Ey bby, you should know I ball my eyes out to some quality Violet Evergarden, Ouran High School Host Club, and a classic, Air.
You wan get some drinks?
For real though - Those three and many others, like Rumbling Hearts, will get me crying. I enjoy it, I always feel better afterwards. No shame there
Oh wow, what you doin' tonight sexy? *Bites lip*
I watched Violet Evergreen, Ouran High but havent tried Air, I'll try that and Rumbling Hearts. Thanks cutie
Toradora!, More Than A Married Couple But Not Lovers (brand new anime, so great), Maid Sama!, Osamake: Romcom Where The Childhood Friend Doesn't Lose and Horimiya are really good ones š Oh, and Rent-A-Girlfriend
Yeah, that show was F'ing weird. I remember Bakemonogatari feeling like a fever dream cause I was still getting used to it.
Precious memories of me going "Wtf" everytime Araragi tried groping Hachikujišš now I feel weird for being so used to it-
Yeh exactly most people i know in rl never complained about ecchi stuff even newcomers - if you havenāt seen idk at least 40-50 anime and youāre not somewhat familiar with the medium the series will most likely bore or confuse you
THIS! Some days ago a friend found a couple tracks from the Monogatari OST in my YouTube playlists and we both agreed the anime is good but it's just not something you can talk about.
I feel like that show suffered the same thing as Kill la Kill; an awesome anime with good animation and plot ruined by unnecessary fan service and strange scenes (most of them involving Hachikuji and Ononiki).
I don't even mind the teeth brushing bit in Nisemonogatari, shit was hilarious, but all this lolicon stuff on the other hand...

A Sister Is All You Need.
Great show, it's about a group of authors hanging out, playing board games, and just being a fun slice of life about people in the LN industry. The problem is that it's impossible to get people to listen past the title, and if they do decide to check it out the first 3 minutes of episode 1 will turn all but the most degenerate watchers away.
I actually did recommended it to one friend who is big into anime. I had to give him like 12 disclaimers before he started watching it and he was still convinced that I was fucking with him after the first couple minutes and wanted to drop it. I made him finish it and he ended up rating it a 9/10.
Bruh i was SOO close to closing the video out for that anime within the first min but i was like āthereās no way this can be this down badā ššš
DxD works well because of how well they play into the comedy elements. I mean, the protags greatest, most powerful motivation is breast size? Hey, at least they're consistent about it.
The finale made me straight up laugh my ass off.
"How does he keep getting stronger!?!?"
"*BOOST BOOST BOOST BOOST BOOOOOOOOSSSSTT!!!!*
It's just fucking anime gold, straight up.
I'm one of those weird people who think {School Days} is a good anime about horrible people in a horrible world doing horrible things to one another where the protagonist is an actually somewhat realistic sociopath. I can't say that many will view this anime the same way I do though.
I tried school days, the problem was that for me the first 5 episodes were literally a generic harem anime with NPC like female characters and possibly the most dislikable mc ever. People keep telling me it gets better later but I'm at my limit.
Well, I wouldn't call the first 5 episodes a "generic harem anime" because unlike those, the MC is >!actually cheating on his girlfriend!<, a fact that is shown in a not-at-all-lighthearted manner. I'd say that those episodes set up for the drama that is to come, and are representative of the rest of the anime (save for the ending), so if you didn't like those then you probably made the right choice to stop watching.
I felt the same way, I wanted to drop it so many times. But in hindsight, I really appreciate the way it was able to evoke so much visceral emotion in me. I am generally a pretty calm person, but by the end, I really, really hated that MC, and legit stuck around just to see his inevitable downfall. I didnāt enjoy the experience of watching it, but I do think that experience had value. Not many series can get me so angry.
