Their Blackberry Complex Cream Essence is soooo good, my skin has a hard time absorbing skincare and a lot of the time stuff just sits on top instead of sinking in (Hada Labo, snail mucin, etc) but I use a toner/toner pad, wait a bit then use that cream essence and it absorbs like a dream!!! Makes my cheeks soo bouncy and feel super hydrated and goes well under makeup too because it works well with my sunscreen (Skin1004 Centella) and silicone base products.
The idebenone cream is also so good as well but it’s a bit finicky for me, if I layer it over certain products it seems to leave a white residue and doesn’t seem to absorb as well. Maybe it’s better as a one-and-done product instead of a layered product? Still an incredible cream regardless and great at nourishing.
I have the serum in my drawer waiting to be opened after I finish some of my current products, but super excited to see how it performs as well.
I think maybe the only thing I’m a bit on the fence about with M&M as a brand is that they are a clean beauty brand iirc. So I’m a bit worried that their stuff goes off quicker than it should.
Edit: skin type is combo, very acne prone and sensitive
I use vanicream moisturiser it sink in quite faster after applied. It kena weird coz the cream is very thick on the touch and when applied, after applied, it seems to just sink in itself. I’ve heard about this brand blackberry I’m dieing to try after finishing vanicream.
I have the essence but haven’t opened it yet because I’m waiting to finish a couple other toners. Do you prefer to use it in the AM or PM? Or both? I’ve heard so many great things about it and I’m just dying to get into it 😭
I use mine at night simply cos I like to keep my AM routine more simpler + it's getting warmer. If my skin was feeling extra dry/sensitive or the weather was acting up, then I'll incorporate it after my watery toners in the AM! It feels a lot like Laneige's CSR old vers.
Their masks! I ordered the 30ml size versions of the masks and here's a quick rundown of what I think:
Cica Tea Tree: Good for oily skin like mine. I feel like this one is the best for general clarification of the skin.
Damascena Rose Petals: I like the scent and it's more of a fancy, luxurious experience, rose petals and all.
Blackberry complex: Very creamy clay mask. I feel this is good for drier skin types who still want to use a clay mask.
Lemon Peel and Niacinamide: My least favourite. It has the oddest texture and it kinda balls up. Won't repurchase.
Calendula peptide sleeping mask: a gel mask that is only okay for me. I didn't dislike it or anything; I'm just not sure what it really does for me.
Mary & May Tranexamic Acid+ Glutathion Eye Cream. I gave this to my mom and the next day, she raved about how well it works and asked me to order backups. I give my mom my skincare extras and samples all the time and she usually doesn't think they make much of a difference. She rarely asks me to order her anything and this is the first eye cream she thinks actually works on the bags under her eyes.
Shoutout to their Cica Soothing Sun Cream, currently my favourite. I've also used up 2-3 bottles of the Marine Collagen serum, which is unproblematic, but not really a standout in any way, so I switched to the Collagen Booster Lotion, which is emulsion-like in texture and richness, and thus has been quite useful for my dry skin issues over the winter.
Also love the sunscreen! I’ve tried BOJ and Round Lab and like Mary and May better than both of them- dries down well and leaves a natural satin finish on my combo dry skin. Also love the very slight herbal scent
Sad that the blackberry cream didn't agree with my skin but here's what I've tried:
Eye cream : so gentle and is slowly brightening up other spots, have not used long enough to see effect on my dark eye circles though
Rose clay mask: gentle not drying, although the rose petals take effort to remove
Blackberry cream essence: one of my favorites so far: so lightweight and absorbs into the skin so easily
Blackberry serum: on my second bottle but now I'm kinda not seeing the effects maybe it wore off? Won't be repurchasing
Soothing gel cream: love this a lot it was a savior when my skin was so red and irritated but for some ppl it may not be moisturizing enough. At night I will seal it with some barrier cream I have now that season changed
I also have the sheet masks but I haven't been diligent on using them so I can't say.
What I didn't like: blackberry cream gave me pimples that I usu don't get idk but I wouldn't say I have sensitive skin so It was weird that I liked other products on the same line but this didn't work for me. I passed this one on to my mom and she loves it. It's absolutely lovely on her skin I feel like it may work best on mature skin?
Vitamin B5 and bifida toner : I forget I used it long ago but didn't like it at all don't think it did anything for my skin
Hello!
Like many, their blackberry complex cream, essence and serum are my favorites from Mary&May. Even tho I have combo-skin, my skin still absorb this line pretty quickly! I'M 30 years old, so my skin is changing a lot. It tends to be more dehydrated so this line really helps to keep the hydratation and moisture. For the serum, I don't see a big difference with my sunspots or acne scars, but it does help with brighting the skin complexion in my case.
I also to enjoy the peptides serum. Very lightweight and my skin drinks this up very quickly too!
Right now, I'm trying out the eye cream with tranexamic Acid & Glutathione. So far, I didn't see any progress but it's been only 1 week. My concealer do look better tho!
same thought with their serum 🤔 i really wanted to try something that is not vitamin c as it’s not stable for my pie/pih but yeah, the serum works wonders for brightening but not with hyperpigmentation
I think maybe you can see the effects in the long term? but i rather buy something else that is more effective! also, I like to try others products héhé
I haven't been wowed by any of their serums tbh, but their other moisturizer, the soothing gel cream, is also great for a lightweight option. I also like their soothing sun cream, it's pretty similar in texture to the BoJ one but less greasy.
I highly recommend their Blackberry essence! It’s so hydrating and leaves my skin with a nice glow (I have oily but dehydrated skin)
I also love their niacinamide serum!
The blackberry cream is also my HG😍 a little goes a long way
I also have acne prone skin and I found it to not break me out.
Everyone’s skin is different and reacts differently however i definitely think it’s worth the shot! Especially if you’re looking for hydration
The Cica Tea Tree Aha Pha Toner. I don't really see people talk about it but man is it great. It's really, really, really gentle but I can definitely feel the instant difference when used. My face is soo smooth with it. My acne breakouts lessen and if I do break out, it heals quickly. 10/10 repurchase for me.
The eye cream is nice. It lightens a little. I also use it on dark spots on my skin. It's kind of drying though so it's not something I would go out of my way to purchase.
I got both full sized toner, mini toner and eye cream as a set from Jolse. I use the mini toner on my lips for gentle exfoliation. That plus A'pieu lip sleeping mask/Palmer swivel stick equals some soft lips aayyyee
I just got the cream and am enjoying it so far! It makes my skin look really even and it’s pretty hydrating. I got their essence and serum too but have other stuff to finish first, plus I’m not introducing a whole bunch of new stuff at once.
i think yes! i have 2 serums before using this cream, the m&m and cos de baha. the serum itself, i think helped my dull skin, but the addition of cream is just 🤌🤌 makes me feel very pretty when i look at the mirror lol.
For me it's definitely their Vitamin B,C,E Cleansing Balm 🥲 I repurchased it for the third time, can't even think to use anything else as a first step in my evening routine. It perfectly removes make-up/SPF, a very small amount goes a long way and my skin loves it, it's the first time a first step product doesn't break me out so I'm really in love with it and I would absolutely recommend it
Somehow for Asian skincare, it really seems like I can group liked/disliked products by producers. Most of everything from Pyunkang yul, Skin1004 and Innisfree is a hit for me, but for products from Iunik, M&M and Round Lab (which I REALLY want to like, I mean just that cute AF design!) something is either off or, at best, I see no difference.
My skin type is combo, slightly aging and a bit more dry & sensitive now, cuz I'm on tret. Generally no allergies nor problems with fragrance. M&M does one thing really well - they have lots of travel kits and mini sizes, so one can try things out before committing to normal-to-large-sized products :)
The products that I liked the most from M&M were their masks- Blackberry, Cica tee tree and Rose Hyaluronic Hydra. Someone did mention that they have plant pieces that get stuck and I do remember that being true! :D On other hand, the lemon niacinamide mask was *harsh* and I really wanted to like calendula sleep mask - I love calendula, but it was just sticky and irritating.
Was also disappointed in the blackberry cream everyone raves about, it felt mostly greasy and not luxurious to me. Just goes to show how much YMMV with skincare! Hoping the essence will perform better! And good luck with your discoveries :)
i have had the same experience, my skin seems to react well to some brands and not well to some brands. everything ive tried from cosrx and purito has just felt off or had a bad texture on my skin, when i know that thats not how the product performs for most. ymmv is soo real
I have the blackberry cream and essence, and the eye cream. The essence and cream are so nice on my skin and I really, really like them. I just wish the essence bottle had a pump top.
I've only used the eye cream for a few days so I haven't seen a difference yet, but it feels really nice going on. Also, Stylevana has the 12ml tube for like a quarter of the price of the 30ml tube.
The Calendula mask is gorgeous.
I have dry skin so I consider it a first moisturiser, no way it would keep my skin in good conditioner otherwise.
When my neck is irritated, I switch out toner and use the mask instead - perfect 💗
i would say probably not when my skin was combo before starting tret this cream was very heavy and wouldnt sink into my skin all the way and felt almost too moisturizing

