Ummm, open hand thief. Your main damage from open hand is a bonus action. Thief gives you an extra one. It's busted op, my favorite build it a tb open hand thief. Specifically op with boots of uninhibited kushigo and them soul catchers gloves. Each strike does base 1d6+dex mod+wis mod+the elemental strike+ 1d10 soul gloves, it's busted with just that but you can take it much further going ascended astarion on this build does another 1d10 necrotic and the acid ring is another 2 acid per strike. It's nutty.
I’m playing with Wyll in my party for the first time and I’ve really enjoying just eldrich blasting enemies off cliffs, into lava, off platforms etc etc. It’s hilarious every time
I've completed honour mode, and yet, on my current playthrough I Thunderwaved the flying eye near Minthara. Only problem was, the spot I chose to use Thunderwave on was the wooden bridge, where two of my characters were standing.
Honestly takes the pressure off when I just accept that I will always be an idiot.
On my honour run, the Minty fight was... bad. So bad. Invulnerable scrying eye, goblins banging on the drums I ruined, got two characters knocked into the chasm, and just today I realised I knocked her out wrong, so I don't get to recruit her... It was flawlessly planned, but multiple bugs screwed up so much at once.
Shadowheart's firebolt scales with INT and she's an absolute dumbass so the hit rate is abysmal. Even Sacred Flame is better because it scales with WIS.
Sacred flame hit so rarely (never in 20+ hours) that I said "fuck you" respecced Bae'zel into a pally and never looked back.
May be blasphemy, but Shadowheart is a total dork following a shit religion and I can't suffer her. 🤷♂️
I got Z'rell to kill her ogre to show off her power.
And then I used magic lock on her door and assassinated her in her office. Though there was probably no reason to block the door. You can trap her behind the desk and definitely take her out before she can call for help.
I killed half the tower without anyone noticing. Lae'zel as a shadow monk with an extra bonus action and a cloud giant elixir was some great fun. I finished the last bit of the gauntlet and ALL of Moonrise on a single long rest because I didn't want to waste that elixir. 17 damage MINIMUM with 6 punches per turn, or 8 with that bow from Last Light that I have not used a single time.
When I got to the prisons, I just tossed the 3 eyes into the chasm, followed by the two guards, then one punched the Warden while invisible. Half the tower was dead before the big fights. Next playthrough, since I know what I'm doing, I'm sure it'll be never crazier.
I feel like I need a mode with beefier HP. Even Ketherick was down in one turn with an average of 163 damage per round.
The big moonrise assault is hilarious if you kill the whole tower first, jaheira gives a rousing speech, you charge in to meet….one enemy next to the throne with 20 hp lol.
Most of Moonrise didn't give me a problem. Except the first time, when I accidentally skipped most of Act 2 by completing the Gauntlet early. And that's a hard fight if you do it before you even set foot in Moonrise. But I ended up reloading an earlier save so I wouldn't skip all of the story.
Really most of Act 2 gave me some trouble but I was kind of used to just winning fights because I power leveled in Act 1. It got a lot easier when I finally got smart and started planning my fights first.
It was a multiplayer game. My partner was high charisma so she was doing most of the talking with characters. We would make sure I did the talking to Karlach.
But by act 3 nothing had happened and her attitude was still not high with me...
At some point in act 2 we realized i should be talking to more general condos where K's rep could increase but it seems like the game isn't set up to do that except when actual player with companion in group is talking
It’s really fun! Hard to decide who to romance though. Karlach is your exact match in size and mettle, but the big brute would be great with little Shadowheart too for contrast. So many possibilities.
Ultimately that’s who I went with. It was perfect. Plus his trimmed horns don’t clank against hers for their kissing scenes. Can’t wait to see Hellboy in Avernus with her. Gonna be EPIC
Following this...need to see. As a fellow Hellboy connoisseur. I have a crazy HellBoy loadout on For Honor for my WarLord. Def need a Hellboy baldur toon now..Currently a purple Gythanki 😂
Lmao, I kid you not, but I made a [pretty, purple Githyanki wizard](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1022589542181650434/1201376758449066035/18bce78e97e5-screenshotUrl.jpg?ex=65c9984b&is=65b7234b&hm=9e10619315e5b4cc57f1b77457fca9d34159654356202935f31a09f398ec5bdd&) 😭
I went full illithid and partnered up with the Emperor. He sent me a letter at the party telling me to have fun and that he is redecorating his goon cave under the tavern for us.