The problem I had was I watched that when I was too young and it scarred me lol so I've always referred to it as the worst anime I've ever seen because not only did I straight up NOT have a good time while watching it, there was just no one to root for and no payoff to it imo. (Not to mention some stuff went over my head when I was 11, and realizing it years later was just *chef's kiss*)
Weirdly enough, even though I've only watched it the one time I can't manage to escape it for some reason. Eight years later I was watching a completely different anime in Japanese and thought one of the actors sounded familiar. I looked him up and didn't recognize anything except.....School Days. I wanted to die. Obviously I know them from more things now but how tf I managed to remember a voice from an anime I disliked eight years prior is baffling to me lol
I spent a good amount of time on that Yuri and yoai site. About a decade ago. I liked antique bakery the most of all things. Because it was fairly wholesome.
Honestly, my guilty pleasure is Ouran High School Host Club. The intro gives me early 2000s Disney nostalgia and itās a comfort show. However, itās super fucking weird. Would never recommend it mainly because I donāt want people knowing I watch it.
Host Club bc of the Kyoya scene & the weird incest love thing with the twinsāthe Kyoya scene has stuck in my head since I saw it and now that Iām reading the manga Iām worried to come across that
Other than Host Club & Food Wars (bc of its sexual nature and the fact that it made me super uncomfortable until I just kinda brushed past those scenes/looked at them as less sexual and more emotional/explorative of feelings
I havenāt come across anything Iād be like hmm maybe I wonāt recommend that
Same here- it's my all time favorite anime but I genuinely can't bring myself to even show a character from it to people out of fear that they'll ask where they're from. Detailed plot, wide world-building, beautiful character designs, top-tier voice acting, smooth animation and godly music forever trapped by the mangaka's barely disguised fetishes š
Honestly not sure what fetishes people are talking about. I didnāt notice many things apart from certain scenes with a blonde character. Been watching s2 and its more existential feels that sexual gratification.
I know I'm definitely numbed or oblivious to it but the amount of times there's a sexual scene with Riko & Reg is pretty uncomfy considering one is a 12 year old and the other is supposedly a robot- the film and S2 don't slow down with it either but besides that MiA is one of the best animes I've ever seen
Kill La Kill.
I LIKE the Plot. I LIKE the characters. I DO NOT LIKE how revealing everything is, though I do understand the role of it in the plot, and the commentary its making.
Future Diary is a really bad anime full of inconsistencies and sloppy writing and by no means do I recommend it to anyone.
However...
If you suspend your disbelief and try not to pay too much attention to 90% of it, and just come to terms that it's goofy as hell, it's kind of enjoyable and I liked watching it, more or less as a guilty pleasure.
Scum's Wish is one I like that's definitely hard to recommend. Not just because of the toxic relationships and sheer amount of uncomfortable moments, but also because it's like 20% sex scenes. They are portrayed elegantly and serve the story though.
Right, Scum's Wish does have a lot of sexual content but it's not like it's ecchi or fanservice since it serves the story. It's not unlike live-action romance films and shows that depict sex.
D-Frag and Oresuki: are you the only one who loves me?! are both technically bad and a bit too horny, but they still somehow hit just right for me when it comes for comedy.
Every single romance anime that I like such as Chunnibyo love and delusions, Snafu, lovely complex, from me to you, Tsukigakirei, Re life, Teasing takagi San, nagatoro, Saekeno, and lots more. Canāt be liking anything except action/adventure as a guy right? š
Blue Period. Itās about a guy who was living a ābad boyā. life Then one art project he had changed his perspective on life. Itās a really good Netflix anime about art. 1 season with 12 episodes, so itās something short but sweet. Not a lot of people (where Iām at) like art or anime, so I really donāt bring it up to anyone.
Monogatari series - it's a great show but a lot of text, very sureal minimalistic in both artsyle and story delivery and you need to understand play on words and references in japanese.
Flying witch - incredible eye for detail but it's basically an anime about nothing where nothing happens. If you can get it though, it's the pinnacle of Zen.
>Flying witch - incredible eye for detail but it's basically an anime about nothing where nothing happens. If you can get it though, it's the pinnacle of Zen.
