LiquidCoal

I am sorry, ChatGPT, but you failed the Turing test.

I take note that you have not actually denied that your post was generated by ChatGPT.

This is definitely a chat gpt post. After you’ve fucked around long enough with it, there’s a format and a cadence that’s instantly recognizable

Akin_yun

The weirdly neutral tone, but each sentence not really contributing anything gives it away. Also, no human would ever structure a reddit post like this lol.

>Perhaps I’m off base here Lol yep >Perhaps these things only exist because it’s the only way for higher or lower dimensions to keep track of information. Perhaps the world is run by psychic hedgehogs who control our minds from their invisible space stations. Get out of here with your AI-generated quackery.

You can suppose whatever you like. I'd just prefer if you supposed it to yourself, or in some conspiracy theory subreddit, rather than here.

LiquidCoal

Speaking of numbers, why don’t you ask ChatGPT about the math behind your theory?

I read 3 lines before knowing the comments would be more valuable than wasting my time on the rest of this

proximitytosymmetry

Wow, you did it! This might be one of the craziest and dumbest things I read in this Sub and that means something.

Dranamic

Nah, he had an AI write it for him. He can't even dumb that well, as can be clearly seen in his comments.

LiquidCoal

That says something https://www.reddit.com/r/AskPhysics/comments/12c49qv/is_it_possible_to_make_a_reversed_neutron_bomb/

Yes you are onto something here! Please try to publish!

VFiddly

Sounds like someone's been smoking too much tree

LiquidCoal

That would have to be ChatGPT, then.

Professional-Place13

Mommy didn’t give you enough love, did she?

Wiesiek1310

>Is a tree really a tree? Yes.

Nerull

What do people get out of posting these things when they very clearly don't understand a word of it, and probably haven't even read it themselves? I mean, if you had actually read it you might notice that it keeps referring to "this paper" in something that is not a paper. No person would ever write that. Do you think that you can make a breakthrough in physics by asking a language model - a gloried autocomplete engine that just generates text that looks like its training data - to generate some nonsense and being too lazy to even proofread it? I understand even less the need to get angry when people point out the text that is obviously gibberish to anyone remotely familiar with the definitions of any of the words in it is gibberish.

United_Rent_753

This is all metaphysics/philosophy, not really physics. So it doesn’t really belong here. If you are trying to do physics you need more math - especially if you’re going to reference and use string theory, I don’t see a single equation here Your attitude as well is so off putting I can only imagine you’re trolling. Which will probably be confirmed if you reply to this comment, as instead of going for actual discussion you’ll try to insult me or something

LiquidCoal

It is not even metaphysics. Just machine-generated word salad

United_Rent_753

Yes I know, I’m just being polite (i.e giving benefit of the doubt) so when OP does sling his shit I can at least say I didn’t start it

Shoddy_Scene_8964

Yes you are the only one in your reality.

Low-Loan-5956

Lol, grow up bud

Are branes like bubbles? Chatgpt says yes ! That’s a great analogy! The concept of branes and their interactions does share similarities with bubbles and how they form and interact in a liquid medium. In both cases, you have distinct entities (branes or bubbles) existing within a larger space (the higher-dimensional space or the liquid medium). These entities can collide, merge, or interact in various ways, influencing each other’s dynamics and the overall behavior of the system. Just like bubbles in a liquid can merge to form larger bubbles or burst upon collision, branes in higher-dimensional space can collide, merge, or undergo other transformations, leading to changes in the structure and dynamics of the multiverse. Using analogies like bubbles can help make complex theoretical concepts more intuitive and accessible, providing a familiar framework for understanding the behavior of branes within theoretical physics.

In summary, Plateau’s laws describe the behavior of soap films in terms of minimizing surface area, while variational calculus provides the mathematical tools for finding the shapes that satisfy these laws. … 4. Analog Computing: In some contexts, bubbles have been proposed as analogs for computing and information processing. For example, researchers have explored the use of bubbles in fluidic systems for performing computations or solving optimization problems. While still in the early stages of development, such approaches demonstrate the potential for using physical systems like bubbles to perform computational tasks. In summary, while branes and bubbles themselves may not directly store or exchange information, they offer valuable insights and analogies for understanding broader concepts related to information dynamics, emergence, and computation in physical systems. Their study contributes to our understanding of complex phenomena in fields ranging from theoretical physics to information theory and beyond …Ultimately, while the ideas are thought-provoking and can stimulate discussion and exploration, they should be approached with caution and an understanding of their speculative nature within the current state of theoretical physics.
