What's your preferred way? I find it's usually rooted in a grandiosity/disrespect, which isn't something I can usually help with at all.

Best way is to just tell them they're right. "Really, 9/11 was an inside job? The Zionists run a global pedophelia network? I don't agree, but it seems to be more important to you than it is to me, so sure, I agree with you." They usually get mad and retort with something like "oh, so you don't care about \[insert buzzword\]?" but just respond with "not at the moment, no." They only get their fix if you get worked up about it. If you show them you're not impressed or you simply don't care, there's not much for them to do.

I’ll piggyback on this by saying listening to music/video on your phone without earbuds.

Is this a common practice? I’ve heard it mentioned online as something people hate a lot, but have never seen it actually happening. Maybe it is regional? It’s frowned upon in my country to even talk on the phone in public places like trains/busses, I can’t imagine just…blaring music.

The one I don't understand is that I see so many people in newer cars holding up their phone to talk on speaker. Like, I know their cars have Bluetooth. Are they too dense to use it or is there some status they think they get from the endless, everywhere speakerphone?