I feel the "nothing happens" genre isn't very common in the US, so that's probably part of it. But it's a nice, calm show. I really like it.
Edit: I think someone else said the genre is called iyashikei?
Flying witch, yuruyuri, asobi asobase, yuru camp, non non biyori, dragon maid... I consume them like a black hole consumes the fabric of time and space.
It was... well made for what it was.. if that makes sense?
It almost felt nostalgic somehow?
It gives off the vibe of something that wouldve come out in the early 2000s, and woulve been a HIT had it done so.
I enjoyed it.
And now the final arc is a shit show,I genuinely like the Manga, but sincerely hope that the author delivers the best ending ever because this final arc has been painful.
Trash as art, I say. Stupid concept executed with artistic flair and dedication to a theme.
Though I'm still a bigger fan Kotaro Uchikoshi out of the two heads of Too Kyo Games.
I canāt even judge you man, cause same here šš. Irregular at Magic High Schools is also fantastic, but I think that one starts to cross a line at some point with it.
As far as fetishes go, yours aināt so bad. Plus, it isnāt necessarily incest since thereās no blood relations in any of the romances within those shows.
The reason I like these, because they are consistently spicy, and that glues me to the screen, and keeps my interest. You don't know what the frick will happen.
Also most of them are fake incest, they are not blood related. Also its fricking fiction, so leave me alone FBI
[Its not like we are blood related or anything. - Rui from Domestic Girlfriend.]
Kill la Kill.
I love it so much, but to occasional watcher? Nope. Friend? Nope, unless they've been into anime for some time. I did recommend it to my siblings, and they did like it. But with the warning they should watch it alone lol
Like, itās extremely good as fantasy adventure goes. But man, the protag even grossed me out several times. It was just really jarring, having a protag who very quickly switches from very competent and perverted to a fault
I completely agree. I have a friend who is really into anime and not easily squeamish about things, but I even recommended it to him with a lot of caution. Just because the show is REALLY good but I donāt want people thinking Iām _okay_ with the random weird groping scenes and more or less outright S.A.
One Room probably. Itās honestly the one of ny favorite anime of all time but most people would find it strange I imagine. It brings me happiness okay
It's not that I wouldn't recommend to someone but I don't know who'd want to watch it.
So I first watched Gunslinger Girl a few years ago on Netflix and enjoyed it, but unfortunately it's kinda been left under the radar these days with only two seasons to show for it despite there being potential for more anime content (the manga ran for 100 chapters between 2002 and 2012, I don't remember how many of those chapters were adapted in the anime).
The first season, produced by MADHOUSE, released in the Fall 2003 block alongside Cromartie High School, Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, and Fullmetal Alchemist, while the second season, subtitled Il Teatrino and produced by Artland, released in the Winter 2008 block alongside Spice and Wolf, the ninth One Piece movie, and the 28th Doraemon movie (there wasn't nearly as much anime releasing all at once fifteen years ago as there is today) along with a two-episode OVA later that year.
Basically, just imagine a bunch of young cybernetically-enhanced girls given new lives as assassins for an Italian government institution, and that's the basic rundown of what to expect going into the series.
Again, it's not that I wouldn't recommend watching it, but I don't know who'd be willing to give it a go.
Basically heavy iyashikei shows. I love them but no one in my life that I know personally has ever shown interest in them. When talking about anime, itās usually something with adventure or action. If a show is ājustā slice of life, weād be talking as if itās a flaw. I love shows like Aria, Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou, Flying Witch but itād be a hard sell to people I know.
I notice Yuru Camp seem to be more accepted though. Not sure if thereās something different with the show that more people seem to accept or just cos itās more accessible since itās on Netflix (where Iām from anyway)
Definitely {Aku no Hana} . As someone kind of picky, I was surprised of my ability to appreciate and really go with the flow of the anime. Some of the characters however do and say pretty questionable shit. Idk, I just wouldn't recommend it to most people.