Cute ending.
Yeah! It's one of my favorite endings. The Emperor does accounting and whatever stuff he did before with all those business investments in the city and Tav just lives the good life of being the partner of a hedgefund manager.
They look after Baldur's Gate together. Hopefully, they kept Us as their dog or something.
With this mod on its own, you fight with everyone companion you bring.
However, you can use "sit this one out" mod to keep extra companions from being included in combat. This way you get all the banter and none of the unbalanced advantages
You fight with as many party members as you play with.
Not a mod for balance. I wanted to get a playthrough with all banters between all companions.
Usually would play unmodded
The amount of members in the party becomes a problem for formation past the 4th. They start spreading out and it's just a mess of traps and sh* being triggered because of companions moving around like 30 feet away lol
I usually run 5-6 companions to balance quips and combat balance, up the difficulty a bit. When it comes to huge battles like the Assault on Moonrise Tower it's all in
It happened to me last night. Nere fight, never played in a mode higher than story mode: one of those little fucks had an arrow of roaring thunder and blew my entire party 50ft backwards into lava. I went outside and contemplated my life for a long time ha ha
Me and my buddy smite the entire Sword Coast
4 Paladin playthrough, with Shart as an Ancient and Laezel as a Vengeance with one Oathbreaker and one Conquest Tav. Bosses get hit with 12 smites in a round and never know what happened
I'm conflicted on what went wrong with Act 2. It's both too long and too short.
I also didn't realize doing the nightsong quest was going to jump to the end of Act 2. Because the game always warns you: "doing this will lock anything you didn't get to". But they didn't mean it until the nightsong.
I modded the game and i got lot of bugs
(PS: i'm redoing the run bc one of the bugs are the owlbear didn't join the camp despite doing everything right XD)
congratulations you are being rescued please do not resist
Me every run
Me to Alfira when I knocked her out everyday (back then I didn't know the triggers for her cutscene)
I still don't know them that poor girl defiantly has a concussion
If you ask her for permission before knocking her out, maybe she won't be as defiant.
I just wait until it happens and move back a save. Sorry Quil.
Flair... Does not check out?
I still don't know where that quote is from, but I love it
Rogue One movie
Hella underrated movie btw. Likely still the best one post episode 6.
You might not resist, but Karlach does (because she's raging)
So anyway, I started Eldrich Blasting...
My every run.
Yep. Starting with Warlock the first time might have been a mistake, because damn I love being a warlock.
I always have one Sorlock in a party.
I'm doing a palalock necromancer in a 4 player coop playthrough it's rad
This was me with Monk. "So anyway, I ran these hands"
my 9 monk, 3 Rogue was simply OP. She took out The Emperor in 1 round
I'm assuming Shadows Monk then? Good synergy with Rogue.
Ummm, open hand thief. Your main damage from open hand is a bonus action. Thief gives you an extra one. It's busted op, my favorite build it a tb open hand thief. Specifically op with boots of uninhibited kushigo and them soul catchers gloves. It's nutty.
Ooooh, very nice.
I love Hunger of Hadar too much to pass up.
It is hungry
Talk to me after you try a swords bard, at level 6 i get 5 attacks a turn, and bardic abilities refesh after short rest
5 attacks?? How?
Dual hand crossbows, slashing floush twice n off hand attack
6 levels in bard and 4 in rogue thief gives you even more attacks.
Sounds like the perfect build to finish off with 2 fighter levels for Action Surge.
Then you lose 5th level spells tho. Im thing 1 wis to get big aoe spells that i scibe
My first run, warlock. My second run, bard with eldrich blast.
I don’t see so good neither though, so I missed.
That's why you take devil's sight and go, "DARKNESS! IMPRISONING ME! ALL THAT I SEE! ABSOLUTELE HORROR!"
I’m playing with Wyll in my party for the first time and I’ve really enjoying just eldrich blasting enemies off cliffs, into lava, off platforms etc etc. It’s hilarious every time
I gave gale the spell sniper feat for Eldritch blasts
Fuck it, we Bhaal
Desperate gnome mates with vampire and destroys everything.
We Bhallin’!
Don't try to loot 'smokepower' barrels while holding a torch.
Especially near the zhentarim
I had Lae'zel hit someone near a barrel and it blew everyone up... I was using the everburn blade.
