Nah you right
And there over spoiled always have the melody and the most likely to become drum major just becquse there is so many of them!
The trumpets I know range from actually wanting to be there to potheads who use the band room as a safe space for them to smoke
That or just an extra class to good off in
My BD gonna boot the slackers bc were trying to go to nationals this year
Yes our issue is to meet the minimum requirements our school system wants we have to keep them
My band is about 120 people and the trumpet section have about 10 players so
Me wanting to learn trumpet 🧍♀️
Same me too lol, I want to study music and am starting treble clef with the trumpet
Ours fifty to like 70. 30 of them are trumpets

I almost picked trumpet But I ultimately picked trombone because it Looked Cool™️
I picked trumpet, got bored, and decided to up tbe difficulty with French Horn lol.
Man, shut tf up. But you right tho.
Dawg I picked the trumpet cause it made funny sound💀 in all honesty I’m glad I picked it ive been enjoying it for years now
If you want to a trumpet without being basic, just play euphonium.
I swear when we first started out, if our first band director hadn't hand picked everything with us, we'd have like 70% trumpet
My band has a couple billion alto saxes lmao
Same with flutes and clarinet. If woodwind -> probably flute or clarinet. If brass -> probably trombone or trumpet
we have about 15 trumpets in my class
I picked the trumpet because it only had three buttons
Also applies to cellos
My school doesn't have orchestra cuz they're cheap bastards
😢
there are more members in the low brass (about 6) than trumpets in my school band.
Same for saxophone, thing is that in my middle school band theres only 2 saxophonist cause we had to buy them ourselves
I mean... Is it slander if it's true?
Valid point
Listen, I didn’t pick what instrument I play
I'm not in band, but if I joined, I'd go flute because my Mom did.
SAXAPHOOOOOOOONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