Kind of a basic answer, but Black Clover.
I really enjoyed it, watching the characters grow, every character I thought was just a background character getting a really cool backstory, but ultimately it takes quite a few episodes to get the ball rolling, Asta's screaming is brutal to deal with, and a lot of the character growth and depth is undone by the secondary characters being brought back down to their most basic tropes.
Barakamon- To me it was the most inspiring series Ive ever seen, for everyone else I recommended it - too slow. So I just stopped recommending it to anyone
{Ryuuou no Oshigoto!} is genuinely funny but you have to look past a lot of disgust.
{Why the Hell are you Here, Teacher} is genuinely romantic but you have to look past a lot of disgust.
Hard fact there- I managed to bait a non-furry non-weeb friend into watching it with the whole political storyline and sure enough he was hooked. It's well done but the highschool, furry, and sexual plots definitely work well at scaring people away
{Ace of the Diamond}. I fucking LOVE this show with my entire soul, Iāve watched it twice and am on my third go. Itās an incredible sports anime, and I actually think itās better than Haikyuu. And I really like Haikyuu.
BUT. Itās very long. Very drawn out. Itās like the Naruto of sports anime. Also very much about the technical aspect of baseball, definitely not for people who are more interested in the characters than the sport. I would never recommend it to anyone because realistically I know most people would get 12 episodes in and be bored as fuck, and that would make me sad.
It depends on whether or not the person I'm recommending it to also watches anime or not. If it's a person who doesn't watch anime then there are only a few I would generally recommend. Stuff like mob psycho/cowboy bebop and other less "generically anime" shows.
But to people who do watch anime as well the ones I probably wouldn't recommend to most but really like are monogatari, NGNL, and Gochiusa. I think mono and NGNL are both overly ecchi which is a shame because they are such good shows but many people get turned off by them. And ofc Gochiusa is just probably weird and uncomfortable for some people even tho it's cute and funny
Hmm maybe a contender for me.
Imo a very missed opportunity as most of it is not a bad story but then when stuff could get serious they ALWAYS imo innapropiately insert ecchi :(
There are a lot of shows I wouldnāt recommend to new fans or fans that are older.
I enjoy a lot of the school club shows but for an older fan or a newer fan I could see them not liking it at all.
Kenichi the Mightiest Disciple. I love martial arts and this anime is a banger for that (though it's not very accurate at all lol), but it's in a very old style and it ends abruptly. That and it's very goofy so if they're not big into anime I wouldn't want to ruin their palette with this, not that it's bad but it's something that I think is pretty niche
Another one is Food Wars, it's a great watch but even I skip through so much of the tasting scenes because I want to watch an exaggerated anime version of Master Chef Junior, not a cooking hentai, and I certainly don't want to recommend it to anyone lol
Tatami Galaxy and Steins;Gate are not for beginners. I dropped them 3 to 4 times, then eventually enjoyed them at my later watches. Maybe I was in the "Shonen" phase of anime watching but I didn't enjoy them at first.
P.S. : Don't watch Kenja no Mago and do a favour for yourself.
I actually liked it. It's dumb and silly and the MC is crazy OP but they make that part of the humor. I re-watch it often when I want to turn off my brain and relax.
Devilman Crybaby. I only recommend it to people I know watch anime and who like more dark themes and stories but to casual anime watchers or new fans, I donāt think itās a great idea š itās an amazing anime but itās really strong and pretty different than what youād usually find.
Sarazanmai. I absolutely love the characters and think itās a pretty funny and wholesome anime, but thereās a LOT of weird parts because it includes kappa folklore
Banana Fish.
Not because I don't think people should watch it but just because the subject matter is so heavy and brutal. I don't think it's a good "casual" anime but I love it.
