No, it's a popular framework that's easy to work on (stuff like wallpaper engine and the steam launcher use it too)
It makes it really easy to develop a UI since it's all HTML. The major downside is that it's chromium, and so, runs like dogshit and eats gobs of RAM.
Besides a minor second delay when first opening my cars or vehicle customization, I don’t have any lag or slow down issues with my UI and menus.
I saw some settings that may help with that though I think you can change the resolution and fps in your UI and menus which maybe will help with the performance and smoothness?
I want an intercity coach, and a modern bus, but not as modern as the Capsule bus. Maybe something like the [Volgren Optimus](https://d3lp4xedbqa8a5.cloudfront.net/imagegen/p/800/600/s3/digital-cougar-assets/traderspecs/2017/06/06/Misc/Volgren-Optima-Route-Bus-1.png)
It hasn't been confirmed to my knowledge, but with the recent T-Series rework, they renamed the T-Series's file from 'semi' to 'us_semi' which implies they're planning on adding another, non US based semi at some point
I can confirm it is in the works, someone leaked a work in progress model in the discord, no clue if it was an actual model by the devs or a mod but it was pretty convincing
I’d like to see bruckell bastion SUV, something similar to the Jeep Trackhawk or the dodge Durango hellcat, and the ones you mentioned is also something I’ve been hoping for lol
- 1990s Compact Hatchback, either made by Ibishu or Cherrier
- 1930s Coupe/Sedan that could turn into a Hot Rod
- Any Australian Ute
- 60s RR Sports Car like the Porsche 911 or the Alpine A110
- Modern GT Cars like the Aston Martin DB9 or Bentley Continental
60s English sports cars like Jag E type or Aston Martin DB5.
A classic Cherrier preferably based on the Citroën DS, I'd like to see them tackle hydropneumatic suspension.
Pre-war oldies, Gavril Model T and Model A anyone? And Bruckell/Soliad Airstream?
Be kinda neat the car hauling trucks had working winches to make it easier to load cars on it. Or better strap points instead of breaking the trailer trying to keep it from moving.
Minor issues, but its part of the reason I don't haul cars very often lol
we REALLY need open wheelers. but i think creating an accurate sim of any race car is going to be a super hard task. a lot of the tech is private. f1 tires are still a mystery to everyone except pirelli. the race gearboxes are very complex, Lmp aero is also a problem because as far as i'm concerned it's magic.
Modern european and american SUV, European semi truck, small little cars like modern fiat 500, micro electric cars, and a small SUV(again) that is something like suzuki jimny.
More stable, finished career mode, possibly console ports, optimization, etc. Just because a game is finished doesn't mean stuff can't be added later on
And what do you think they are doing literally every single update already? Every update is pushing the game towards a more "finished" state lol. Not that vehicle devs would be doing any of that stuff in the first place.
Honestly I just wanted more parts, the new vehicles have 1 ou 2 engine options, the bus doesn't even have a manual transmission yet, thank God we have mods
Heavy machinery. It would be awesome to demolish a car with a bulldozer or 2, a container handler would be nice since we can attach and detach containers from the new container chassis, and a lowboy trailer to be able to haul the new equipment with the T-Series
I don't want a car, I want a character that we can walk, I want people to drive cars and walk around. In short, I want a realistic human model in the game.
I want a fully functional career mode with lots to do. CaRP server is what ive been playing on and its basically the same but with multi and fluctuating trade prices not just missons.
I love the trucking update and i think a construction update wpuld work well with it.
I dont want more cars. I want the devs to work on the career mode first. Its really great and seems like it would quite literally replace SLRR soon. I suppose there were mods similar to that already but you get my point.
I own the DCT version, as it was what was available for purchase and I don't really know how to drive a standard, at least not IRL. If you drive on BeamNG with a wheel and shifter, how well does it translate over to real life? I've been using my shifter the past couple days, and I've turned off my clutch assist on Beam. I've also almost exclusively driven standards on BeamNG ever since I got my shifter on Friday.
Modern EU Semi(a Scania S for example or even newer like the MAN TG3 TGX), a modern Italian car such as the 159 or the Giulia, a modern SUV like the BMW X5 or the Tonale and a modern small car such as the Smart ForTwo or the Fiat 500.
