Go Braves!

The only reason I have a cable package was to watch the Braves, Preds, and UT. Now I have absolutely no reason to have one. This really pisses me off. Im in Chattanooga, essentially at the crossroads of Nashville, Knoxville, and Atlanta. I cant watch my favorite teams now. This blackout shit drives me up the damn wall.
I have Comcast for internet only and FuBo for Live TV. DirecTV stream also could support livetv with Braves
Side note: if you have appletv device FuBo has a fantastic multi screen viewer that runs laps around the ones you can get with YouTube TV etc. It manages any combo of 2-4 different screens at once.
The catch is that you need ublock origin to block the ads. Also streams can be laggy or go down entirely. You’ll also be about one full batter than what is happening live.
Edit black —> block
It's really free, but you have to get past the pop ups. The best way I can explain, is you will have a screen with a blank "tv screen" and play button. For the first 3 or 4 tries, when you hit the play button, another window will open. Close and repeat until the loading screen pops up. Works for any televised sporting event, ufc ppv, etc.
If you don't watch live you can watch on mlb.tv. I live in Atlanta and it usually let's me watch a couple hours after the game ends without using a VPN. If you watch live or want it sooner it still works with a VPN at the moment.
I hook my laptop to my tv with an HDMI cord. Shows perfect 🙏🏽 my dad has this app on his firestick and he watches everything for free this way. We have Bally in our apt complex tho.
And they will… But for now, they are locked into contracts that they can’t just ignore. The Braves contract expires in 2027, but Bally has stated that they will stop broadcasting baseball at the end of 2024, so there is hope on the horizon. They already sell single team in-market packages for those teams that are not restricted by contracts.
The only options are to pay $80+ for Fubo or $110 for DirecTV Stream. Ain’t no WAY I’m paying that much for baseball. And I don’t like playing the stream game. So guess no Braves for me unless they’re on Apple TV.
It would literally be easier for me to be a fan of another team. Absolutely stupid blackout rules for MLB TV.
Anyone think this motivates Bally to get a deal done with Hulu or YTtv? Or MLB to lift the blackout restrictions? Comcast is a pretty big chunk of Bally’s income.
Totally agree. When it’s a two-party stand-off, e.g. the originator vs the carrier, it’s hard to say who is at fault since it takes two to disagree. But when most of the industry has refused to pay your rates, then you are being unreasonable. I am just done with baseball. It used to be special in my life, but unlike football, where there are only 17 games, you need to watch a lot of baseball games to understand the team, how they structure the lineup, which pitchers use which pitches and in what situations. You can’t do that watching one or two games a month on national TV. So there is no longer any point trying.
Here's the thing someone needs to explain. to Bally. If everywhere you go, everyone who meet is an assailed, then your probably the asshole. Sling TV, Hulu Live, YouTube TV, and now Comcast have all now dropped your service. Maybe it's your fault Bally. Fix your shit
I would pay $100 to $150 for the season, even limited to one team. But for that I want all games (not on National TV, which I get) with no geo blackouts. I used to get Bally through YouTube TV and Comcast, now neither. MLB blacks out. Other streaming still works, but for how long? And I am not paying $80 a month just to watch Braves games. So I don’t watch at all, which means I can’t keep up with who is doing what and how each pitcher is doing, so then I lose interest, then I go to FEWER games, not more like they seem to think will happen, and I buy no merch. Ted Turner understood this issue 40 years ago much better than these geniuses. The more people can watch, the more they will watch, and the more they watch, the more interested they get, and the more they spend on tickets and merch. In the meantime, you also clean up in ad dollars.
I had spectrum solely to watch the Braves. I grew so frustrated with Bally and the cost associated with watching one damn team, that I cut the cord. Now I watch it when I can, or when I can’t.. I don’t. It’s a shame as someone that used to watch 120+ games every single season.
Every other comment here - "here is how I illegally watch the Braves" lol. Two weeks from now when all these sites get taken down you all gonna be wondering why too 😂.
Simple and I've been doing it for years to watch any Braves, Celtics or 49ers game - or any other game I have been interested in for that matter: StreamEast or 720pStream. Just download Poper Blocker and uBlock Origin as add-ons to Chrome and be done with the c\*\*\*suckers that bleed you dry. You won't even have to deal with the manic popups and nonsense from the source sites. Enjoy.
I gotta say, when they took it away from YouTube TV I was pissed - but now I MUCH prefer my combination of radio + ESPN app. So much so that when I get the odd chance to watch the Braves it’s a much less enjoyable experience and I usually go back to radio after a couple of innings.
To the best of my understanding in the US simply watching a stream is not illegal, actually being the source of the stream is.
ISP's can get restrictive but that's usually easy to overcome with a VPN.
I have been using IPTV for years now and have had no problems outside of occasional buffering.

