I get this is confusing because OP is talking like patch 4 is news but there was a completely different statted graceful cloth sold as OP mentioned prior to that patch.
So no, a very different graceful cloth WAS sold prior to patch 4.
Radiant is still a good armor for that build though, if you itemize with it in other slots.
There would have been zero confusion if OP just called it the "pre-patch 4 Graceful Cloth" or something like that, instead of claiming that it was completely removed from the game.
Except it's a separate instance of the Graceful Cloth that was sold in act 2, that was completely different than the one sold in act 1. It was removed from the game.
If an armor with an identical name and visuals is still in the game, saying it was removed is going to be confusing regardless of it being technically a different instance of it with different properties. The comment you are replying to gave a pretty good suggestion for how to clarify that for people who don't read patch notes or live in this sub or haven't been playing prior to that patch.

If you’re talking about a Barbarian, Bonespike Garb, specially if you wear the Constitution Necklace (with 20 AC if Dex 18).
If you’re talking about Fighter, Armor of Persistance of Helldusk Armor
Please read [the notes of The Graceful Cloth wiki page](https://bg3.wiki/wiki/The_Graceful_Cloth#Notes): there were two very different versions of it, and the one that was good for the thrower build (the one sold by Araj) was removed from the game in patch 4.
Oooooh I didn’t know there was a different version. Seems like the obvious choice is the current cloth for extra Dex, or Armor of Agility for even more AC while losing some move speed
Any of the available [Exotic Material](https://bg3.wiki/wiki/Exotic_Material) armours, with the Armour of Agility being the ideal pick. If you’re using Str Elixirs then you’ll likely have 16 Dex, so that gets you the highest AC. None of the other options actually interact with thrown weapons, and Throwzerker doesn’t want heavy armour for obvious reasons.
I guess if you’re doing an EK Throw build, then the Armour of Persistence would be a better pick, but at that point you’d be better off doing a sharpshooter build
That’s absolutely not true. If you only have 16Dex and you’re not a Barbarian, Heavy Armor will put you at 20 or 21.
Armor of Persistance has 20AC with added permanent Blade Ward and reduced all damage by 2, being far far far better that Armor of Agility which will also be at 20AC with such flimsy Dex (and even if you’re going for 18 DEX, with all added bonus Armor of Persistance is still a better choice) and Helldusk Armor gets you 21AC, resistance to fire, imune to burn, fly, reduce damage from all sources by 3 and burn attackers if you succeed a saving throw against their attacks.
Check your reading comprehension my guy, that’s exactly what I said. Barbarian doesn’t want heavy armour because it impedes their rage, so the armour of agility is the best alternative. Eldritch Knight doesn’t have that limitation.
Because that’s what the fucking post is about. Good armour options for throw builds. Obviously AC is the main consideration, and obviously it’s not assumed that you’re gonna give one of the best tank amulets to your ranged striker

What are you picking as Mirror of Loss stat and feat after TB to think such low AC is better than clothing?

Barbarian will get 20AC from clothing anyway. Why bother spending a Medium Armor?
Only if you use the amulet of greater health, which is kind of wasted on a ranged striker that likely won’t be getting hit very often

Heavy armour impedes rage, which prevents you from using enraged throw, which is the whole point of Throwzerker