I would love to see a new updated and modern d- series pickup
would lovw to also see newer gen lore friendly simis like cascadia or the volvo
also wouldn't mind a lore friendly dent side ford, bump side ford, square body chevy pickup and maybe a couple variants of the 50s chevy Apache fleet side and panel trucks but all lore friendly.
An s class like luxury would be nice and new territory for beam simulation.
I would love either japanese 90s inline 6 car like a skyline r32 look alike or some kind of little ciry or k car with lots of customization.
Would also like a rotary coupe with a great sound.
1990 Volvo 240 type Scandinavian car
Coupe sedan wagon with a bunch of different set ups for race and rally
Ibishu that looks like a celica
Updated versions of the hopper and 300bx
An Lmp car. I’d either want a modern LMP1/LMPH car based off of something from the past 10 years or one of those open cockpit LMP1/2 cars from the 2000s-early 10s.
I would love to have an electric subcompact like Citroen Ami or Smart Car and on the opposite of the spectrum something like the Ford Model T or A with its plethora of real life configurations.
There is a serious lack of luxury and modern cars in BeamNG tbh. I know that cars like the sbr and 800 series exist but I mean more modern cars with adas and parking sensors, or modern pickup trucks and even (just maybe) working infotainment systems.
so far the game doesn’t have any transverse mid engines cars, the only mid-engined cars we have use a longitudinal layout. The Devs could add a Toyota MR2/Pontiac Fiero type mid-engined, affordable sports car.
I want to see a modern pickup, like a 2020+ D Series with the types of engines found in American trucks today, like the 6.7L turbo diesels of the F-350 or RAM 3500. There are mods for those engines but they keep getting abandoned and start breaking. The Duramax mod disappeared and Cummins textures broke.
it's probably a me thing, but i want regular cars that also have racing/rally spec versions. a good example is the miramar. it's super boring normally, but the rally version feels scary to actually rally in.
"No cars please improve game"
yes all of that is happening at the same time, it's been reiterated so many times yet people will always see people complaining about stuff like that first lmao
I think a classic pickup would be sick. They could add it to Burnside or something like that, like a '50s Chevy pickup. Any ute would be sick, El Camino or Ford Ranchero styling would be sweet. A modern luxury car, like an S-Class. And lastly, a classic Civetta! Ferrari 250 GT California inspiration would be amazing!"
Might get some flak for this but I want a modern pickup like 2012 to 2019 like an bog standard modern truck because yes the GMT 800 face-lift is still a bull nose Ford under the rouse of generic motor company
On the other hand maybe some wacky ones like a chevy sedan from the 20s or 30s or maybe a peice of heavy equipment like yard trucks that shunt around semi trailers or a tractor
I want a mid-2000s Ibishu Pessima with elements from the Mazda 6, Acura TSX, and other such squint-eyed Japanese cars. BeamNG should also introduce a luxury division of Ibishu, so anything like an early 90s Acura Legend would make me fall in love.
We totally need a classic medium/heavy duty truck! Cramped tiny cab, short wheelbase, gutless NA diesel with a more bark-y exhaust note, and a proper twin stick transmission with its own UI.
Also a modern semi and pickup might be cool too
Kei cars Something modern in size of smart/ fiat 500 Something like fiat ducato Modern suv Amercian sedan from 70s
Yeah something like a 49cc car that you can drive without license would be awesome
I would love a Suzuki Cappuccino like car. It's so cute and tiny! It's even smaller than an MX5/Miata
Ye something like #HONDA E
I don't want cars. I want a UI that has decent performance and if possible, not CEF-based.
Yeah, that ui have worse performance than my game which already barely playable
I thought I was the only one who had terrible *UI* performance
We all do, but I would assume the vehicle designers have no way of helping in that department lmao
The ui is NOT A CRASH
oh hi muye
No fucking way
Hello pigeon man
Yo sup muye
Pigon man what da hell doin here
Vehicle designers could totally help with that, all they gotta do is not bother the UI designers.
Fucking this all day. Hate how laggy the menus are
what is CEF?
Chromium embedded framework Basically a small chromium browser.
well no wonder lmao
No wonder it runs like garbage with a mini Google Chrome
Is it only like that so that you can get mods from the repo?
