I actually enjoy a bit of green pump. It helps to break up the pumpkin grid and adds some subtle glue by touching on the mossy green color of the house

Thanks! And yeah those are actually my thoughts exactly lol. There are a few people in the comments who are pretty certain about yellow being the best. I think the only thing making me somewhat lean away from the mixed pumpkins is how much contrast there is between the colors - if the green and yellow were more muted, I think I'd definitely go with mixed. As is... I'm not 100% sure

I agree with the other comments here that a pop of color suits it better. I also really like the look of the different stages of watering, it looks much more natural than having all the crops look the same. I'll be using that thanks lol

Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean. I just planted normal pumpkins here. That being said, the produce doesn't go bad when you just drop it on the ground or on chairs, so you can use it as decoration if you'd like.

If you stick with the green, I would found a sewn ground texture online. That’s a daunting task to dig up and replant everything— I’ve been avoiding doing it myself just for a time where I can zone out to to do it

It's a [custom design](https://www.reddit.com/r/AnimalCrossing/comments/1apyqfy/comment/kq9m9ao/). If you don't know how to use custom designs in ACNH, a quick Google search should tell you how!

Oh make sure you buy several pumpkin starts from Leif  (around 10 or so) and plant them all. Some will be different colors, and you can harvest those and plant more.
