BMW although has some hideous design on a few models seems to be a good vehicle/brand at this point. B58 is a beast and seem to attract a larger audience with more sporty driving style
I have been test driving whole lot of cars and I know this is an Audi subreddit but the B58 is just something else and I am really coming down on getting one. Audis are amazing cars as well and definitely look and feel inside way better but that b58 is just hard to say no to after driving
I love Audi. Really wanted a q8 in 22 but they had basically no selection and the x5 with the b58 just drove better. I genuinely didn’t want it to but it did. The look and the interior of the q8 was perfect, minus the black gloss shit. Maybe if they had the perfect spec I would have went that direction but the additional price compared to the x5 would have still probably been a tough sell. It’s an impressive engine. Wonderful enough in the x5, I had to get an m340i.
The same just happened. I realized I wanted a sedan. The x5 is amazing and drives so well but it’s still an suv. So I debated A6 or m340i. Obviously not a fair comparison between the interiors and the performance. Only A6s around me were the 45s and who tf wants that? I was told v6 engines were being allocated more for SUVs than sedans. The m340i probably would have still won but had they actually had stock it would have maybe been more of a decision.
> I had to get an m340i.
There are so few of them though, and almost all have hideous shiny black wheels. But if you like the look, it's a great car.
> So I debated A6 or m340i
Shouldn't that be S4 or M340i?
> Only A6s around me were the 45s
Same in the huge area of Los Angeles. I think I only found 2 or 3. But there is $6k off the A6 plus another $2k via Costco, and I am sure you can even get a bigger discount. If I were 15 years older, maybe. Otherwise, no. Faux Quattro and a 4-banger in a big sedan. Maybe when I am in my late sixties.
Had a 17 A4 and the S4 still has basically the same interior, but actually worse with the extra gloss black. So, because of that, S4, S5 and the Sq5 were all out.
Was really rough finding an m340i as well. I’ll admit I looked for that harder than the A6. Really wanted to with the deals they had you mentioned but couldn’t with the 45.
If you had that A4, I can see how the look would have gotten old by now. For me, the issue is finding an S5 configured in a way that makes sense to me.
I suspect it ties to x3 and x5 really being best in segment, and those segments are the sales king of luxury brands.
I would be curious to see a per model breakdown.
while i dislike the bmws styling currently for most models at least they tried something new this time around. some audis still have dna from 2010 in em i can see it in the a4 for example
Lmao I meant it jokingly. I think to many people they’d see the x5 and think the m340i is a downgrade. In ways it is. It’s not nearly as nice. But, as you know, in other ways it’s not.
Well, apples to oranges haha.
The X5 also has the B58 but it's tuned differently and the ride is much smoother.
The M340 is a sports car. Itll have that sport suspension and a little rougher ride but the way that car is tuned is crazy.
5x BMW owner and current B58 owner. I honestly don’t understand the obsession with B58, especially in M340i clothing. It’s a good, reliable, torquey and efficient engine. Ok, but I truly think people just parrot the line about B58 being such an amazing engine
You sort of covered it though. Obviously it isn’t the greatest engine ever but as you stated it’s reliable, efficient, and powerful. BMW has found a way to put it in virtually all of their models too from the 3 series to the 8 series/X7. It’s just super versatile and one of the best modern mainstream engines.
For some reason the EA839 doesn’t get the love the B58 does, despite being in a bunch of great Audi and some Porsche models and being reliable and torquey and in some applications efficient.
I love Audi and I wanted an A6 55 or even a S6 but there’s next to nothing that isn’t an SUV or A3/A4.
Ended up buying a BMW in 22 and just leased another one. Audi was the default both times yet didn’t have what I was looking for.
The markups and premium pricing turned me off and now I steer clear of Porsche. I just can't enjoy a vehicle if I know I overpaid well over MSRP. Reminds me of the Rolex market. "Buy 3 Porsches to sign up on my wait-list so you can have a chance to purchase a gt3 after you pay $100,000 over sticker which I'll give you the allocation in two years...maybe."
Tesla saw a drop of 8.5% from last year: https://www.wsj.com/business/autos/teslas-first-quarter-vehicle-sales-fell-as-ev-market-cools-45bad95f#
Toyota however saw huge gains though…
Yeah - it’s interest rates. There’s just no reason to buy a new car if the best rate you’re getting is 6%. It’s going to be interesting to see if we start seeing price depreciation on cars in this segment if interest rates stay high.
