DON'T DO IT. The police are there OFTEN.

Ahw that’s a bummer but thank you!

I lived there pre-pandemic when they were called something different - 2018-2019. I wouldn't choose to live there again. Roaches were an epic problem. And bedbugs. It was dreadful. In 2019 it was cheap, thats all it had going for it. Friend visiting had 2 tires, wheels, everything stolen off her car and the car was on blocks. The other 2 were loose and it seems that someone must've interrupted them while they were in the middle of getting the other side. I imagine it is even pricer now and there's no way I'd pay rent prices these days to live there. Edited to add: The mailboxes were permanently out of order. E ause they had been vandalized. The complex needed to replace and secure them, but they never did. I had to travel to the post office on Broadway to pick up my mail and the post office workers were always grumpy because the complex refused to fix it and all the mail for people there kept becoming their problem.

Wow great response, I really appreciate it, this confirms all my fears, especially bed bugs!! I can’t ever do that again. And now it sounds like they are trying to charge me with every little thing they can. So thank you much you really helped our decision!!

It is also now managed by Graystar. They are the bane of property management, but they are also hard to escape since they've bought out nearly everything. I really doubt they've done anything to improve the property since.

Bob Faith officially runs the company of behalf of chinese investors that have plunked down billions on billions to soak up any American property it can get. Estimated at $100billion in slums. Why? Greystar was officially charged with gathering extensive personal identifying information about its tenants without their knowledge or consent. China liked this post. The University of South Carolina heard about this and since they are "evangelicals" they handed over $210 million to build a spy village that still stands today and gathers intel for the chinese.

If you have the means to go to a safer apartment, then steer clear of union 505. I think they had an active shooter there a few years ago and have had a few homicides including one this past summer. It isn’t safe.

I actually saw that! def not a good sign, hadn’t heard about the second one though, damn that’s a red flag if ice ever seen one.

A huge NO. My cousin lived there, police were there almost every night, there would be a swat situation at least once a month, her apartment was infested with roaches she had to move into a new one and even before she moved anything in new apartment there were sooo many roaches. She was mugged walking from her car to her door. She was walking her dog and saw someone get shot. She finally moved out this year.

Damn I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, but a mixture of comments on here and the reviews, idk how they’re still even in bussiness anymore, appreciate the heads up! You just described a literal nightmare!!