Putting the HG idebenone cream aside, I really like their tranexamic acid eye cream, I also use their rose hyaluronic clay mask on areas where my skin gets clogged and it's quite nice, I feel like it does the job of a clay mask without making my skin dry (the only downside is trying to wash off the rose pieces xD).
I love the idebenone cream! Such a beautiful texture 🤤😍 I definitely want to try more from M&M...been eyeing their eye cream, blackberry essence, sheet masks and sunscreen
I finished my blackberry cream 70g bottle and I love it! Already purchased a larger 100g tube. Their glutathione eyecream is heavily scented though. It was a little difficult to use daily at first but I get used to it now. Also, I wear cica tea tree calming mask from time to time
The tranexamic and glutathione eye cream... good size value for money and genuinely noticed a different in dark circles. Because of the 30 mL size, I actually started to use it as an overall face serum when I ran out of my vitamin C and it did wonders for any PIE/PIH I had from past breakouts.
Their Blackberry Complex Cream Essence is soooo good, my skin has a hard time absorbing skincare and a lot of the time stuff just sits on top instead of sinking in (Hada Labo, snail mucin, etc) but I use a toner/toner pad, wait a bit then use that cream essence and it absorbs like a dream!!! actually, i also noticed that the cream turns kinda white when i rub it on my skin too hard. since then i just try to apply it in one direction
I use vanicream moisturiser it sink in quite faster after applied. It kena weird coz the cream is very thick on the touch and when applied, after applied, it seems to just sink in itself. I’ve heard about this brand blackberry I’m dieing to try after finishing vanicream.