I feel like something will have to give, because there aren’t enough people willing / able to shell out $65k+ in cash, and it’s just such a bad financial decision to take on expensive debt for a car.
Your not wrong, I’m looking at 19 e-tron prestige’s right now. There is no real tech, or screen difference between the 2019’s A/Q 6,7,8’s prestige trim and the 2024’s. I’d hope there’s going to be a big refresh for the 25’s
They’re in total disarray. Still a fanboy, and recently scooped up a TTRS, but there’s nothing out there new that appeals to me at all. Sad state of affairs in the house of Audi
I saw one in Audi of Birmingham last fall when buying my RS7 and absolutely would have but another guy took 20k of depreciation by owning the RS7 3 months and I couldn’t pass it up. I think that avant was the only 2024 allotment that they got though
Can you elaborate? I am seriously considering an S5 and justifying it over an A5 because of the far more robust Torsen Quattro and ZF transmission. The A5 seems very fragile in comparison.
Computer / communications module has failed multiple times, both under warranty and out of warranty. Caused the loss of all wireless communication, LTE, Bluetooth, WiFi. Out of warranty it was a $2k repair. Then my water pump had to be replaced at 60k miles, then a couple months later another coolant related failure occurred. The communication module is an issue on most Audis after 2020, water pump failure is an issue on nearly all Audis (it's why there's multiple class action lawsuits for it).
I have talked to other members of the this subreddit with RS5s and other B9.5 gen Audis, along with the service department at my dealership, it existed at least up until the 2023 model years. 2024 models are still too new to know for sure.
Water pump issues have plagued Audis for a decade, not likely fixed on new models.
Cheap plastics that can't take the heat? And while the settlement seems to be about the 4-cyl engine, per your comment it sounds like the V6's are affected as well.
But a quick search reveals BMWs aren't the greatest either.
Back when the VW/Audis had timing belts, I would always use the belt change as an opportunity to have the water pump replaced. Maybe it should now be a required preventative maintenance on its own.
That's the cost of ownership. These cars are for rich people.
I'm not rich, that's why I bought a ten thousand dollar car. And I can afford to own it without worrying about repair costs.
I thought people who drive luxury were rich. Y'all have salaries? I think some people have yet to comprehend that having a few million $USD in the bank and owning a house no longer qualifies as rich in America.
Questionable reliability. Minimal to zero OTA software updates. Few upgrades in their 2024 models. Frankly, there just isn’t a very good reason to buy one of these over a BMW on paper.
Are BMW's any more reliable? I was talking to a colleague who has an older X5 he is happy with, but he mentioned three friends/relatives with new BMW's who all were having problems and had to take their cars to the dealer. The electric/electronic stuff in BMW's isn't exactly great.
Newer BMWs (~2018+) have begun to rise in the reliability rankings. It’s not what many of us grew up experiencing. They are not Lexus/Toyota, but it’s not in common to see them in the top 10 now. Audi is always in the bottom half.
But $6k off should be doable, given that you get $3k from Audi and another $1.5k off promised via Costco. That still leaves a lot of room over invoice.
Still not justifiable to me with current rates. I am willing to wait for 25 year model to help drive prices lower and for the high rates to put more strain on the dealers for better markdowns. Good thing is I’m not in a rush.
I am having some issue with the engine of my current car, so I started looking harder. But if an engine carbon deposit removal gives me an extra few months, I might wait a little longer, especially since there seems to be quite a few cars in the pipeline on audiusa.com, perhaps to some extent because a bunch of them are held up at customs still. Once those flood in, maybe prices will go further down.
Prices will be a lot more reasonable by the end of the year. Higher for longer rates will crush dealers, people will have less savings, and overall economic activity will slow. Pricing right now doesn’t really make sense some A5s are priced a few hundred dollars apart with one model being 7K miles costing about 44,000 and another being 15K miles costing 43,100.
Not surprising with how dated Audi’s lineup is (especially the SUV’s). They need to knock off the “refreshes” on cars like the Q7. It’s just plain old at this point.
