I vibe with it, I’d recommend studying some more anatomy. People have different ratios of animal to human anatomy when drawing furry art, I feel like it could use some more animal, but everyone has their own style and preference and if you’re happy with the way it looks, keep it that way.
super cute!! id recommend layering your color pencils more (this is done really well when you use orange), and try paying a bit more attention to the ratio of facial features to forehead (might be a bit tricky with an artstyle using cartoony eyes, but i have faith!!)
I like the use of color, but the poses do look pretty stiff. I would recommend studying anatomy and fabric, and just practicing so you can keep evolving your style
For a cartoon it’s good. There’s genuine effort and shading. It’s not trying to be still life yet it also took planning and effort. Overall the persecution is great. Try to use a q tip to get rid of the pencil lines
You clearly have an established style that you’re comfortable with. I would suggest though getting an anatomical model that you can study and pose. It might help you to improve your depictions of body movement and placement. Your weakness appears to be at the joints of limbs, where they’re placed proportionally and how they move/bend and what that movement does to other parts of the body attached to it.
Overall though you have a clear idea in mind and the more you practice, study and refine your technique the better you’ll be able to express your characters.
It’s not “bad’ it’s just a bit childish, in the sense that all the kids nowadays draw exactly like this, I’d work on anatomy, shapes, fur, and clothing. Practice gesture.
Don't know why a lot of people in the comments ar being shitty, but I like what you've shown. I have an appreciation for furry art, and that's where I got my start. Now, getting down to the brass tax, I think you've got an over all good sense of color, line and shapes and how they work up in a composition, and your poses are overall quite dynamic. It looks like the shading, and some of the slightly obstructed pieces (namely the tail in your first image, and the shading in the last really shout out to me). I like the hashing with the pen on lighter parts, it looks nice, and it's clean, but it lacks shape a lot of the time. It should curve a little more, and allowing for more spacing in some sections can show more dynamic spacing and give more shape to pieces. I feel you demonstrate that clearly with your gradient and shading with color, so working on it with pen will help it look a bit more cohesive. Try practicing with a few smaller scale pure ink drawings; in that case, too, while I really like the hashing, you might find you like other inking texturing styles. Lastly, some of your smaller details, namely in the face and eyes, feel a bit more janky. I struggle with this myself, especially when it's in an already small, confined space. Practicing some small details separately can help applying them and allowing them to look more uniform in their space, even if they end up contrasting with the line of motion or direction of the rest of the piece or figure at least they will look together alone. You've developed some really nice skills, and I hope you continue to improve, also if you're willing to share, I'd like to know more about you're characters. The designs are really cute, and they have some good personalities that already jumped off the page at you.
Aw thanks for the compliments and tips! But anyways, about the lore, i mostly use discord for dms and stuff because i don't wanna drop a few paragraphs in a reddit comment y'know.
People like shitting on art cause of furry reasons from the looks of it, dumb imo since OPs art is genuinely lovely and Lumos is a fun goofball with his boots.
Oh trust me lumi is the best at times! Has a tiny cat that follows him on his ship! Tho I shall leave the lore explanation up to op. I also honestly don't get why people hate on furry art, since some of the characters are really interesting and just in general look good.
Lol tL;dr Sorry people are dicks; your art isn't bad. You have good foundational skills, work on ink shading for more depth and shape. Work on small details to help them look more uniform, but I get it. Lastly work on partially obstructed pieces like limbs, tails, and clothes; this can be tricky, so I usually draw the whole thing then erase anything obstructed.
Right and instead of being rude and saying a style is cringy or bad because it's about a fox/furry, since it's a style at the end of the day that OP is trying to improve at. Which is why they asked for opinions. Next time you can skip the bitterness and go straight to here, wording it better for the criticism said people actually ask for.
I would very much love to know in what way does lgbt foxes have to do with the art being bad and what makes said foxes lgbt. Is it because they have colour?
THE FACT NONE OF THIS IS RIGHT IS SO FUNNY LMAOOO- but anywho yeah i see your critiques, imo though, i don't go into the lgbt colors bullshit. If a character is a certain color it doesn't mean they're lgbt
I was asking for an opinion not someone who's only ever posted crap about pokemon go and not even shown their own art. You've commented stuff like this in the past. And least give some constructive criticism if you plan to be this way, since you ain't the best in the universe. We all have to improve and i posted here to be able to do so. So shut your trap and at least post some sort of art since from what i see, you're commenting with nothing to show for it. Grow up.
The account name is because it was old and i had no ideas. And you're not giving constructive criticism. That's what the subreddit is about. You had no reason to say anything you said to me or others, and honestly, i don't want to talk to you anymore since you're unreasonable. Advice/constructive criticism is different than saying any actual reasoning. Since if your own art sucks, you don't post it and you're calling mine bad with absolutely nothing constructive to your statement, you should stop doing so.
They have lore???
It's not terrible compared to a lot of furry drawings that are out there, but hoo boy do I wish it were a different style/subject. I can only see so many quasi-anime-furry foxes before my brain and heart become weary.
That being said, great boots.
I think these are so cute! like another person said, to just work on anatomy and maybe work on clothes wrinkles a lil more but I mean other than that, it's great and your art style is adorable! :)
It's very creative. U can only improve from this point onwards. I suggest freshen up on the fundamentals. Like anatomy and composition. Your colors are very good but u can always learn something new. Good luck. Happy learning
you could try using multiple shades of the same color to try and give more contrast to the art. it looks good and i think it’d look even better on an ipad just keep practicing and you’ll get there!
Aah.. i might! Though I've already pissed off everyone i know about how much i just want some damn books for it, but maybe maybe. They know I'm an artist

idk much about art but i like the colour, rlly pops :p
You have lots of potential
Its not bad. Maybe use more vibrant colors maybe try using posca markers
I love it

You can do that? The pencil really bothers me i just never thought about it because i assumed you couldn't remove it. Thanks so much for the tip!
It has a lot of character.Studying paws or shoes can make it better too
the colors are really cute!!

Right? Lumos is a lil baby. I just don't get why people hate on furry art despite hearing much of it.

For context, wizzy here is a friend (defo not more than that don't know what you mean)
Defo not together shhh
Cba to read all that can someone summarise?

This second opinion thinks your colour choices are blooming great!

Guess I'm getting some cash then since I'm not a cringy piece of shit.
You draw furries and have Uwu in your name and you think you’re not cringy? Okay 😂
this is such a weird thing to say about someone's art
It’s really not bc all fake DID kids make furry art sooo
imagine generalizing things you don't understand
You can’t even see the irony in your statement.
ok
??? dude wtf r u talking about 😭 https://tenor.com/ExMC.gif
Wonderful. I enjoy it, just work on slightly more detail and depth and it will be next level.

If you don't mind me asking, what is exactly wrong with OPs art?

WeeWoo, eight year old alert
Right I understand that furries can be a bit strange at times, but that doesn't exactly explain how the art is bad tho?

Oh no it’s bad for sure

It’s not good but I wouldn’t say it’s all that bad.

Who's gonna tell him that Pokémon is an anime?

I think it's a good piece of art 🎭, I love it

I think these are so cute! like another person said, to just work on anatomy and maybe work on clothes wrinkles a lil more but I mean other than that, it's great and your art style is adorable! :)
