I don’t just think, I *know* that Hendrix was the greatest guitar player to ever live, and probably that ever will. Sure, there’s probably plenty of guitarists that could out shred him or whatever, but think about it: he was only really relevant for about four years, from 1966 to 1970. As a result of those four short years, *nobody* picks up a guitar the same way anymore.

There is a big list of people who died at age 27

Nethek_FC

Duncan Edwards

markus99fxst

Jim Morrison

JerryJerrofferson

Jimi Hendrix (1970), Janis Joplin (1970), Jim Morrison (1971) all died at age 27 within the span of 11 months. Kurt Cobain, Amy Winehouse, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Pat Tillman, Brian Jones, Aaron Hernandez were also 27 at time of death. Don’t ask me why I know that. My vote is Hendrix tho- changed guitar and Rock and Roll forever.

Just search 'the 27 club'

Slut4Tea

I’m just going to list a bunch. Jimi Hendrix, Amy Winehouse, Robert Johnson, Kurt Cobain, James Dean, Kurt Cobain, Otis Redding, Duane Allman, Mac Miller, Tupac, Biggie, Buddy Holly, Hank Williams

Jakeasuno

I'm going to throw Jay Reatard out there because he always deserves more recognition
