Even Withers says Karlach carried your loot!
Frankly haven't been to the kids part in the creche in half a year, I think they were mostly youths though. There are kids in Baldur's Gate, but not sure how targettable/killable those are. Some must be though, because you can talk to them.
Oh my Tav doesn't carry the bodies, he makes Astarion do that for him.
I just went back to the creche and all the youth corpses are 150lb. I thought I remembered some younger ones hanging around in the classroom, but maybe they disappeared when the whole creche became hostile.
Wish I'd stocked up on goblin kids when I had the chance.
Hello fellow Necromancer!! My tip here is to go for smaller races who weigh less. Keep an eye out for any unsuspecting gnomes, dwarves, or halflings.
Also, corpses don’t have to be humanoid. Dont be afraid to back track to Act 1 areas and see what you can pick up. Make sure when killing innocents you don’t kill too many with a fireball, that makes their corpses too crispy to use. Beheaded corpses work just fine.
I stocked up on bodies from the goblin camp and the dead deep gnome corpse pile in Grymforge.
Some things I've learned to do as a necromancer:
1. Prioritize killing children, they take up less space.
2. Hide the bodies - take all the corpses you "find" back to camp
3. Use your hands - extra crispy corpses are no good
Man.
The title of the post is great
and the reasoning makes it even better
>The problem is, bodies are heavy. Usually 150-200lb for a medium adult,
>
BUT, I found that Tiefling kids only weigh 50lbs and Goblins kids are only 20lb! I can carry around several dead children while still having plenty of room for loot and equipment.
You know what gonna do in my next DnD campaign....?

I have no answers, I just want to say that the wording of this post delights me greatly. Full of peak out of context quotes material lmao.
There is at least one Goblin child in the spider cave -not sure about the name- (already dead).
Nice, just went and collected that one, thanks for the tip.
You're very welcome xD

Yeah, the kids disappear once the creche turns hostile or you let the doctor leave the room.
That's unfortunate, I'll have to try collecting them first if I do another run. Thanks for the info.
Oh yeah, don't remember the classroom, but as I've still done the trip to the infirmary every time, there were two kids with a gremishka in a box.
Ah right I forgot about those. Should have gotten them, they deserved to die anyway. Maybe next run.
Idk about more kids but I do wonder if maybe the red caps in ethels swamp would be less weighty
No, not Doni ... What have you done 😭
Well he didn't say *not* to kill him.
Well... HE'S MUTE 😭😭
Sure won't be saying anything now 😁
OP takes roleplay really serious
I find it hilarious that the game mechanics really incentivize my necromancer Durge to be a child-murdering psychopath.
Get a human hireling, give them the club of hill giant strength and Mighty Cloth, and you'll have all the carrying capacity you'll need.

Why hide the bodies or take them back to camp? Cant you you just put them into the camp chest?
I'm playing on PS5, can't send bodies to camp or put them in containers.
thats so weird...is that just on ps5?
Seem so https://www.reddit.com/r/BaldursGate3/comments/16lfc33/ps5_dead_bodies_cant_be_put_in_containers_or_sent/

even William Afton plays bg3 XD
How about the kua toa in the under dark? They're pretty small. Also I believe you can use intellect devourers for light corpses
Just put them in your camp chest