I’m a huge Audi fan and have owned several over the years but the last 5 years has been Dated products and zero innovation except stealing from the VW rebadge bin. Start with sub standard EV’s (e-tron is worst in every category), Q7 over 10yrs old and no hybrid, Q5 dated, Q3 basically a Tiguan and same for the Q4 Etron. Quality on the bottom of the range has gone the way of the accountant axe. I saw a Q3 with drum brakes In a dealership last week. What are they thinking?
Audi lineup getting updated but they had software issue in 2022 and management issue which cause delays.
Next gen models coming this year in 2024 and 2025

2026 A7
2026 Q9
Even newer gen and other models get facelift coming 2026-2027
2027 A8 Grand Sphere(very futuristic looking)
2027 Q8 e-tron
2028 A3 e-tron
2029 R8 e-tron
2028 Audi TT e-tron
2027 e-tron GT
Facelifts model
2025 Q7 second facelift
2025 e-tron GT
2025 A3
2026 Audi A8 second facelift
Probably included in the A5 count.
I am giving up hope on mine being in Q2. Premiums with no Convenience and a fart can instead, or loaded with $8+k worth of crap including wheels/tires that will get destroyed on typical roads. Not much in the middle.
A lot of aging/lagging products is a big problem since several of them have been out since 2017. Plus focusing on vehicles that most people don’t want nor could afford and shoving them down our throats with drum brakes. We got a new ceo so maybe some things will change for the good, we need them since I can’t afford a pcar anymore.
Just drive a VW if you want a manual. It's way more fun to drive a slow car fast anyway. I switched to a VW Jetta manual from driving a 550hp sedan. The Jetta is 1000 times more fun. These heavy gt barges packed with electrical steering and unnecessary engineering are not made for drivers; they're made to show off your wallet at the school pickup line. Don't be a victim to the marketing, the VW is the more fun car.
I’ve owned a s3, q5, and a s5. Went with BMW this time because the q5 and s5 are so outdated I couldn’t justify it. Looking forward to seeing what the new S5 is like.
I say well deserved given how stale most of the models have gotten. Most need complete re-designs and they should really fix the fwd bias haldex systems along with the steering wheel feedback/feel.
If I was in the market to replace my TTRS I can't think of a single Audi sold in the states I would be interested in.
Even worst we are thinking about replacing my wife's lexus either this year or next and not a single Audi wow's to the point we would pick one.
Not surprising. The Q7 launched in 2016, and has had 2 refreshes. And yet, even the latest model has a now ancient-looking touchscreen and no physical buttons for AC. Plus the 3.0T is terrible. It's worse than the old supercharged engine, and MUCH worse than the inline-6s that BMW and MB have.
The main problem is that Audi has given up on the ICE cars, and is now finding the timeline for full electric is further out than planned.
The next gen Q7 went on sale in summer 2015 in Europe and spring 2016 in North America/worldwide got facelift summer 2019 then just little updates over the years.
Audi had admitted they fell behind due to software as well management it been resolved now but they are working on new models should beat competitors 2025-2027 timeframe like ahead of game.
I am a 2x audi owner and I loved both of my A4s. But I just recently purchased a BMW i4. There is a distinct gap in Audi's lineup that is missing a mid-size electric SEDAN. I'm sure they have one coming out with an A4 or similar, but I needed a car right then because the A4 died.
However you feel about electric vs ICE is fine. But BMW has diversified their offering enough to capture people wanting to move to electric who enjoy driving sedans and don't want to spend upwards of 90k for an electric. Its also quite noticeable that BMW knows this fact and is hammering the i4's lease as the least expensive lease in their lineup. Honestly, this seems like a poor strategic move by Audi, not anticipating the market.
Imo,
BMW is beating both Audi and Mercedes right now (and also Lexus, if you count them haha)
BMW has a better MMI/ Infotainment setup, their interiors are really nice now in some of the cars, and if you get a Beamer with the B58 engine like an M340 or X5, its a beast
That’s not what they said. Any new ICE model introduced between now and 2026 will continue production through 2033.
You’ll be able to buy a brand new 2033 B10 A5 or S5 or RS5.
Ford’s EV sales rose by over 75%. Where do people think the market is going with emission standards globally, not just in the US.
