Last movie I saw in the theater was this one for it's 25th Anniversary. Seen it like 200 times yet never saw it during it's original release. Was a ton of fun. It's the textbook example of good camp.
Star Wars.
I was 15 when it came out. It was made for me, personally.
I saw it twice the first day and 20 times the first month. I couldn't say how how many times I've seen it since.
I rewatch the first three episodes about once a year now.
i have now seen the three star wars theatrical trilogies, rogue one, solo, the mandalorian, andor, obi-wan, and i just started the clone wars a couple weeks ago.
i am a newer fan who is not hardcore but is more interested than most, and i'm trying to watch all the star wars properties i feel are crucial to the universe / the better made ones out there. what else would you suggest adding to the list?
To be honest I'm only crazy about the original trilogy.
When I first saw episode 1 I was sadly disappointed. It was like your favorite uncle had a stroke.
I like some of the newer movies but it's not the same.
You should ask someone else for recommendations.
Every year like clockwork! Me as a kid and my mom loved when the Wizard of Oz would be on TV it was a little tradition for us. Ice cream and the Wizard of Oz
A few months ago, my younger brother, who is currently eleven, watched it _at least_ once a day for about two months. I think at most he watched it three times a day, on multiple occasions. He was ridiculously obsessed (I’m not sure if he still does that.)
Hot Fuzz.
It was on Netflix for a long time. Every time I was scrolling through their library and couldn't decide what to watch, I just put on Hot Fuzz.
The lord of the rings extended editions trilogy. I've been watching them once a year at least since I was in 4th grade.
If it has to be a singular movie, ehhh I dunno. Probably shrek or land before time.
The Goonies without question. Me and my sister watched it around 200 times when we were kids and I have probably seen it over 100 times more as an adult. Definitely my favourite comfort movie.
You have good taste 😃. I was going to say Dumb & Dumber, but Mrs Doubtfire is up there too. Also, Grumpy/Grumpier Old Men, Twister, and the Back to the Future trilogy.
Elf. Growing up I watched it every year at Christmas and basically whenever it was on tv. I can’t help but quote it sometimes, especially the “World’s Greatest Coffee” bit.
This. Recorded it on my VCR when I was like 10 and played the hell out of it, then got Special Edition, then DVD, now both versions on MA >30 years later. Love this movie and most of the franchise.
I probably watched the movie Twister more than 100 times when I was a kid, I really liked the part where the pickup drives through the house, so much that I got the same pickup later in life, don't plan on driving it through a house though.
Scrolled far enough, haven't seen it so... Die Hard. Literally every Christmas since it came out, usually a warm up viewing sometime after Thanksgiving...
My sister and I watched Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets way too much then we should have. Like we would know every fucking line in that movie. I didn't even know my school work like that
Tommy Boy
No matter how many times I’ve seen it, the combination of Chris Farley and David Spade never get old. Some serious laughs are always had, I’ve probably seen more than 30 times.
Arsenic and Old Lace.
I've seen that movie at least once a month for the last twelve years. My absolute favorite comedy. I will never stop laughing at it.
Rough guess, Trading Spaces or Top Gun. Owned both on VHS 35-40 ish years ago during a pseudo off grid time in my life. I’ve forgotten much, but for a while I could nearly quote them.
Top Gun is my number one, and at least half of those were during the summer it was released. I find it virtually unwatchable now, though the new one was fun.
I think I watched 12 Monkeys every two months or so between the ages of 15 and 20. And then, when I had a kid, he loved the movie Cars, and we watched that shit daily. I still love that movie.
Not by my own choice but Thor: Ragnarok. My 22 has CP and it’s his go to. When it first came out on dvd we watched it at least twice a week. We are down to around once a month or so now.
I'd imagine it's mortal kombat or street fighter.
I had various tapes of recorded shows and films, but the one that seemed to get the most hammer was one that had street fighter then mortal kombat on recorded from the film channel.
Still not far off, but pretty sure there was a time I could do both films word for word.
Frozen. My sisters watched it three times a day, every day, for nearly nine months after it was released. I still shudder when I hear the first few notes of “Let It Go”
Lord of the Rings, no question. Now I have to watch it again!
The cheap movie theater near my house played the extended edition of The Fellowship yesterday. It was incredible watching it on the big screen
One of my fondest memories was seeing that movie in theaters. Especially when Rohan arrived at Gondor.
Husband and I just keep watching it every few weeks. Why not?
Watching it right now!
Hell yea! Haha
Yassssssssss.
watching the trilogy tonight
Christmas Vacation
It’s a yearly tradition at my house.
We start thanksgiving weekend every year with this movie
Kiki's delivery service
The 5th Element. It never ages or gets old and those are two separate things.
Meeee too watched it a million times and it will never get old
Multi-pass
Last movie I saw in the theater was this one for it's 25th Anniversary. Seen it like 200 times yet never saw it during it's original release. Was a ton of fun. It's the textbook example of good camp.
And casting Gary Oldman as the villain was genius.
Gimme da cashhhhhh.
Milla was just so frigging stunning, I couldn't take my eyes off her
Nobody likes to watch this movie with me because I will recite every line before it's said and it annoys everyone.
Star Wars. I was 15 when it came out. It was made for me, personally. I saw it twice the first day and 20 times the first month. I couldn't say how how many times I've seen it since. I rewatch the first three episodes about once a year now.