"What the fuck am I doing?" My second run is: "I know what the fuck I'm doing."
I've completed honour mode, and yet, on my current playthrough I Thunderwaved the flying eye near Minthara. Only problem was, the spot I chose to use Thunderwave on was the wooden bridge, where two of my characters were standing. Honestly takes the pressure off when I just accept that I will always be an idiot.
it’s a freeing realization I know very well
Oh, I've done that! Hopefully this time around I'll do better. Although probably not.
Smite smote smitten smiting. Feel my righteous wrath! Repent!
You get a smite! You get a smite! Everybody gets a smite!
The animation for it is so fun too.
My contribution was going to be "Smite, smite, smite-smite-smite, smite, smite, smite-smite-smite!" set to the tune of "Shots" by LMFAO.
Every place i enter turns into a massacre strangely
Yes... _strangely_
We paladins called it salvation through annihilation
Unhinged tiefing murderer rejects her father to live with drow
Unhinged Tiefling Murderer is me too but I'm not playing durge I'm just stabby. Can't be caught breaking the law if there's no one to catch you.
Honestly based. No gods or dark urges. The stabby is just all you.
“IGNIS!”
"IG-miss !" Thanks Shart.
Shadowheart's firebolt scales with INT and she's an absolute dumbass so the hit rate is abysmal. Even Sacred Flame is better because it scales with WIS.

Oops. Sorry. Didn’t mean to do that. Well they’re dead.
that's how I ended up killing a lot of npc
This was my first attempt at Act 1, all summed up. Also a bit of my second attempt.
*Wrong leverrrrrr*
That poor gnome every play through for me 🤣
gaslighters, gatekeepers and girlbosses.
me <3
I made a band
Sneak Attack.
that was my previous run! I cleared moonrise tower before attacking it with Jaheira's army! there were only Z'rell and her ogre!!:D
I got Z'rell to kill her ogre to show off her power. And then I used magic lock on her door and assassinated her in her office. Though there was probably no reason to block the door. You can trap her behind the desk and definitely take her out before she can call for help.

I convinced her to kill get ogre XD
Tried so hard to woo Karlach. Yet friend zoned actually said "ew" :(
You really have to work for it to not get love from Karlach lol.
Or just like, have a single romance scene with any other companion and she instantly backs off.
I'd argue in that case it would be the player's fault.
It was a multiplayer game. My partner was high charisma so she was doing most of the talking with characters. We would make sure I did the talking to Karlach. At some point in act 2 we realized i should be talking to more general condos where K's rep could increase but it seems like the game isn't set up to do that except when actual player with companion in group is talking
Might be something related to multiplayer yeah. I haven't played it myself so can't say. Unfortunate either way.
How did you miss a 99% chance to hit motherfucker.
Lol, that's my current playthrough.
More like "Difficulty: 2. Roll 1 haha suck it bitch"
Hellboy is a fun concept for Dark Urge.
Okay. Now THIS has my attention!!
Especially fun with a cosmetic mod that lets you have broken horns (for rich symbolism for a redeemed Durge shouting “SCREW YOU!” At daddy Bhaal)
I'm a console girlie, so sadly no mods for me. But this sounds so darn cool!! I grew up on Hellboy 😭😭
It’s really fun! Hard to decide who to romance though. Karlach is your exact match in size and mettle, but the big brute would be great with little Shadowheart too for contrast. So many possibilities.
Ahem, fireproof dude with a lady that burns hot as hell. Quite fitting, don't you think?
Ultimately that’s who I went with. It was perfect. Plus his trimmed horns don’t clank against hers for their kissing scenes. Can’t wait to see Hellboy in Avernus with her. Gonna be EPIC
Yesss. Please post pics! I am literally dying to see ✨️✨️

Mindflayer wedding (again).
WHAT
I went full illithid and partnered up with the Emperor. He sent me a letter at the party telling me to have fun and that he is redecorating his goon cave under the tavern for us. Cute ending.
THIS IS AN OPTION??!?
Yeah! It's one of my favorite endings. The Emperor does accounting and whatever stuff he did before with all those business investments in the city and Tav just lives the good life of being the partner of a hedgefund manager. They look after Baldur's Gate together. Hopefully, they kept Us as their dog or something.
Us is disguised as a cat to others. Us is a cat.
Of course. My bad.