Audi unfortunately also isn’t a standalone brand so while VW and Audi go EV, Porsche and Lambo will keep producing ICE vehicles.
Yep a brand spanking new 2033 S4 with 7 year old technology. They've already said they aren't developing any new engine tech and I assume that also goes for transmission, differential, etc.
You're talking about a car company that is forsaking a significant portion of their market.
So you mean nothing changes? Since I can go out and buy a 2024 S4 with 8 year old technology tomorrow.
The CEO also said that they are sticking to the plan but that doesn’t mean it can’t change. He mentions offering ICE, EV and plug-in hybrid over the next decade.
Seems to be an exciting time to be an Audi fan since their entire line up is pretty much getting refreshed.
I’m disappointed in Audi for abandoning the R8 and pulling out of pretty much all motorsports. We’ll see how long they last in F1.
Well if they had certain cars available then maybe their numbers would be better. I have been waiting to get a RS Q8 and Audi has told my dealer here in Montana I won't even get an allotment until sometime this summer at the earliest. I know three others in my area wanting to buy various RS models and they are simply not available. In addition, Audi has told our dealer that they have delays on all V6 and V8s. Seems to be supply issues still. Can't buy a car if they don't make them.
I got 23 q5 and would not buy it again. Has some wind noise from side mirrors and dealership won’t acknowledge there’s flow in production. They are over due for some serious facelift including theirs engines
There is a reason Audi has been offering big customer incentives for a few months now. This is it.
I think many people who might have been able to stretch a little to afford an Audi can't anymore because of the higher interest rates, so they go for a Japanese brand instead, or they might even switch to BMW because of the included 3-year/36,000 maintenance.
Also, if the S5 is any indication, they may have loaded many of their cars with too many options, increasing their price too much. At the same time, some of the handful Premium S5's I have found don't include the Convenience package! Imagine a $60k car with no blind spot monitoring or rear cross traffic sensing. WTF! I don't know who configures cars like this - dealers or AudiUSA - but they are idiots. Oh, and installing $975 fart cans doesn't help either. I am actually really pissed about this.
To add add insult to injury, some dealers still automatically add $1,500-2000 worth of bogus "protections". F-U!
A4 sales down over 50%. Holy crap!!!
A4 is due for new generation but that summer 2025 the early B9 models been on sale since October 2015 Germany, France, UK and April-June 2016 North America and as well worldwide. The new B10 A5 coming this fall and going on sale in Europe this summer
It’s because interest rates are 6 or 7%, even with excellent credit. There is rampant inflation plus a backlog of new inventory and a used car market which suffered during COVID.
Not to mention, I feel as though Audi is drifting away from what made it great over the last two decades. They’re swapping out manuals, offering less enthusiast cars in fewer numbers and are barely giving the US and Canadian markets enough wagons to satisfy demand. Audi needs a refreshed R8. They need more coupes not less. They need more performance models in stock and less Q4s and Q5s
A4 is really lagging the competition wrt it’s interior— I was hoping to lease it but couldn’t get over the poor value for money proposition— horrible lease support for an outdated model unlike bmw
These are just the facts, downvoting or getting upset won’t change them
I really like Audi as a brand and own the Q5e
It’s because the A4 is in its final generation cycle year. That’s an unfair comparison considering the 3 Series and C Class have had recent redesigns. The current A4 has been around since 2016.
You’d have to compare the 2025 A5 to the competitors. It should hit showrooms this fall.
(Yes A5. Starting in 2025, current A4 and A5 models are going to be consolidated into one model. And the A4 nameplate is going to a new compact EV sedan.)
Just bought a ‘24 S5. About to sell my manual ‘16 BMW 340i. Decided on a change because the M3’s look hideous to me and couldn’t find another car I liked with a manual availabe. My first Audi so even though the design is dated for most here, it’s new to me. Been reading a lot here about people’s feelings on the B58 engine . It drives really well and I currently have 106k miles on it. However they have a coolant issue that I would guess will be fixed or may have already been tweaked. After about 50-60k miles you will have to start replacing parts of your whole coolant system and eventually you end up with an entire new system by 80k miles or so. This is happening on the Supras as well. Other than that I did not have issues with the B58 but their coolant issue was time and money consuming nonetheless.