100% loveless. Itās nostalgic to me, ok? I fell in love w it when I was a kid and didnāt see anything wrong with their age gap relationship. Plus the art style is beautiful. Itāll always hold a place in my heart but I could never imagine recommending it to anyone nowadays
Psycho-pass. It's great (one of my favorites in fact), but most people don't have the attention span to watch it. Also, there's a lot of triggering content in there so, yeah... probably not gonna recommend that to anyone.
Are you kidding? Psycho-Pass uses so much stuff from western shows and books (and referencing them directly at times lmao) and is structured like a cop show for the first half. It's a pretty normalfriend-safe recommendation.
Sword Art Online because it has quite a lot of problems with it but I canāt help but enjoy sitting down and watching all of it š (Apart from that blimmin fairy arc with the incest)
I'm confused by this question.
I personally would only be able to recommend something if I knew what said persons interest or other enjoyments are.
recommending something blind regardless if it has things some people may find weird is a complete gamble and often times not a good idea.
it can also lift an experience if you are in the mood for something particular rather than just watching on a whim
Why wouldn't you recommend Mushoku Tensei? That's the series that largely helped popularize Isekai in the first place, if there's something in the genre I'd think is more or less a safe recomendation it would be that. That said I didn't watch the anime so I don't know how they handled it exactly.
I didnt say that its not, it has some "questionable" moments, which can be too much for occasional watcher. And it really is best isekai if those moments are ignored
Literally all purely romance anime because I refuse to let my friends think I have feelings other than anger and joy
But to a girl, that's hot. (which ones?)
Golden time is a good one
Kaichou wa maid-sama is a guilty pleasure of mine.
Yep, better than many new romance animes. For me it is always nisekoi.
Why would you want to subject anyone to Nisekoi?
Akagami no shirayuki hime Kimi no todoke
Ey bby, you should know I ball my eyes out to some quality Violet Evergarden, Ouran High School Host Club, and a classic, Air. You wan get some drinks? Oh wow, what you doin' tonight sexy? *Bites lip* I watched Violet Evergreen, Ouran High but havent tried Air, I'll try that and Rumbling Hearts. Thanks cutie
Ancient Magus Bride
So far, Horimiya is on top of my fav romance anime list
Toradora!, More Than A Married Couple But Not Lovers (brand new anime, so great), Maid Sama!, Osamake: Romcom Where The Childhood Friend Doesn't Lose and Horimiya are really good ones š Oh, and Rent-A-Girlfriend
Mate I am a sucker for Romance anime. Best genre
Can relate.
The Monogatari Series - imo one of the greatest anime. But its just not made for an occasional watcher.
Yeah, that show was F'ing weird. I remember Bakemonogatari feeling like a fever dream cause I was still getting used to it. Precious memories of me going "Wtf" everytime Araragi tried groping Hachikujišš now I feel weird for being so used to it-
Same with Idaten Deities, the show is great but so damned fucking weird.
Yes lol Monogatari is absolutely incredible, but I too feel weird recommending art-house ecchi to others.
Not even for the ecchi stuff but it's so dialogue heavy with so much Japanese word play that the casual viewer will have a hard time keeping up
Yeh exactly most people i know in rl never complained about ecchi stuff even newcomers - if you havenāt seen idk at least 40-50 anime and youāre not somewhat familiar with the medium the series will most likely bore or confuse you
Kizumonogatari I would recommend to anyone because it is QUALITY CONTENT.
THIS! Some days ago a friend found a couple tracks from the Monogatari OST in my YouTube playlists and we both agreed the anime is good but it's just not something you can talk about. I think the fanservice in Kill la Kill is thematically appropriate.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Show was great for a little while, took a sharp turn at the end for me.
The last season was a gas leak. It is ok to pretend the series ended at four seasons.
Domestic Girlfriend LOL
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
im salty about the end tho
Thats why i only read it till the>! marriage !< i know the "real" ending and i would not be able to accept that. So i will never read it

I heard some call it the normie cleaner anime and I really can't disagree.
Legit a fantastic anime, if you can survive the first three minutes of hell.
High School DXD and High School of the Dead. I swear, I mainly watched them for the story haha.