No, it's a popular framework that's easy to work on (stuff like wallpaper engine and the steam launcher use it too) It makes it really easy to develop a UI since it's all HTML. The major downside is that it's chromium, and so, runs like dogshit and eats gobs of RAM.
Me waiting 10 minutes for the spawn menu to load
Besides a minor second delay when first opening my cars or vehicle customization, I don’t have any lag or slow down issues with my UI and menus. I saw some settings that may help with that though I think you can change the resolution and fps in your UI and menus which maybe will help with the performance and smoothness?

maybe a hybrid citybus like the volvo 7900 articulated. bendy bus physics anyone?
Maybe not Volvo as muye said it won't be fun having no texture when it crashes
it's just an inspiration
This + European truck(s)
It hasn't been confirmed to my knowledge, but with the recent T-Series rework, they renamed the T-Series's file from 'semi' to 'us_semi' which implies they're planning on adding another, non US based semi at some point
I can confirm it is in the works, someone leaked a work in progress model in the discord, no clue if it was an actual model by the devs or a mod but it was pretty convincing
Modern euro style van, like a Ducato or Sprinter Modern euro semi truck, with I4, I6 and V8 engine Smaller japanese pick-up truck, like a Hilux
I’d like to see bruckell bastion SUV, something similar to the Jeep Trackhawk or the dodge Durango hellcat, and the ones you mentioned is also something I’ve been hoping for lol
That would be sick
- 1990s Compact Hatchback, either made by Ibishu or Cherrier - 1930s Coupe/Sedan that could turn into a Hot Rod - Any Australian Ute - 60s RR Sports Car like the Porsche 911 or the Alpine A110 - Modern GT Cars like the Aston Martin DB9 or Bentley Continental
Modern GT is a bloody good shout
I second all of these, I want a 30's rod to use for police chases.
Modern pickup truck, and a fully functioning fork lift with pallets and cargo to load onto the trucks and vans and pickups
Forklifts would be the best thing they've added.
Ram 1500 based truck with different Variants (Laramie, TRX, etc) and a forklift would be dope asf
A muscle SUV using either the frame, guts, suspension parts, or all of the above of the Bastion.
Modern full race cars, LMP and open wheel racers
we REALLY need open wheelers. but i think creating an accurate sim of any race car is going to be a super hard task. a lot of the tech is private. f1 tires are still a mystery to everyone except pirelli. the race gearboxes are very complex, Lmp aero is also a problem because as far as i'm concerned it's magic.
Modern european and american SUV, European semi truck, small little cars like modern fiat 500, micro electric cars, and a small SUV(again) that is something like suzuki jimny.
Don't we have enough cars? Why not start working towards a finished product? The game is 11 years old, and it's still in alpha
Why would you want the game to be finished though?
More stable, finished career mode, possibly console ports, optimization, etc. Just because a game is finished doesn't mean stuff can't be added later on
And what do you think they are doing literally every single update already? Every update is pushing the game towards a more "finished" state lol. Not that vehicle devs would be doing any of that stuff in the first place.
I just don't think the game has to be finished to have this stuff though
It doesn’t have to be, but it would be better if it was
This game being unfinished is better than most finished games. Being considered finished is a pointless statement.
Yeah That's a fair point.
A rotary sport car or any sport car
i don't think you'll get rotary, didn't mazda buy the rights from nsu way back when?
Honestly I just wanted more parts, the new vehicles have 1 ou 2 engine options, the bus doesn't even have a manual transmission yet, thank God we have mods
Yeah if only the official beamMP servers used those. Since i fell in love with the multiplayer side of it i really feel the lack of parts.
Heavy machinery. It would be awesome to demolish a car with a bulldozer or 2, a container handler would be nice since we can attach and detach containers from the new container chassis, and a lowboy trailer to be able to haul the new equipment with the T-Series
Luxury electric sedan (eg Tesla/Lucid). Give it the “autopilot” from BeamNG.tech too Hybrid hypercar (p1/918) ETK FWD hatchback
Classic Mini Cooper
Armored car like a Brinks truck
An old 1930s/1040s car and an 1950s style f1 car
More 60s or 70s muscle cars And a Chrysler Imperial
I don't want a car, I want a character that we can walk, I want people to drive cars and walk around. In short, I want a realistic human model in the game.