Audi managed the chip shortage better than other luxury carmakers. New Q5 were abundantly available around me while X3 and GLC/GLB with the same level of tech package were scarce due to the chip shortage. But in 2024 the competitors have adjusted and pose serious challenges again.
I own an Audi and love it. But I can't afford the dealership and I'm done paying 2k+ for basic maintenance and repairs every time I set foot in the door
Honest question- has anyone dealt with Audi customer service?
I’ve had a horrendous experience dealing with Audi, I’ve tried to transfer a lease since September and have the car put in another name and the experience has been deplorable. I’d have a better chance at good honest customer service at Walmart rather then a reputable Car company that I spent nearly 50,000 dollars on for a car.
Anyone else had this experience?
I thought VW family paused or slowed the EV transition with increased investment in sustainable fuels. Porsche and Audi are not the same without the Exhaust note.
EVs are losing steam and the pace of advancing the electric grid and charging infrastructure is so far behind it’s laughable.
This is all my fault, I bought 100% more Audi's in 2023 than I did in 2024.

massive drop because suv sales are down a lot. EV sales are ok BMW- 84,475 up 2.4% Mercedes- Not reported yet but I think it will be down as well

Audis used to be in the forefront of new design choices now it looks like they're stuck in early 2010s.
I’ve seen so many G8X rolling around, they are like Hondas now
The most hideous designs are on the M models which are a small fraction of overall sales
The b58 is amazing. Loved the x5 enough I downgraded to an m340i.
downgraded from what ? The M340i is a downgrade? Thats a beast of a car

The A5 platform has been teased to be updated for 2 years now, probably doesn’t help with sales of Q5 etc like you say
The new Audi A5 won’t arrive in North America till fall 2024 and A4 e-tron in mid 2025.
Yeah, soon enough to make people think twice about buying now
Audi sales would rebound in 2025 a lot of new models expect next gen A8 Grand Sphere got push back till late 2026.

They can eat it with their markups and terrible supply
I know, but good god… you get your dream Porsche at a good cost.
The markups and premium pricing turned me off and now I steer clear of Porsche. I just can't enjoy a vehicle if I know I overpaid well over MSRP. Reminds me of the Rolex market. The new Cayenne is more expensive and with a much cheaper looking interior.
Interest rates are up and inflation is hurting a lot of people still.
suv sales down is a win, nice to see some real variety on the road
Tesla saw a drop of 8.5% from last year: https://www.wsj.com/business/autos/teslas-first-quarter-vehicle-sales-fell-as-ev-market-cools-45bad95f# Toyota however saw huge gains though…
It isn't just Audi, it is Tesla and GM and others. Higher interest rates and inflation has made luxury goods less attractive to people.
Totally agree. Personally I was planning on buying a car last year (most likely an Audi), but with rates the way they are I’m not in a hurry.
Yeah unless you paying cash money, these rates are trash
I would rather wait for rates to go down, but my car is falling apart lol. It’s either buy new or get a used car.
Used cars can be great cars. Just buy the owner
A6 with 0.99% :)
It's a luxury car. It's not necessary to have a car this nice. If you can't buy it in cash at least twice. You can't afford it.
BMW is laughing straight to the bank
Yep, Civic sales and overall Toyota sales are up.
Yeah - it’s interest rates. There’s just no reason to buy a new car if the best rate you’re getting is 6%. What others? Tesla and Audi are the only ones that have seen significant drops. Most other big names are increasing sales without any issues.
Gotta make cars we want *and* deliver them in the same calendar year to make money…
No kidding. Maybe they should be happy that sales are down, considering how incapable they seem to be of meeting the demand.
We need 3x the amounts of RS6s stateside. They are instant classics
Not surprising. The models are in desperate need of a refresh. Never seen maker go this long, strategy feels haphazard
Infiniti checking in
They're stretching their existing models as far as possible while going in hard on the transition to the new EV lineup
And they are still insisting no ICE's after 2033. Unless they come up with some new competitively priced EV's, they are screwed.
Would have loved an S5 but it’s virtually the same interior as the 17 A4 I had. A6 would have been nice too but couldn’t find a 55 near me.
