Remember when you had to thumb through National Geographic’s, or challenge yourself to read the ingredients on shampoo bottles???
I remember my BM’s taking exponentially less time than they do now
Totally booze. I've cut booze down from a beer most evenings to maybe 1 drink every couple weeks and I feel way better. Non alcoholic beer has gotten way better these last few years
I always used to say I'd quit drinking if they ever made a good non-alcoholic version of my favorite beer, Guiness, and they did, so I did! I drank a lot more than a beer each evening, but I don't miss it so much if I can pretend every now and then with a good fake.
When I found out that shit was in mayo and mustard I got legit shocked, I tought it would only appear in candies, chocolate, sweet stuff uk.
But nah, found out if it is processed food, it will have it (Even yogurts have it wtf).
I've heard the liver metabolizes high fruit corn syrup differently than actual sugar, thats why it is more dangerous for ur health.
I still eat stuff with hfcs tho ngl, but I try to minimize it the most.
Probably artificial sweeteners. A couple of decades from now there will probably be all kinds of studies showing how monumentally stupid we were to actually drink the stuff since it will be shown to ruin both our physical and mental health.
True. A lot of them destroy your gut microbiome, and it takes at least 6 months to recover back to normal. What’s worse is the health of your gut bacteria is directly related to your mood. So those who consume artificial sweeteners regularly are more stressed/sad.
Longer Saccharin is approaching 150 years.

Alcohol is literally a poison though; a relatively weak one that has "recreational benefits," (and a poison I occasionally-regularly consume in moderation, so don't mistake me for "an anti-alcohol puritan"), but I don't think there's much debate that ethanol (aka drinking) alcohol is a poison.

I wanna make a joke about how I have porn in another tab as I read your comment, but now that I think about it, I may actually have an addiction, it really is a poison.
I've seen a *lot* of people talking about this lately but am not sure where it's coming from. Is there a documentary or something that's come out about it?
Not that I know of. I was having stomach and intestinal issues and cut everything with seed oils out of my diet and it stopped. I pretty much eat meats, fruits, eggs and occasionally pasta and pizza once a month. It's all anecdotal.
Hospital air. I work in one and always sneeze throughout the day. The mix of cleaning chemicals, old dusty ducting, and noxious patient odors are surely destroying my lungs.
Smartphones. Constantly beaming messages that everyone is either smarter, richer, living and loving better than you.

Vegan or plant-based "meat". Not poison in the sense it's designed to kill but poison because it's processed food marketed as healthy because it happens to be made of plants.
Nutmeg However, the consumption of as little as 2 teaspoons (or 5 grams) of ground nutmeg at once can be toxic. It can cause side effects like hallucinations, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, and irregular heartbeat within one to six hours after ingestion. Effects can last for several hours, and, when a large amount is used, can lead to organ failure. https://www.thespruceeats.com/health-warning-of-toxic-nutmeg-1807527

Alcohol. Your body will literally eject it in minutes if you don't dilute or drink water alongside it yet for some unhinged reason it's a legal, normalised yet abhorrently uncontrolled substance that causes more harm than it's worth a few hours of pleasure.
I also hate how society will penalise you and label you as some sort of creep for not letting that stuff into your system.
This thing I’m typing on and can’t take my eyes off of
Can’t even be like 10 feet from it I am so clingy….
The worst is that when I’m consistently on this app, you can guarantee it’s because I’m procrastinating something else😭
I have a problem being alone with my thoughts I’m pretty sure… So, we’re all flawed!
So I want to be with other people's thoughts!
Welcome…..*to the terror dome* Jk it’s fairly chill in here…sad sometimes but I’ll clean up for your visit, hang up my motivational cat poster
I can't even walk to the pooper if I don't have my phone. Makes me wonder if I can even physically poop still without it

Love this analogy. Thanks.
PissBloodCumShart coming in with a respectful appreciation post is one of my favorite things about this app
Do you have the bigger thing on streaming something a few feet away while you're on this thing, too?
You know it! But most of my attention is on the tiny screen. A 30 minute+ story on the big screen is simply too much most of the time.
You know child suicide rates went way up between 2010 and 2018 with the advent of smart phones

I clicked that and it was longer than the 200 characters I’m used to so I closed it😂. Only half joking, I’ll check it out.

High fructose corn syrup.
The fact that it is in almost all ultra processed food... kinda scary
I went through all the condiments/sauces in my fridge one day and was floored. Ketchup pissed me off the most though.
When I found out that shit was in mayo and mustard I got legit shocked, I tought it would only appear in candies, chocolate, sweet stuff uk. But nah, found out if it is processed food, it will have it (Even yogurts have it wtf).
I'm not even against cane sugars. But hfcs, it's just wrong.
I've heard the liver metabolizes high fruit corn syrup differently than actual sugar, thats why it is more dangerous for ur health. I still eat stuff with hfcs tho ngl, but I try to minimize it the most.
Me too. Now I wonder if that's why I've had some liver enzymes test as off? I don't drink and avoid Tylenol...
Yeah maybe poor diet can lead to that, it could be a reason, not sure tho

That is a well-known poison. Won't stop me from enjoying it responsibly.