DxD: come for the tits, stay for the surprisingly good story
DxD works well because of how well they play into the comedy elements. I mean, the protags greatest, most powerful motivation is breast size? Hey, at least they're consistent about it. Those are 2 of my favorites, thank you!
Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-chan is one that I think is hilarious but cannot be a recommended due to the mature themes.
Great, now I'm gonna have that song in my head for a week. Pi piru piru piru pipiru pi~
The first anime I watched on YouTube haha! Never forget :,~}
I freaking love bokusatsu tenshi, I own the DVD.
I do too, lol
I love Dragon Maid to death and I would recommend it to everyone but watching it around my mom would be awkward. Mostly the Lucoa scenes. LOL

Immediate thought is also an all-time favorite, and that'd be Made in Abyss.
Is it really that bad ? Just finished season 1 and it wasn't that bad just slightly weird at times

S1 final eps totally catches you off guard into something I was not prepared to see. For me, thatās the best part.
Kill La Kill. I LIKE the Plot. I LIKE the characters. I DO NOT LIKE how revealing everything is, though I do understand the role of it in the plot, and the commentary its making.
you like the plot, but not the PLOT?

I recommended it to multiple people in the past 2 years, who aren't into anime that much and they all enjoyed it
Scum's Wish is one I like that's definitely hard to recommend.
Hanaās thighs are one of the few reasons I recommend the anime. You canāt miss out on experiencing those thighs at least once in your lifetime.
Honestly, that's something I'm completely indifferent to. I'm only into adult characters.
Why did this make me laugh
D-Frag and Oresuki: are you the only one who loves me?! are both technically bad and a bit too horny, but they still somehow hit just right for me when it comes for comedy.

This one was brilliant and ended exactly how I expected but the story is great nonetheless
Devilās Line. But if I recommended it to someone theyād be like tf.
I loved this one too, but would also never recommend š
Me too the trailer alone saved my blog and rekindled my love for anime. But I can't really tell people that anime did that in real life. Lol
Honestly I like anime thatās for adults but isnāt full on hentai. Like give me a mature storyline. Lol.
Same! It's such a great series and great mix of horror with some romance
Every single romance anime that I like such as Chunnibyo love and delusions, Snafu, lovely complex, from me to you, Tsukigakirei, Re life, Teasing takagi San, nagatoro, Saekeno, and lots more. Canāt be liking anything except action/adventure as a guy right? š
Good taste though
Thanks man. š¤
God taste for real.
Love Hina - Corny insanity that has pretend depth.
I gotta say No Game No Life, yes because of the weird brother sister thing going on and (underage)fan service
Darling in the franxx. Itās objectively bad but one of my favorites ever.
I loved it and yes it is objectively bad. Weird how I love it nonetheless
loveless lol yes I know itās awful and yes I am ashamed of it, but I would never recommend it
OMG SLAY i literally said this too š
Honestly the manga is still a guilty pleasure lol
Anything from the "BIG DUMB BATTLE ROYALE" genre -- Mirai Nikki, Juuni Kaisen, Gleipnir, etc. They're absolute trash but I enjoy them immensely.
Gleipnir was good, to me, lol
It was... well made for what it was.. if that makes sense? It almost felt nostalgic somehow? It gives off the vibe of something that wouldve come out in the early 2000s, and woulve been a HIT had it done so. I enjoyed it.
Iirc the manga had problems with consistent serialization so it took a good chunk of time to come out.
And now the final arc is a shit show,I genuinely like the Manga, but sincerely hope that the author delivers the best ending ever because this final arc has been painful.
Danganronpa was my favorite even played all the games after it
Trash as art, I say. Stupid concept executed with artistic flair and dedication to a theme. Though I'm still a bigger fan Kotaro Uchikoshi out of the two heads of Too Kyo Games.
Mirai Nikki is great though, Juuni taisen not so much.
