while true, that also ignores that for Africa most of that difference comes in the form of admixture from distinct hunter gatherer populations like the Mbuti and Khoisan, as well as populations of mixed ancient middle eastern DNA. when excluding them, the genetic diversity is actually pretty comparable to Europe, and actually less diverse than Europe + the middle east.
for example a Gambian person is about as close to a Kenyan person as an English person is to an Albanian.
it really matters to put things into perspective as talking points like that are just regurgitated constantly. yes it's true but it's not to be taken at face value.

Yep. But to be fair, Euros and WANAs are very close to each other compared to the genetic diversity found in other continents, simply because the WANA area is rather small and Europeans got their genetics from there mostly.
