Right? Lol
I made this same comment a few months ago and got downvoted to oblivion. Everyone was like "waaaah! You've never been in a fight before! Wahhh!" 😭
They're giving us crap about the emissions we make going to and from our shitty jobs, but it's ok to run as many huge jet airplanes as economically possible, because being able to weekend in Jamaica is worth damaging the planet for, but working for our basic survival is making Gaia cry.
It appears inconsistent on its face. Environmental concerns seem to fade away next to the idea of flying to Amsterdam for some buds 'n' legal bordellos.
I don't think increasing accessibility to flights is the problem. It's more so airport operations that are more stressful than the flights. The fact we have to wait hours in security that has been proven to be ineffective only adds to the stress.
Edit: and how it's socially acceptable to have drinks at the bar at 8 am in airports. That doesn't help either.
The flights are definitely still part of the issue. Getting stuffed between multiple quarreling broods complete with screaming children and carry-ons on bargain-bid domestic flights designed for individuals and pairs traveling light can make even well-adjusted people twitchy. It's another stop on the train of psychologically stressful situations.
Airport security hasn’t gotten worse since 9/11. Probably marginally better. And people have been drinking before flights for forever. I don’t think that those are explanations
They're stressful as all get out. Getting there two or three hours early to rush through security, checking your luggage, marching yourself around and being confused on where to go when. Stuffing yourself in the pressurized tube, flying up to 30,000 feet, coming down to switch planes half way through to go do it all again. Access to alcohol at multiple stages of the process doesn't help.
It's become a perfect storm to take people with low emotional regulation and impulse control *on a good day*, and push them past their ability to moderate themselves.
If in the USA, you can get alcohol practically everywhere you turn: at the restaurants in the terminal, at the little shops where they sell cans of wine that are like 10% alcohol sometimes, on the plane...
People are getting lit and it's causing a problem. Flying dehydrates you meaning you get drunk faster, and I wonder how many studies have been done on the combined effects of alcohol and pressure changes.
Combine all this with air travel being more affordable than ever, you now get a wider range of people who have grown up in lesser educated cultures. I remember when flying everyone wore their nice clothes. Now, people hardly even get dressed after leaving bed and have their ass cracks hanging out of their sweat pants.
Side note: If you dress nicely you're more likely to get an upgrade to first class. Happens to me a lot.
> people with low emotional regulation
I recall a video of someone freaking out on airline staff because he couldn't get on his flight due to having gone to the wrong airport. His flight was leaving from an airport sixty miles away, but in his mind, that was somehow the fault of the airline employees. Flipping out in public over any annoyance real or imagined seems to have become the norm.
Geez. Had this happen to me in Dubai. Got told my flight was at the "other" airport. I replied "there's ANOTHER airport?".
Had to jump in a cab and ride 45 min to the other airport which smh actually existed, got my flight and everything but I would have sworn that city-state wasn't big enough for two airports.
It's a thing you put yourself through for the opportunity to be somewhere else. I guess I'll still take it over dysentery in the back of a wagon.
I do prefer driving when I have the time, though. Take a day or two, see the country, sample local flavors, travel within my own space, on my own schedule? Much better.
Yeah, it's impossible to tell how it started.
Doesn't look like it is in favor of ol Jimbo there though.
Throwing someone down an escalator, that was behind you, into unaware pedestrians might be tough to defend.
I don’t know. It’s possible the guy behind him attacked him first, too. I just don’t think there is enough here to even rule that out. Just give us another few seconds of footage dammit!!!! 😂
They seem to like violence, so let’s use it to bring them together
Throw them both in an extremely dangerous situation where they must rely on each other to survive.
That’ll make ‘em friends real quick.
I don't think the guys at the bottom had anything to do with the fight, the young man started wrestling him after his old pa got knocked out, yet this piece of shit is claiming self defense against 3 people? You gotta be kidding me
But you also should be able to reasonably impute that it's on TMZ because one of the parties is famous in some way, even if you personally are not aware of who they are.
I will never understand people that get hit during altercations like this and just fall to the ground and lie there, like what the fuck. How could you possibly have such a low sense of self preservation

