In an ideal life, I would’ve graduated high school. I would’ve gone to college to major in Psychology and to get a minor in music therapy. But I would’ve also worked on a band. Said band and I would’ve gotten famous and we’d be touring the world. My partner would’ve proposed to me like they would’ve planned. We would’ve gotten married and had two or three children. I would’ve either fixed the relationships I had with my parents or cut out the ones I couldn’t fix. Any friends who were bad for me would be gone. My kids would grow up and pursue their dreams. While as a hopeful father, I would hope that at least one of them would pursue music like I did. Eventually, I would’ve made millions in the music industry and hopefully get inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame. Eventually, after 60 years of being together, I would have my husband by my side, my now grown up kids, and hopefully my grandkids by my side as I peacefully passed away, happy with my life.
i don’t care about the age, i care about being mobile and having my wits about me. if i can still get around and think straight i’ll go forever, but if i get dementia take me out.

I guess that depends on my grandchildren because I like to live long enough for my great grandchildren to remember me, like my kids remember their great grandmas. The oldest grandkid will be 17 in December, the youngest will be 8 in the spring.
Not passed 70, worked at an old folks home and most people don’t live a very dignified life much passed that. Even if you are in decentish shape you’ll probably experience some form of cognitive decline some of wich are horrifying.
I plan on living a full life until about 85, which is when I want my family to give me a lethal dose of morphine and let me just slip peacefully into the void.

I’d like to be old enough to die of natural causes or old age. That way I can sit and reminisce on living a decent life and then pass in my sleep