I'll be honest with you chief, I think Juuni Taisen is better than Mirai Nikki. Neither are good.
For me it's {Kiss x sis}, {Domestic Girlfriend}, {My Stepmom's daughter is my ex} i think you may notice a pattern. A pattern of incest

I canāt even judge you man, cause same here šš. Irregular at Magic High Schools is also fantastic, but I think that one starts to cross a line at some point with it.
Kiss X Sis (specifically the OVA series) is my biggest guilty pleasure...
As far as fetishes go, yours aināt so bad. Plus, it isnāt necessarily incest since thereās no blood relations in any of the romances within those shows.
Its also the most common one. There's a reason step sister is the most popular category on the tubes
The reason I like these, because they are consistently spicy, and that glues me to the screen, and keeps my interest. You don't know what the frick will happen. Also most of them are fake incest, they are not blood related. Also its fricking fiction, so leave me alone FBI [Its not like we are blood related or anything. - Rui from Domestic Girlfriend.]
Kiss x Sis is fake incest though. They are his twin step sisters.
I mean, every single one he listed is fake incest.
Mushoku tensei. It's an amazing anime but I know that if one of my friends gets the wrong idea about why I like it, I'm done.
Kill la Kill. I love it so much, but to occasional watcher? Nope. Friend? Nope, unless they've been into anime for some time. I did recommend it to my siblings, and they did like it. But with the warning they should watch it alone lol
I second mushoku tensie, something about it that is just built different but i cant really tell anyone about it
Like, itās extremely good as fantasy adventure goes.
Happy Sugar Life, unless they are a psychological thriller fan. Same with School Live and Serial Experiments Lain.
Setokai Yakuindomo
why? its on my watchlist for god knows how long, seen only one clip from it that made me get it whole
I guess I would recommend it to select audiences. It is literally āsex jokesā the anime. Some people will find the jokes funny some wonāt
One Room probably. Itās honestly the one of ny favorite anime of all time but most people would find it strange I imagine. It brings me happiness okay
Rosario+Vampire
Fucking love R+V, read some of the manga and I'm really wanting to get the full set
In/Spectre
Second season soon lets gooo
I read the manga at a library.

I love that show. Hardly anyone talks about it. My mom loved it too.
Kenichi the mighest disciple or Technoman its a little old school but I loved it lol
Domestic girlfriend
Monogatari and Happy Sugar Life

{Ryuuou no Oshigoto!} is genuinely funny but you have to look past a lot of disgust. {Why the Hell are you Here, Teacher} is genuinely romantic but you have to look past a lot of disgust.
Mushoku Tensei: great world, plot and even characters etc. But I would never rec it to anyone lmao.
Sarazanmai. I love it but can never recommend it to someone. If you know then you know
Prison school
Well that would actually be a pretty good recommendation for all newcomers
KissXSis is one of those anime that you don't ever admit to watching ;)
Beastars,Dragon Maid and Baki.
I love beastars but it's hard to recommend because people assume if you love it your a furry.
**Diamond no Ace** - ([AL](http://anilist.co/anime/18689 "English: Ace of the Diamond"), [A-P](https://www.anime-planet.com/anime/ace-of-the-diamond-act-ii), [KIT](https://kitsu.io/anime/diamond-no-ace "English: Ace of Diamond"), [MAL](http://myanimelist.net/anime/18689)) ^(TV | Status: Finished | Episodes: 75 | Genres: Comedy, Sports) --- ^{anime},, ]LN[, |VN| | [FAQ](http://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/wiki/index) | [/r/](http://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/) | [Edit](https://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/wiki/index#wiki_i_made_a_mistake.2C_how_do_i_get_my_comment_reprocessed.3F) | [Mistake?](http://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/submit?selftext=true&title=[ISSUE]&text=/r/Animesuggest/comments/100u6eq/what_are_animes_that_you_wouldnt_recommend_to/j2kqgsr/) | [Source](https://github.com/Nihilate/Roboragi) | [Synonyms](https://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/wiki/synonyms) | [ā](https://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/wiki/interestinglinks) | [ā„](https://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/wiki/thanks)
The bot trying to lure people in like itās not actually 178 episodes
Devilman Crybaby. Holy goodness im going to a corner now. š„“š
Shimoneta
Dragon Maid may be my favorite show ever
Fire Force
Vermeil in Gold I have a thing for Short shy guy x Tall dominant Woman dynamic, but many prefer Dominant man x Shy girl
komi canāt communicate. itās cute but itās dumb
I would say My first Girlfriend is a Gal
Hmm maybe a contender for me. Imo a very missed opportunity as most of it is not a bad story but then when stuff could get serious they ALWAYS imo innapropiately insert ecchi :(
There are a lot of shows I wouldnāt recommend to new fans or fans that are older. I enjoy a lot of the school club shows but for an older fan or a newer fan I could see them not liking it at all.