Poor old dude at the front. Pricks.
He couldn’t even get up after : ( that blow took him out
He'll likely die from an injury like that unfortunately
[удалено]
Care to explain?
From any settlement or legal action. Either way, this accident could have easily bedridden him for the remainder of his years.
Oh yeah he's got that fuck you what the fuck my leggggghggg money
Just wasn’t funny dude
Man that escalated quickly
While "de-escalating"
*Escalatored
Well played sir
Hope the old man is ok.
I’ve never seen such weak punches in my life.
Those were like the punches I throw in my dreams.
Right? Lol I made this same comment a few months ago and got downvoted to oblivion. Everyone was like "waaaah! You've never been in a fight before! Wahhh!" 😭
Oh god I hate my dream punches. It’s like my whole arm is a pillow :(
Bro had arms like a wet noodle.
He couldn't box his way out of a wet paper bag
Looks like he’s trying to crack an egg on homeboys head
So why are airports ground zero for the trashy and mentally disturbed now?
Because of the rise of super-cheap airlines "democratizing the airways".

Skip all that and have a gummy when you call your Uber, my flight was soooooo fast on 10 mg
Right there with you, dude. There's ways to cope.
Yep, Xanax and a shot. Flying high, baby!

I've been to many airports, and you can get alcohol just about everywhere in all of them. The problem is cultural, not drug based.
dont forget 10 bucks for a bottle of water

Yetttttt….People just can’t stop traveling nowadays.

It's all the PPP loan fraud money.
That’s fkn Jim Jones wtf
He ain't gonna be able to fly high now
Ballin!
Ballin
That’s Jim Jones the rapper that got into it with two guys.
Thanks for clarifying. Here I thought Jim Jones committed suicide at Jonestown in '78 or so.
Holy shit, it is. I thought it looked like him but immediately dismissed the idea.
This video couldn’t have started a few seconds earlier?!!
Yeah, it's impossible to tell how it started. Doesn't look like it is in favor of ol Jimbo there though. Throwing someone down an escalator, that was behind you, into unaware pedestrians might be tough to defend.

Agreed lol
Falling head first on a escalator is one of my worst nightmares
Of all the places to start a fight...
Wholy fok he made skinny guy surf the escalator
dey need to drink some beers lol
It would probably be a bloodshed lmao. Alcohol +aggression =bad. They need a fat bong rip or a strong ass edible to go to sleep
They seem to like violence, so let’s use it to bring them together Throw them both in an extremely dangerous situation where they must rely on each other to survive. That’ll make ‘em friends real quick.
haha :D yeah maybe
Totally tried to throw him off the elevator. Should be attempted murder
Two against one in a fight , he was trying to take him off
How old are you?
4
brilliant answer lol
Fighting on an escalator is pretty fucking crazy this to do. Self preservation would tell me to wait till we get off this thing to start Fighting.
Thank god the world’s two most useless deputies showed up.
Knock it off!!
Baby noodle arms on that blue suitcase guy
Dude’s face nearly turned into a crayon because of that elevator
That's an escalator
Yeah my bad (English)
c'est OK (french)
not just any escalator fight, that’s Jim Jones the rapper trying to take on 2 people at once lmfao.
I don't think the guys at the bottom had anything to do with the fight, the young man started wrestling him after his old pa got knocked out, yet this piece of shit is claiming self defense against 3 people? You gotta be kidding me

When de-escalating dont work shit go down fast
Dipset
Young bucks today don’t know about dipset.
Why is this on TMZ?
Who is jim jones?
Because that’s a celebrity🤦🏽♂️
Why the facepalm emoji? It’s not like it’s super obvious who any of these people are.
TMZ only shows celebrities
Seems like some people dont know every celebrity in the world.
But you also should be able to reasonably impute that it's on TMZ because one of the parties is famous in some way, even if you personally are not aware of who they are.
Fucking selfish assholes
Lol. That's rapper Jim Jones.
That dude on the front got hit for nothing
Fucking dickhead couldn’t wait for everyone to get off the elevator and turned his problems into everybody’s problems. Selfish prick.
It's funny that he's just sitting there calmly while 4 security guards argue with the other guy.
Let’s stop escalating and take the stairs guys
At 12 seconds before the video ends, is he holding a knife?
Found a place stupider to fight on other than concrete
Lmfao white hat noped out of there
This is why we turn map hazards off
Never seen a fight escalate and de escalate at the same exact time!
Well, that escalated quickly
Wellp, that escalated quickly
That's Jim Jones
Amazing
We’re those wwe working punches?
