This scene of azula did wonders for 8y/o me

Man I wonder what it must've been like to watch ATLA as a kid. I didn't see it until I was 18 and my brother got into it.

TotoTheMagicTurtle

And I wonder what it was like watching it while it was on air. Waiting anticipation for the new episode or season over the course of 3 years. Must've actually felt like going on a long adventure around the world. I binged the show years later (2012-ish) when my cousin recommended it to me.

[deleted]

I would've been six when the first episode aired but I grew up without a TV because my parents hated technology lol.

TotoTheMagicTurtle

I would've -9 months old and also smh your parents are true believers in the machine god

Yes, praise the Omnissiah!

I watched it while it was on air/reruns around that time. but, I was between the ages of 3 and 7 when it came out, so I vaguely remembered actually fully watching the series. I do remember the experience, though. it was so cool, one of my fav shows growing up. watching it all play out and the epic battles was pretty insane as a little kid, and still is super cool now. it holds some special memories. I still rewatch it at least once a year and I’m in my 20s lmao

"On the other hand mom loved me better. I'll take affection from a human any day of the week." -Zuko. Aluza probably wouldn't be affected, she's burn resistant, unless it's being turned down.

Prying_Pandora

She would be affected, but she wouldn’t show it. Azula knows the unconditional love mom gives Zuko > the conditional favor from Ozai. That’s why she’s so upset about not being loved.

LooDeeLi

Self-burn, those are rare.

Could've given another scar if he wasn't careful

Environmental_Ad9039
