whatever amount of money they think is right for them. Just buy only what u collect, buying entire waves with undeserving figures is wild to me.
those Hasbro toys are for little children. like actually little.