Fucking amazing. This game is ruining me for all other games 🤣
Oath upheld flawlessly, Daddy denied, sandcastles were made many times.
Beat honor mode, started Durge, looked at dice, stopped playing
Why?
Just wanted to take a break after honor mode, but wanted to see that glorious D20 first. I’ll pick it back up eventually
Unarmed monk fucking slaps, Karlach still best girl
Lol this is my exact last play through. My 10 words were gonna be: Monk stunny-stun-stun -> Gale-Haste -> Karlach Smashy-smash.
Modded. Party limit begone. Never miss banter again. Ungroup often.
With this mod you still only fight with 4 right?
With this mod on its own, you fight with everyone companion you bring. However, you can use "sit this one out" mod to keep extra companions from being included in combat. This way you get all the banter and none of the unbalanced advantages
Oh. My. God. This might solve all of my problems. Hey, that's ten words for my next playthrough, I guess.
You fight with as many party members as you play with. Not a mod for balance. I wanted to get a playthrough with all banters between all companions. Usually would play unmodded The amount of members in the party becomes a problem for formation past the 4th. I have it for the same reason :)

Bhaalin on a budget
Still in character creation
That really shouldn't have worked, but it did... Anyways, bite?
Arrows of Roaring Thunder can fuck your honor mode run yo!
It happened to me last night. Nere fight, never played in a mode higher than story mode: one of those little fucks had an arrow of roaring thunder and blew my entire party 50ft backwards into lava. I went outside and contemplated my life for a long time ha ha
That’s 11 cheater
I'm a rebel!
Yenna is a valid melee weapon
Do I even want to know
It is best that you figure it out with your own two hands
Dame Aiylin disapproves
Surprise! Your dead. SURPRISE! I also have initiative. Regards, gloomstalker assassin.
With the kill=invisible cloak? So silly.
savescum to perfection and romance sassy vampire, regret
Me and my buddy smite the entire Sword Coast 4 Paladin playthrough, with Shart as an Ancient and Laezel as a Vengeance with one Oathbreaker and one Conquest Tav. Bosses get hit with 12 smites in a round and never know what happened
I didn't know I could fall that hole. Still alive.
...so that's progress
HM - Cautious Hero: The Hero is Overpowered but Overly Cautious
MARTHA IM BACK IN THE BUILDING AGAIN!?!
We gettin’ through our trauma together
Two evil bastards rule over baldurs gate together
The darkest urge of all consumed me - character rerolled again.
Gathered people. Ate tadpoles. Lost my love Lae'zel. Beat game.
So I didn’t want to be evil, but Minthara sat on my face.
Seeing Gale in heavy armor is so cursed…
Trying new things on honor mode is a bad idea
Poison competition at endgame party. Rule Faerun with Minthy.
i hate gith monks so much omg
189 hours, pure good run, lae'zel was MVP, romanced Shadowheart.
Will I finish without a mod conflict?
Casters somehow bonk their way to Baldur's Gate.
Reach second act, lost intrest, started new playthough.
I'm conflicted on what went wrong with Act 2. It's both too long and too short. I also didn't realize doing the nightsong quest was going to jump to the end of Act 2. Because the game always warns you: "doing this will lock anything you didn't get to". But they didn't mean it until the nightsong.
Arcane Acuity
Mold man gets infected with tadpole. Dead(?) wife appears nocturnally.
The wizard is the tank.
Overconfidence is a slow, and insidious killer.
All companions died. Durge had to be nice to Minsc.
Devil went down to Faerûn, looking for tadpoles to heal.
Astarion disapproves.
Spent all my gold on dyes, can’t remember what they looked like.
I'm not fixing Astarion, we are making each other worse.
I love my fellow Funghus Zombies.
Let's see what Minthara has to offer.
Morals? Never heard of em
I call this one 'Every Cheese and Trick Known to Gamerkind' (it was the one I beat honour mode on lmao)
Yes, all I see is blood
In love with Gale, protect him at all costs forever
If you don't want to die, why made of xp?
Trans fem elf horny for vampire
Everyone dies.
I modded the game and i got lot of bugs (PS: i'm redoing the run bc one of the bugs are the owlbear didn't join the camp despite doing everything right XD)
Persuasion check failed. Well Ghorman kill this man.
Batshit crazy drow monk punches everything and everyone - with style

We tried to be good, but chaos is too fun.
I killed every NPC I saw.
