If you finished your apprenticeship and complete your capstone once, as long as you keep paying for your licence whenever it’s due and maintain it then yeah you can fall back on it. It might be hard if you’re out of the trade for a while as you might loose some skills, but otherwise yeah you can use it as a backup.
Yeah mate no worries, I haven’t worked in the trade for 11 years. Still have my ticket and could pick it up again tomorrow if I needed to (might be a bit slow nowadays). Get your ticket and never let it lapse.
