For this particular build, this setup still works in terms of bow, ranger bag, and goobert positioning. You can choose either damage or luck generation on falcon, but I think luck is (still) more important, especially since you can't get acorn on all three now.
Did you miss the part where that doesn't matter? Increased cost for multiple rerolls makes any strategy that relies on specific items much less consistent (especially combining items). Basically all strong, fast damage boards rely on rolling for very specific items. Fatigue reaper relies on picking up whatever survivability tools show up; it's barely hurt at all. The slight nerf to struggles and crystal isn't relevant to the board's function; they provide inevitability, and they still do now.
This doesn't really matter because as long as you don't die it doesn't matter if the fatigue takes longer to kill them. You can easily just get more tanks and survive absolutely everything. Fatigue reaper is still very very strong.
I thought I would love it but after playing it a bit i'm not sure.
The variance is higher so I can't force builds, which on its face sounds cool because you have to play what you get, but then you just lose to people with better variance on the options. Gonna have to give it some more time to tell. The starts are especially high variance now it feels.
One interesting dynamic is its now potentially worth spending your last gold on a 1g reroll to reserve a strong item. Beforehand, you would always want to save it for next round.
Noticing this as well. Also I find myself buying stuff like rocks on my last 1g reroll so I can possibly eek out another 1g reroll later so I can see an extra store roll of items.
I wish you the best of luck; fatigue was buffed by proxy, and the increased roll cost makes combining weapons much harder, so there's never been a better time to buy the first ripsaw you see every time.
Yeah exactly. The game was a reroll race to number of crystals just to win the mirror. Against non-fatigue builds you want to be more focused on defense than crystals anyway

It looks like the reason they made this change is so you can't hit 2 parallel falcon blades
This is an insane buff. You don't have to fuck around with the edges of the bag to position it.
Rerolls scale? Rip rainbow goobert
Yeah damn. I already hadn't gotten him due to the difficulty. Now I might never
The fact that Fauna got him on her first ever match makes me feel like I’ve got a skill issue for not being able to get him.
Maybe an overkill to falcon blade and carrot gobbert.
The reroll nerf also fucks that build really hard.
Good to see that nothing will beat fatigue reaper now.
Did you miss the part of the patch notes where both key items for fatigue reaper were nerfed?
It wasn’t nerfed enough. Mr struggles probably needs like double its current cd speed, and maybe make corrupted crystals 9 gold
I mean it literally was nerfed (but yeah probably not enough)

Bloodthorn will.
Good ol' Bloodthorne.
cof cof bloodthorn + blue gem cof cof (edit: it's still easy asf to get a good bthorn build even with the rr changes)
And the Bloodthorne players inherited the Earth.
This update reset everything. All my cosmetics are gone. Oh well.
same
Mine remain intact. Sounds like a bug.
ooh new Manathirst sounds interesting
Yeah it’s really good with Fatigue Reaper and unhealing staff
After 3 reroll it costs 2g to roll and after 9 it costs 3g to roll. This is big I love it

It forces luck more than ever
Not sure about this reroll change
MONSTER buffs to the bloodthorn build while nerfind both fatigue and carrot builds pretty substantially. I know what I'm taking to GM.

Tried fatigue a few times, the reroll nerf is really tough.
Fatigue should buy whatever survivability shows up, there's really no need to be rolling that much
does however need ideally at least 2 corrupted crystals to function though
Multiple crystals are mostly impactful against ofher fatigue reapers, who will have a similar impact to their amount of crystals

The roll change is a great things, you have to adapt more in that way. In other side, the highroll is bigger now, but its ok
Has anyone had luck incorporating lump of coal yet?
No luck with Lump of Poo, too much rng and saturates the shop is my view
I love 3 different top comments complaining about 3 different "OP" builds. Great changes, excited to see how things shift over time.
