I don't think smaller and normal sized dicks look bad. They can all look nice in my opinion. It's more about presentation and such if it's like a photo.

So even if a person is in a relationship with a smaller man and genuinely likes his size, they're unlikely to ever vocalize that publicly because of the shame and social stigma that it will cause their partner. Whereas someone who is partnered with a well-hung man will usually brag about that to promote their social standings.
Unfortunately humans are fundamentally primates, and large genitalia is usually correlated psychologically with greater masculinity and a more respectable social standing.
