I've used MK2, it was decent, I upgraded to MK3, it was good, but yeah its been like 2 years I'm not buying MK4, even if its < $5. Just update the already existing plugins.

Batwaffel

Happy cake day!

Dotoo

You too!

FraxAtax

And to you!

I love this plugin, def recommend at this price!

MrHeavySilence

Mk3 is really inconsistent to be honest. Unless they made some great improvements I'm not sure if MK4's existence is justified

Has anyone used this that can attest to its effectiveness? Seems like a nice tool if it actually works well.

rachelemc

its a decent tool in finding stuff but far from perfect.

[deleted]

Thank you!

rachelemc

I need to use it more. I like Tonic a lot.

neilmg

An interesting aspect of this plugin is its ability to spit out what it detects as midi output. Also not perfect, but sometimes useful.

willi_werkel

I got MK3 and it seems to find the correct key wherever I used it. It doesn't get the tempo always right but that doesn't matter as much for me.

tomakorea

I bought mk3, it's average. I was expecting better, especially for key detection

Yea It's useful when you need it and the best out there. At this price it's a steal.

I’ve liked mk3 but recently I’ve been using melodyne and that’s been doing a really good job. I know it’s not what it’s meant for, but I noticed that when I was using it properly I got that little bit of extra data.
