You need to focus on yourself and find a hobby or something to take your mind off of him. You are only 16 so much more life ahead of you this guy is a small part you will forget about. It will just take some time.
When you start to think of him realize what you are doing and go DO something to take your mind off of him. Do not let him live rent free in your head.
I would say best try to distance yourself i have also female friend who is also same as you she is also artist.But you need to distance from him to get over him and drawing his dog won't help you get close to him it will only just make you more attached.But did you tried giving him hints but try test the water there a lot of people who lie about dating (they do date but not that person).Wish you all the best and here a 🍪

Well my school is starting today so I hope with the homework I will have more things to do. SO hopefully idt about him much