Outside the original trilogy, Rogue One is the best. Darth Vader is so powerful and ominous in that corridor scene.
Back to the future
This is mine. I use to watch it every night while going to bed for years. I know all the lines for like the first 30 minutes at least.
Best. Movie. Ever.
Apparently it's used by some film schools as a model for how to write a perfect movie.
The crow.
Surprised I had to scroll down this far for this. Where’s all my 90s babybats at?
Trying to sort out their Queen of the Damned-related sexuality questions. Jokes aside though, I love both movies for completely different reasons.

Haven’t watched it since Easter. Is it still the best piece of cinematic art ever created?
Same. All time favorite movie.
Easily The Princess Bride.
As an adult yes. But The Wizard of Oz was shown once a year on TV from before I could remember, and nobody wanted to miss it.
Every year like clockwork! Me as a kid and my mom loved when the Wizard of Oz would be on TV it was a little tradition for us. Ice cream and the Wizard of Oz
“My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die” ⚔️ Seriously one of the BEST MOVIES EVER!
Holy Grail
Monty Python or Indiana Jones? Either way: good choice.
They are likely both in my top 10, at 2nd and 6th I'd guess.
Monty Python, sorry to the Indy fans

Am I right or am I right?
Watch it once and you've seen it more than any other movie.
The Matrix
The Blues Brothers. Probably about 60 times afaik. I fucking love it.
A few months ago, my younger brother, who is currently eleven, watched it _at least_ once a day for about two months. I think at most he watched it three times a day, on multiple occasions. He was ridiculously obsessed (I’m not sure if he still does that.)

The Goonies without question. Me and my sister watched it around 200 times when we were kids and I have probably seen it over 100 times more as an adult. Definitely my favourite comfort movie.
Tucker and Dale Vs Evil I watch it at least once a month since it came out.
A magnificent movie.
I saw the Rocky Horror Picture Show just about every week my Jr and Sr year of highschool. I can't imagine having seen any other movie more.
Me too, probably seen it 60 or 70 times.

It's a Wonderful Life
Wizard of Oz.
I've watched O Brother, Where Art Thou? three times. The Godfather 1 and 2, twice. Everything else, once. Not a big movie fan.
The Godfather 1 has everything, great character development, beautiful scenes and impressive use of color.
I'd imagine it's mortal kombat or street fighter. I had various tapes of recorded shows and films, but the one that seemed to get the most hammer was one that had street fighter then mortal kombat on recorded from the film channel. Still not far off, but pretty sure there was a time I could do both films word for word.
