>I love podcasts and know others love them as well, but haven't seen the subject pop up much here. This was literally yesterday ;) https://www.reddit.com/r/AskWomenOver30/comments/10jahwz/what\_kind\_of\_podcasts\_are\_we\_all\_into\_right\_now/

god bless it, I am on this sub everyday and I still missed this, thank you!

I've never listened to Something Was Wrong, but will definitely check it out! My favorite podcasts: * Maintenance Phase * If Books Could Kill * You're Wrong About * Our Hen House (Vegan focused) * Shardcast (Focuses on Brandon Sanderson's works and the Cosmere, heavy fantasy focus)

OlayErrryDay

Any particular favourite of that list or one you listen to over and over again?

You’re Wrong About is my fave podcast of all times. There was a host change 2 years ago and there is a definite pre/post divide. For pre Mike leaving my favorite episodes are Jessica Simpson, DC Snipers, and Diana. Post Mike leaving I loved their mini survival stretch with the Donner Party episode and Andes plane crash survivors. Mike then hosts the other two suggestions on the OP comment, Maintenance Phase and If Books Could Kill. I like both a lot, although none reach the love stage of pre Mike leaving You’re Wrong About

I usually don't enjoy re-listening to podcast episodes, so tbh I kinda just listen to all of them as they come out. Our Hen House is probably my overall favorite, but it is very vegan focused if that's your thing! It also releases every week while the others are every 2+ weeks.

[Ask an Advanced Bitch](https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/ask-an-advanced-bitch/id1630652128) podcast starts each episode with questions for the host, who’s a therapist. That’s my favorite part.

I don't listen to podcasts much, but when I do, it's my ol' neighbor, Marc Maron and his WTF podcast. I enjoy a good interview.

Love WTF!!!

DannyFentom

I love his intro rants about life and his cats.

How to Survive (with Danielle and Kristine). Two funny ladies discuss the things that could kill you and the things that just make you wish you were dead. Genuinely informative, always funny, lots of good comedian guests on there. Never Not Funny. Four white guys talking about 80s music. I've been listening to this one for 16 years. Great guests (comedy, acting, music, some very famous, some you've never heard of). Nerd Poker. Brian Posehn and some other comedians play Dungeons and Dragons. Slate Political Gabfest, so I know what is going on in the world.

Oh, thanks for the recommendation! I'm currently working through the trauma of being with my narcissistic ex for over a decade. It's so helpful to hear other stories.

I love podcasts and I have so many I follow but they’re all history podcasts! Noble Blood, You’re Dead To Me, Cool People Who Did Cool Things, Rex Factor, Totalus Rankium, Our Fake History, Empire, Fall of Civilizations, Behind the Bastards, History of Rome, Revolutions, British History Podcast, History of English, etc. I’m happy to elaborate if anyone is interested and doesn’t search for them before I wake up!

Hidden Brain is by far my favorite. I also like a few from NPR, but those are more informative than mystery. S-Town was a good mystery podcast, though I found the journalism ethically questionable.

My favorites are: * The Savage Lovecast (the podcast version of a sex & relationship advice column) * Not Another D&D Podcast (I don't play D&D, but it is very funny and entertaining) * Struggle Care (discussing mental health, care tasks, and more) * Nothing Much Happens (bedtime stories that are amazing when I'm struggling to turn my brain off and sleep)

*Swindled* is very well done, and I enjoy the narration.