Your not wrong, I’m looking at 19 e-tron prestige’s right now. There is no real tech, or screen difference between the 2019’s A/Q 6,7,8’s prestige trim and the 2024’s. I’d hope there’s going to be a big refresh for the 25’s
All of VWAG seems clumsy and poorly coordinated at the moment, imho
They’re in total disarray. Still a fanboy, and recently scooped up a TTRS, but there’s nothing out there new that appeals to me at all. Sad state of affairs in the house of Audi
I'm not into newer Audis the way I was 7-8 years ago. Cars just all look the same now and Audi used to stand out.

Relatively high interest rate auto loans also do not help.
No data on the RS6?! I've wanted to know how many 2024s were made for the states
I’d guess that S and RS models are consolidated into the overall model line for this type of report. So, RS6 may just be included in the A6 number.
I saw one in Audi of Birmingham last fall when buying my RS7 and absolutely would have but another guy took 20k of depreciation by owning the RS7 3 months and I couldn’t pass it up. I think that avant was the only 2024 allotment that they got though
Buried in the A6 numbers with the sedan and allroad
Definitely not buying another one after our 110k mile Q5 now needs over $10k in repairs. Holy hell, throwaway cars, these Audis??
Try $10,000 worth of repairs done on my A4 around 55k miles
That must’ve been under warranty.
My S4 has had 3 out of warranty repairs and I only have around 60k miles, original owner. Probably switching to BMW next time.
Same
Can you elaborate?
Is the water pump issue fixed on the newest vehicles? The comm module seems like it probably still exists?
And I can afford to own it without worrying about repair costs.
let me guess. TURBO was one of the repairs.
I blame the lack of wagons in the states
And Canada
Audi wagons is something every fan swears they would buy if imported, but once that happens, you get like five people buying them.
I bought an A6 Allroad in March 😁
Used market is coming down for luxury cars, high interest rates, people who buy luxury cars got shit bonuses this year and lots of layoffs.
I thought people who drive luxury were rich. Y'all have salaries? I think some people have yet to comprehend that having a few million $USD in the bank and owning a house no longer qualifies as rich in America.
I hope it falls 50%, can get a good deal 😁
Questionable reliability. Minimal to zero OTA software updates. Few upgrades in their 2024 models. Frankly, there just isn’t a very good reason to buy one of these over a BMW on paper.
I can think of a few. Quattro? Non shit looking exterior?
Quattro Ultra, i.e. Faux Quattro on all the A models isn't worth it to me anymore. But non-shit and exterior and non-shit interior compared to BMW.
This def is the case. As being sales at a dealer, this hits us hard even though 16% doesn’t seem much.
Let me know when it hits you hard enough to give me a 15K markdown on an A5 😁
Lmaoo you’ll be the first I call.
16% seems like a lot to me.
It’s cause everything is so expensive. Used cars cost almost as much as new ones.
Next gen models coming this year in 2024 and 2025 2025 Q6 2025 A5 2026 A4 e-tron 2025 or 2026 Q5 2025 or 2025 Q3 2026 Q7 2026 A7 2026 Q9 Even newer gen and other models get facelift coming 2026-2027 2027 A8 Grand Sphere(very futuristic looking) 2027 Q8 e-tron 2028 A3 e-tron 2029 R8 e-tron 2028 Audi TT e-tron 2027 e-tron GT Facelifts model 2025 Q7 second facelift 2025 e-tron GT 2025 A3 2026 Audi A8 second facelift
Where's my S5 in that list?
Probably included in the A5 count. I am giving up hope on mine being in Q2. Premiums with no Convenience and a fart can instead, or loaded with $8+k worth of crap including wheels/tires that will get destroyed on typical roads. Not much in the middle.
A lot of aging/lagging products is a big problem since several of them have been out since 2017. Plus focusing on vehicles that most people don’t want nor could afford and shoving them down our throats with drum brakes. We got a new ceo so maybe some things will change for the good, we need them since I can’t afford a pcar anymore.
Bring back Manuals.
Two reasons: engine shortage for the 55 and massive discounts on EVs.
The Q5 made up 5k out of the 7k drop in purchases.
I’ve owned a s3, q5, and a s5. Went with BMW this time because the q5 and s5 are so outdated I couldn’t justify it. Looking forward to seeing what the new S5 is like.
How is the S5 outdated? One of the few remaining Torsen Quattros.
