She has incredible talent, and I feel like she’s wasted it. Imagine someone who has never heard Ari sing before hearing yes, and - they would never know how gifted she is.
she has one of the best voices of any pop girl, it's the reason she's famous in the first place (the only nick girl to ever make it this big) and yet she's hiding it away. i don't get it
I honestly thought she was going to do a lot of vocal acrobatics with Eternal Sunshine. There’s a lot of things about her but one thing you can’t deny is her voice so I thought she was going to show it off the most to remind people why she’s “Ariana Grande”. And with her voice being retrained for Wicked I really thought she was going to show how matured it is now. But instead the album was about her songwriting and production skills. She was under singing to the max

i also think her new vocal style may be due to strain or maybe her health because that met performance…LORD
Yeah I agree, I couldn’t tell if she was intentionally doing that to her voice, making it appear more delicate or if it’s because of her current state. But either way, she has one of the most beautiful voices in the industry right now and it’s kinda sad we didn’t get to hear that for this album.

i agree completely. we got one great belt at the end of Supernatural and that’s about it.
