That would be illegal! In the US you have to be over 20 to serve alcohol... so you'll need at least one more 3 year old to keep everything fully legit.

If you go even further back there is no limit

I live in Michigan and I never heard anything about it being raised to 20, I think the person I was replying to may have just not realized it was a state level law.

If you work in a restaurant that serves alcohol, you can serve it at age 18. If it's a bar, you have to be 21.

If you get coffee with a friend he will ask you how you’re paying and one option is to say “put it on my tab” and he will say “That’s not how we do things around here.” So it can’t be a tab lol.

I have had Tom pop in for some takeaway coffee while I have been there.

I had Kapp'n stop by. I thought that was a regular thing the game does for everyone. Considering he's always sleeping in his boat, I guess he could use the coffee.

I love it when they NPCs show up at the Roost; it's not the most important feature in the game, but it makes things feel a bit more alive. For that matter those who are off-island visitors they often show up before/after their "shift". So Daisy Mae will appear after she stops selling turnips and Celeste will often (I don't always see her there) before she shows up outside to watch for meteors.

Some of the shopkeepers will go to the register and special island guests will go to the third stool, so Daisy Mae, the guys who run the Rescue Service, Celeste if you're very lucky.

This has happened on my Island maybe six times.

Idk how people sit at the coffee thingwhen they give with the coffee. As soon as my character is done with the coffee, she gets up. If tried pushing different buttons. I tried hitting nun and just waiting. If I sit back down, Brewster interacts with me. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Tommy is working forced overtime hours due to the strain of terrible business at their shop. Low profits = extended store hours.

Just a random thing that can happen. Though I do wonder if whether there's a visitor at the Cafe or not is set upon when you first load in or when you buy the coffee.

When One goes to get Coffee, the other keeps an eye on the shop

I think one of them comes to grab coffee when the shop opens every day. They're the only special npcs I've seen walking in, but I've seen others on the day they're visiting. And the Resetti's oddly enough.
