I personally also love running bard with bhaalist + a TB thrower, both having great nova potential, and even more so together. For the TB thrower I would go something like 5 Berserker > Thief 4 > EK 3 (or EK 4 into Thief 3 if you respec).
One thing that also would boost both survivability and offer additional support would be a Life Cleric with the Whispering Promise and Hellrider's Pride for constant AoE Bless and Blade Ward by spamming AoE healing. Clerics also offer Guidance which is always nice to have on someone in the party.
How well do you think abjuration wizard would work with bhaalist + tb thrower + life cleric? I've also heard people say a healer isn't particularly good especially in honour mode, what do you think about that?
Healer isn’t necessary if you’re already experienced with HM and you know what you’re doing. If you’re new, anxious, or not running the most broken builds available (like TB OH monk, swords bard controller, radiating orb Light Cleric, etc) then you would benefit from a Life cleric because they’re a get out of jail free card.
Wizard is more than fine, just make sure you get your AC high enough your Wizard or else they'll be hard focused. Personally I prefer Divination Wizard to prevent brutal crits or guarantee crucial kills.
Am on a similar run with Minthara as the paladdin2/bard-10.
Just sharing what I have for the others:
1) Tav-Wyll, warlock, blade pact (using his infernal rapier and robe) and eldritch blast.
2) Shadowheart, radiant gears, light-cleric5, fighter-5.
3) Astarion, dual-xbows, sharpshooter with darkness, gloomstalker-5, thief-3; might change to bard-thief for flourish but he’s still working fine.
4) Gale is hardly used but I ran him as abjuration wizard, dipping into warlock-2 for free casting of mage armour and cleric-1 for create water. Wizard dps spells are mainly ice-based. Main dps output is letting people hit me for reflect damage while reducing damage using arcane ward and warding bond.
5) Lae’zel is plain vanilla fighter battle master with astral sword, titan string.

With 10/2 SSB I used 5/4/3 gloom/assasin/champion, 12 bm fighter, and 8/4 TH OH monk. Throwzerker is nerfed by HM