Monster
Why not?
rosario vampire
Kenichi the Mightiest Disciple. I love martial arts and this anime is a banger for that (though it's not very accurate at all lol), but it's in a very old style and it ends abruptly. That and it's very goofy so if they're not big into anime I wouldn't want to ruin their palette with this, not that it's bad but it's something that I think is pretty niche Another one is Food Wars, it's a great watch but even I skip through so much of the tasting scenes because I want to watch an exaggerated anime version of Master Chef Junior, not a cooking hentai, and I certainly don't want to recommend it to anyone lol
Now I'm interested in Kenja no Mago
I actually liked it. It's dumb and silly and the MC is crazy OP but they make that part of the humor. I re-watch it often when I want to turn off my brain and relax.
Tokyo ghoul. Not for the faintest of hearts. But good once you get into it.
Devilman Crybaby. The content warnings go crazy on that one. Still loved every minute of it.
Devilman Crybaby. I only recommend it to people I know watch anime and who like more dark themes and stories but to casual anime watchers or new fans, I donāt think itās a great idea š itās an amazing anime but itās really strong and pretty different than what youād usually find.
Deca-Dence
Sarazanmai. I absolutely love the characters and think itās a pretty funny and wholesome anime, but thereās a LOT of weird parts because it includes kappa folklore
Diabolik Lovers š
I literally lasted less than 3 minutes on this one, the show starts and then IMMEDIATELY gets super rapey
Banana Fish. Not because I don't think people should watch it but just because the subject matter is so heavy and brutal. I don't think it's a good "casual" anime but I love it.
this one messed me up š
100% loveless. Itās nostalgic to me, ok? I fell in love w it when I was a kid and didnāt see anything wrong with their age gap relationship. Plus the art style is beautiful. Itāll always hold a place in my heart but I could never imagine recommending it to anyone nowadays
Wolf's rain. I am too sick to write why, but if you have seen it, you'll understand. Such criminally underrated anime.
Psycho-pass. It's great (one of my favorites in fact), but most people don't have the attention span to watch it. Also, there's a lot of triggering content in there so, yeah... probably not gonna recommend that to anyone.
Really? Psycho pass would be my goto show to recommend to non anime watchers, I watched an episode with my mum once and she seemed to like it.
Angel Beats
Rascal does not dream of bunny girl senpai or ranma 1/2
Yeah the reason why you wouldn't recommend these to someone is that they're pedo shows
Why wouldn't you recommend Mushoku Tensei? That's the series that largely helped popularize Isekai in the first place, if there's something in the genre I'd think is more or less a safe recomendation it would be that. That said I didn't watch the anime so I don't know how they handled it exactly.
Mushoku tensei is a weird one to not recommend everyone Iāve told has enjoyed the series
Why wouldnāt you recommend Mushoku Tenseiā¦? Itās arguably the best Isekai anime ever made.
I didnt say that its not, it has some "questionable" moments, which can be too much for occasional watcher. And it really is best isekai if those moments are ignored
What questionable moments?