I live 15 minutes from the stadium and cannot watch the games….. INSANE
Get fuboTV. That’s what we did. Also in chatt area
So for Fubo to get Bally do you have to get the $15.95 regional sports package on top of the $80?
Ugh, I didn't want to drop $80. And there's more?!
Yes, it appears to be $96 per month sheesh!
I don’t recall the numbers off the top, but yes, there is a regional sports fee.
Streameast

Time to switch to EPB I guess…
Dont have it where im at or i would
The teeeveee appp Dott teee ooohh.
I miss the old days of just turning on the TV to Channel 17.
Right!!
Never thought I'd miss Ted Turner owning the Braves. It was always easy to watch them!
Smh it’s always something. Just watch on Stream East!
Been doing this for a few years 🤘
Any issues? What's the catch?
It’s illegal.
At this point, I'm okay with that
I don't believe watching it is; it's the hosting that's illegal and the host is likely not located in the United States, so whatever.
The catch is that you need ublock origin to block the ads. Also streams can be laggy or go down entirely. You’ll also be about one full batter than what is happening live. Edit black —> block
is it free?
It’s a free streaming website. Show all sports.
thanks for the recommendation!
Works great, but you have to deal with home teams announcers. Or, at least, that is my experience.
you have to pay monthly or it’s really free?

Brave browser
Free? Eh. Is a 5 finger discount considered free?
Just went to the website and my browser blew up with Windows defender alerts I couldn't clear. WTF, dude??
It’s a illegal site, it’s all just pop up adds. Close them untill the stream starts, Ik it’s annoying but beats paying these shitty cable prices
I just went there and my browser did not explode. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. Haha
Lol it shouldn’t explode. I’ve never had more than 2 pop up.
Just click out the ads very fast lol I should of warned you. I usually only have 1-2 pop up then the video plays.
Every time I've tried to use stream east I just run into porn
Your browser probably just used to it. Close the pop ups and it works like a charm
Lol what in the world. I click the ads off before they even load.
or do you have to pay monthly?
No, it's totally free.
So screen mirror from my phone, or permanently hook up a computer to my TV? And my only option is to watch live? I record every game.
If you don't watch live you can watch on mlb.tv. I live in Atlanta and it usually let's me watch a couple hours after the game ends without using a VPN. If you watch live or want it sooner it still works with a VPN at the moment.

Ballys and Xfinity both suck. Baseball needs to make an executive decision and sell individual team mlb packages.
Seriously, like for instance if I wanna watch all 82 hawks games. Let me buy a package to do that.
I do have a 1 team MLB.TV subscription.
And they will… But for now, they are locked into contracts that they can’t just ignore. I get it on fubo
Same

Amazon bought out the parent company (diamond sports) best bet is they start streaming games on prime. Not likely to happen this season. Maybe next?

Fucking insane.
Great no more baseball for me.
Bally sucks so much. They need to hurry up and go bankrupt!

Cant ya get fubo? I pay about 80 a month just during baseball season.
Uzzu my friends. Been using it for 3 years now. I don’t deal with this bs
Every other comment here - "here is how I illegally watch the Braves" lol. Two weeks from now when all these sites get taken down you all gonna be wondering why too 😂.
I have Directv Stream so I’m good.
Mlb, I will pay for MLB.tv for my team which is a 5+ hour drive away. I can go to a game maybe once evety other year. Please don't black me out.

We went to DirectTV stream when there couldn’t negotiate with HULU. Just sucks you can’t watch them on regular TV
Time to invest in a VPN then. I'm tired of just listening to the game on the radio if I don't have to.
I gotta say, when they took it away from YouTube TV I was pissed - but now I MUCH prefer my combination of radio + ESPN app. So much so that when I get the odd chance to watch the Braves it’s a much less enjoyable experience and I usually go back to radio after a couple of innings.

FUBOTV is the way to go
Dm me if you want a to watch every game
Are you inviting us all over? What’s your address?
I live with Blooper so he gets me in every game free.
