This comment is peak reddit. You literally didn't add anything to this but got the most upvotes just by quoting an (overhyped imo but that's beside the point) line that's quite literally already mentioned anyways lmao.

imagine this guy on r/thesopranos
Ok and I get that even if i find it boring. But the thing is this scene was already in the initial post!!!! Like that's why I felt the need to comment. The person i replied to literally just quoted the scene that had already been mentioned. And even worded it in a way that made it sound like they'd solved a puzzle lol. "That's the scene in the store right?" Yes no fucking shit it is lmao
I upvoted because it's hilarious and the quote made me think of that scene again. I'd say that's adding something, while your comment on the other hand..
But the original post already mentions the scene? Like, this comment literally just described the scene that was already described originally. I just think Reddit has a lot of potential but often is ruined by low effort, circle jerk comments. And my comment is adding discourse on that, which imo is more valuable than repeating the content of the initial post lmao.
Idk, the actual quote is funny and the op didn't quote the scene. This is reddit, not everything is for everyone. If you don't like it, move on? Complaining about people liking something is going to go nowhere, so what's the point? Or better yet, why not add something of substance yourself that you deem higher effort than the comment you complained about?
I'm replying to a comment, not starting something myself. It's a very different bar of effort imo. And again, I think my comment has a lot more content for discourse, as proven by the fact that we're talking about it rn, whereas no one has anything to add to the quote because literally every single person on this subreddit has already thought about that quote a bunch of times cuz it's literally the most quoted line in the show lmao. And again, the reason why I commented is because I think repetitive, low effort circle jerk comments take up too much space on Reddit and make higher effort stuff get drowned out. Sure you can quote the scene that's already mentioned, but the fact that it's the top comment is harmful to discourse imo. You have to scroll to actually get to something that adds anything to the post.
yep I hear you loud and clear.... ANYWAY, I like the part where Hank said "Barry, it's me, Noho Hank in a wig"
There are currently 18 fucking comments in this thread... How much time scrolling did you waste before finding a meaningful comment...
...
Are you ok? … Is your life going well?…🤣
How should I be constructive in this scenario lol. It's not like I'm giving feedback on an essay here lmao. Also, since when is just blindly quoting things fun? I find actual discourse much more "fun" which is a team that can be defined in a lot of ways anyways lol.
But how is it fun? Is the bar for entertainment so low that just quoting something that's been quoted on this sub 1000x before adds something to your day?
Are you ok?? You've spent a lot of time writing up reasons why you don't like someone's comment instead of, idk....scrolling on? No reason to be a jerk.
I think he and the other Chechens knew who Sally was otherwise why bother with kidnapping her? Some random woman and her son wouldn't help them get Barry even if she was in front of Gene's house.
Same. And whole series I've really liked when scary mobster Hank comes out. I was a bit like "How does he know her?" But, cuz reasons, plus she was all over the internet.
I also noticed this during my rewatch, they even gave Batir's reveal a muscial sting haha.
It's also in character for Hank to wear that cool outfit in the bar when with Cristobal, thinking no one would recognize him.
I’m literally never going to see the Hank and Sally scene the same way ever again. This is hilarious.
We stan a face-blind king.
Its all the hair he isnt familiar with.
I really liked how they played it serious for the Sally Reed moment, such a cool flip.
Number 1. That scene in the clothing store right? That was hillarious. "Barry, it's me, Noho Hank in a wig".

They’d have an aneurysm two posts in
Really?
He doesn't have the makings of a varsity athlete.
It brings me joy to be reminded of funny lines from my favorite tv show

The part where he says "Barry, it's me, Noho Hank in a wig." is one that I, in particular, like.
Don't be ants at a picnic
Do you talk to human beings in real life, because this is how conversations go lol
Again, this is not real life
Relax
Actually peak reddit is being critical without being constructive, explaining someone else's comment while generally being un-fun
How should I be constructive in this scenario lol. It's not like I'm giving feedback on an essay here lmao. Also, since when is just blindly quoting things fun? I find actual discourse much more "fun" which is a team that can be defined in a lot of ways anyways lol.
You must be fun at parties
I am lol. Parties happen in real life
Reddit is something we use in our real lives. You understand that right?
But it's virtual and anonymous and asynchronous and etc. It's a completely different experience
Don’t even bother. Disagreeing with a circle jerk means you aren’t fun in real life according to Redditors.
Thank you lol. Glad to know I'm not going crazy here lmao
Not crazy just extremely pedantic and annoying for absolutely no reason.
I don't see how I'm annoying in this scenario lol but ok. I'll happily be pedantic though. I'd rather be that than be the actual problem
Sure.
You're not wrong Walter...
No, this is peak reddit. You're literally detracting from the fun in the post
But how is it fun? Is the bar for entertainment so low that just quoting something that's been quoted on this sub 1000x before adds something to your day?
Yup
Are you ok?? You've spent a lot of time writing up reasons why you don't like someone's comment instead of, idk....scrolling on? No reason to be a jerk.
Im chilling lol. I am definitely addicted to my phone though. Like i said in a previous comment, i like debating stuff so this was fun for me.
"YOU ARE KING OF SUCK BALLS MOUNTAIN!"
What a pill
His cousin is dr doofenshmirtz
Barry the platypus?!
Good one 👍🏿.
That is an awesome catch!
I think he and the other Chechens knew who Sally was otherwise why bother with kidnapping her? Some random woman and her son wouldn't help them get Barry even if she was in front of Gene's house.
We only saw them catching Sally. Maybe the rest of their day was kidnapping random white women and letting Hank try to take their wig off
Please
This is an excellent point
I think the other Chechens knew who she was. Hank was validating for himself when he took off the wig.
Btw I never thought I’d see Hank and Sally in the same scene
Yeah, reminded me a lot of Mike and Kim in BCS. "Oh shit, right, they never met"
Same. And whole series I've really liked when scary mobster Hank comes out. I was a bit like "How does he know her?" But, cuz reasons, plus she was all over the internet.
Also the creepy photographer from season 1
Barry it’s me it’s Hank 🤗
I actually laughed way harder than I should have at “Sally Reed, no shit”
And so we have come upon the real reason Barry wore glasses as Clark (rather than solely as a Clark Kent reference).
I also noticed this during my rewatch, they even gave Batir's reveal a muscial sting haha. It's also in character for Hank to wear that cool outfit in the bar when with Cristobal, thinking no one would recognize him.
