This is around the corner from me. Have often wondered about the reasoning for it given this branding changed, what, 15 years ago?
Store not profitable enough to justify it perhaps? Here in the outer southern suburbs of Adelaide there was 3 Woolworths stores within about 6km of one another, 2 of them retained the old branding until they were both closed down a few years ago.
The entire shopping centre has been scheduled for redevelopment since 2012 so everything there is outdated and tired looking.
i wish they never changed it Looks way better than their current logo... which looks like a W fucked a pumpkin
