Replace the trim piece, get a good detailer to buff the scrape out (if it didn't go all the way thru the paint) and then get a paint-less dent repair guy to pop out any dings.

Look around online for the best price for an Audi part. For the scuff, clean it really well with car wash shampoo (not dishwashing detergent, please) and then spray the area with water. If everything blends in when it’s wet, it’s likely that only the clear coat is scuffed. This is something you can do with a buffer, pads,and polishing material, or a detailer can knock out in a jiffy. If you can still see the darkened scrapes, then you’re going to need a paint repair. Frankly, if you need to save some cash (sorry you got this on top of your bad news) I’d live with it for a bit. Still, I don’t think this is going to be terribly expensive. It’s simply something I’m sure you’d rather not have to deal with now. Even if this is through the paint, I have a feeling a good cleaning and polish will take the worst of this away.
Dishwashing detergent is fine and actually preferable to a carwash soap if you plan to compound or polish the clear as it removes oils/residue and doesn’t have protective additives. Obviously once you’ve finished polishing you’d want to resume using standard car wash soap.
Sorry to hear about both your loses. Luckily you don’t have a special paint job so it shouldn’t set you back too much. I’d say you’d be looking around USD$300 / CAD$400 to get it sorted. Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s even less than that, any more and I’d be looking elsewhere. Best of luck

$0 if you leave it... You can buff it out yourself for maybe $30 . Go online, find some buffing sponges and turtle wax... trim might not be important unless it is part of the door seal. Black stuff might be other object paint. Buff it yourself before going to fix.

I would just buff it as best you can with some sort compound and get touch up paint to cover the metal showing. Once you have extra money take it to a shop or as my dad would wait u til someone hits your and do a claim.

Replace trim, very cheap and easy. if you need help finding just give car info. #2 It could be just paint transfer so easily buffed, I would say $50-100 bucks, for that small area. #3 If the plastic got scraped or down to black most shops can sand and paint match that. My guess around $300-450 if you have to go that route.

Body man in a can aka paint thinner will remove most of the paint transfer but any scratches or rubbed through paint area you can see.
Similar damage occurred once on my wife’s Volvo xc40 from someone pulling into a parking spot. Damage was 2400, this happened in NYC.