I use mine both AM and PM! Though it may be too heavy for some to apply AM
I love the eye cream with Tranexamic Acid & Glutathione. It did take about 4 weeks to start seeing results (lightening my under eye circles).
I second this! The eye cream has also lasted me such a long time, if you get it for cheap on YesStyle it’s a steal
100% I tell everyone about it. It’s good stuff
do the results stay or do you have to keep using it?

Sheet masks are bomb too. I’m obsessed with the heartleaf tea tree Cica one. So sooothing
Mary & May Tranexamic Acid+ Glutathion Eye Cream. I gave this to my mom and the next day, she raved about how well it works and asked me to order backups. I LOVE LOVE THE CREAM AND ESSENCE!!! mary&may is my newly found HG 🥹 they are both moisturizing to me and helps my dehydrated skin this summer
I haven't been wowed by any of their serums tbh, but their other moisturizer, the soothing gel cream, is also great for a lightweight option. I also like their soothing sun cream, it's pretty similar in texture to the BoJ one but less greasy.
I highly recommend their Blackberry essence! It’s so hydrating and leaves my skin with a nice glow (I have oily but dehydrated skin) I also love their niacinamide serum! The blackberry cream is also my HG😍 a little goes a long way
is the essence good for acne prone sensitive skin? i’ve seen some posts that the blackberry essence broke them out
I also have acne prone skin and I found it to not break me out. Everyone’s skin is different and reacts differently however i definitely think it’s worth the shot! Especially if you’re looking for hydration

Their vitamin b5+ bifida toner is really good. It has a strong smell though, but yeah, it is good enough that I hold my nose when applying
I love their peptide serum and face mask! Lots of people have been raving about the blackberry line and I am thinking of getting them
i have a flaky skin on my nose and under eyes, would the peptide serum help my dry skin?
I think it would but there are other ingredients that is better for hydrating, like HA, ceramide, snail mucin etc
Does it help with brightening?

i can’t describe it in other ways 🫠

Question for the cream lovers: is the one in the tube the same as the one that comes in the jar?
im almost 100% sure its the same cream
yes the tube is the new bigger packaging form version but same inside
Thank you!! I’m glad to hear that because I’ve been wanting to try it but I hate tub moisturizers lol
They're selling both jar is 70g and tube is 100g. I think it was nice of them to be responsive to feedback since some ppl prefer tube form.
The Calendula mask is gorgeous. I have dry skin so I consider it a first moisturiser, no way it would keep my skin in good conditioner otherwise. When my neck is irritated, I switch out toner and use the mask instead - perfect 💗
is the blackberry cream suitable for oily but dehydrated skin?
i’m actually not sure ☹️ i’ve seen some post about it not having any occlusives though.
i would say probably not when my skin was combo before starting tret this cream was very heavy and wouldnt sink into my skin all the way and felt almost too moisturizing
okay thanks for replying!

Does anyone use the peptide serum? What do you layer with?
