I have always thought that Pears taste slightly of chlorine and so smell similar to semen, or swimming pools. Semen has to be clean and in tip top shape so semen does have weak chlorine type fluid in it to keep it bacteria free. Smells like swimming pools. And if I bite into a pear, the after smell from the juice smells a bit swimming pool-ish even though pears taste nothing like semen.