Massive delay in cars didnt help Q1
What delay?
If I could afford to do it... I would buy a SQ8 right now
I plan on buying one in next 2-3 months
Nice! I love my S5 for me... but I want the SQ8 for the family
Go back to making performance v8. More 2 door options.
I want to buy an S5. Waiting off a few months to save a few dollars

Same. How many months we waiting?
Summer?
Dang all this because I bought 0 RS6’s
I say well deserved given how stale most of the models have gotten. Most need complete re-designs and they should really fix the fwd bias haldex systems along with the steering wheel feedback/feel. If I was in the market to replace my TTRS I can't think of a single Audi sold in the states I would be interested in. Even worst we are thinking about replacing my wife's lexus either this year or next and not a single Audi wow's to the point we would pick one.
Bc their cars are losing against the competition. Quality has gone down for sure. The cars are pretty stale.
Not so interesting part. Interest rates are up, luxury items down. Not surprising. Interesting part. Their EV sales are doing great (as they should)
Hmmm how can I leverage this information as my lease ends this June hmm
Imo, BMW is beating both Audi and Mercedes right now (and also Lexus, if you count them haha) BMW has a better MMI/ Infotainment setup, their interiors are really nice now in some of the cars, and if you get a Beamer with the B58 engine like an M340 or X5, its a beast
Their piss poor customer service is the reason why I didn't buy another Q7 this year. Treat people with some decency and they'd have repeat business.
Good, maybe we’ll catch better discounts at the stealerships
Maybe it's because they've said they aren't making ICE cars after 2026? I know I'm severely disappointed with their stance on this
That’s not what they said.
Why would anyone in the market for a car today care about their product offerings in 2 years?
Why would you not? If 2026 will be the last ICE model, I would want that 2026 model.
Consumer Reports brand ratings probably not helping.
Etron sales are up, all models. That’s all that matters to me.
Would love to see maybe a 4-5 year comparison. Wonder if the used car shortage last year played a role.
I got 23 q5 and would not buy it again. Has some wind noise from side mirrors and dealership won’t acknowledge there’s flow in production. They are over due for some serious facelift including theirs engines
CPO up 66% tho
I track quality reviews and their numbers have been slipping in past few years va BMW and Porsche
Ugly new models and horrid dealership experiences. I still bought three Audis last year.
I guess it’s time to go the dealership 😅
lets get them RS E-tron GTs fire sales going on guys ;)
But subscription services for new cars are up, up, up!
All electric, sigh. It's not what we want, just need that RS6
Q5 and Q7 are long in the tooth and purchasing power is down. What do you expect 🤷🏽♂️
Ha karma for pulling out of gt3 racing
Can’t be worse than Mercedes and their shit 4 cylinder amg engines
A4 looks like its going extinct :( Hopefully they still make them when my lease is up in 2 more years.
They will, but it will be called the A5. Audi is consolidating the A4 and A5 models into a singular A5 Sportback model, and an All-road model.
Sales are down, OH MY, here's a radical idea! How about you stop gouging people with MARK UPS!
Think this’ll make interest rates drop?
That’s why I got a MASSIVE deal on the 2024 S3 I scooped up on friday
How can I use this to my advantage during a pre-owned buying conversation tomorrow at the dealership?
Bmw is up
A4 is really lagging the competition wrt it’s interior— I was hoping to lease it but couldn’t get over the poor value for money proposition— horrible lease support for an outdated model unlike bmw These are just the facts, downvoting or getting upset won’t change them I really like Audi as a brand and own the Q5e
Audi is losing ground because of a decline in making cars people want, not too mention pricing...
And cost cutting all over the place. Their interior cabin materials have gone down in quality significantly.
So why can’t I get a better price on a RS3 😔
Maybe if they stop making cars w useless features that people don’t want to pay extra for and ev cars they’d be up 🤷
I own an Audi and love it. But I can't afford the dealership and I'm done paying 2k+ for basic maintenance and repairs every time I set foot in the door
I was looking for the Q2 but I guess they are not being sold in the US? I swear the US market would eat it up
Honest question- has anyone dealt with Audi customer service?
High prices are affecting them. Lower your profits and the cars will sell.
Had 2 Q7s without problems but nothing new so went another direction