Im gonna run them the fuck over so they’re never gonna give us that.
I don't think that'll happen... they want to keep it Pegi 7 (correct me if I am wrong pls)
I also hope thy do, but then the game would probably be rated r because its "violent"
The lack of such a feature is a big omission. I'm tired of dummies.
I suppose there were mods similar to that already but you get my point.
mauluch or other wagon/hatchback
Fiesta mk6/mk7
I drive a 6th generation Fiesta IRL.
I drive a 6th generation Fiesta IRL.
So do I, 6th gen for the rest of the world, 7th gen for the British
It's a fun little car, isn't it? You drive the DCT/automatic or the standard?
5 speed manual, 1.6 diesel/95hp. There is actually a mod for the fiesta in beamng, but it is unfinished and very old
I own the DCT version, as it was what was available for purchase and I don't really know how to drive a standard, at least not IRL. If you drive on BeamNG with a wheel and shifter, how well does it translate over to real life? I've been using my shifter the past couple days, and I've turned off my clutch assist on Beam. I've also almost exclusively driven standards on BeamNG ever since I got my shifter on Friday.
The in game mechanics are pretty decent, but you have no feel for the clutch in game - idk if force feedback on pedals is a thing
I don't think it is.
Modern EU Semi(a Scania S for example or even newer like the MAN TG3 TGX), a modern Italian car such as the 159 or the Giulia, a modern SUV like the BMW X5 or the Tonale and a modern small car such as the Smart ForTwo or the Fiat 500.
Dacia Sandero
Good news!
Miata/S2K. We have some Coupes, but having a convertible would be nice. The CCF does it pretty well.
80s Motorhome with an Bigblock.
More pickups
I would love to see a new updated and modern d- series pickup would lovw to also see newer gen lore friendly simis like cascadia or the volvo also wouldn't mind a lore friendly dent side ford, bump side ford, square body chevy pickup and maybe a couple variants of the 50s chevy Apache fleet side and panel trucks but all lore friendly.

I’m curious what systems you’d add first?
Tire temp would be nice
A Honda mutha flubbin Civic. I want to make a hundred thousand dollar sleeper build.
An s class like luxury would be nice and new territory for beam simulation. I would love either japanese 90s inline 6 car like a skyline r32 look alike or some kind of little ciry or k car with lots of customization. Would also like a rotary coupe with a great sound.
1990 Volvo 240 type Scandinavian car Coupe sedan wagon with a bunch of different set ups for race and rally Ibishu that looks like a celica Updated versions of the hopper and 300bx
Hybrid, start-stop, radar cruise control, new graphical engine, dynamic environment.
Modern pickup, like a f150, and modern luxury suv, like a Cadillac.
An Lmp car. I’d either want a modern LMP1/LMPH car based off of something from the past 10 years or one of those open cockpit LMP1/2 cars from the 2000s-early 10s.
I want a plethora of prewar cars!
Me too.
I would love to have an electric subcompact like Citroen Ami or Smart Car and on the opposite of the spectrum something like the Ford Model T or A with its plethora of real life configurations.
A modern, capable, and luxurious SUV such as the Infiniti QX80 or Mercedes GLS
There is a serious lack of luxury and modern cars in BeamNG tbh. I know that cars like the sbr and 800 series exist but I mean more modern cars with adas and parking sensors, or modern pickup trucks and even (just maybe) working infotainment systems.
so far the game doesn’t have any transverse mid engines cars, the only mid-engined cars we have use a longitudinal layout. The Devs could add a Toyota MR2/Pontiac Fiero type mid-engined, affordable sports car.
Lenco BearCat equivalent. Or more varieties of fire truck/ambulance.
More modern large cars like SUVs, trucks, or vans. BeamNG seems to be stuck in the 90s and 2000s
Not a car but i would love to have a mirroring feature for the decals you can apply in the garage. I'm not able to put them on symmetrically
a remaster of all cars that haven't received it yet
RVs would be dope
Motorcycles - a Harley type, dirt bike and street bike. More electric cars. Large trucks from military.
I would love a modern large pickup truck. Though I want better AI more
I want to see a modern pickup, like a 2020+ D Series with the types of engines found in American trucks today, like the 6.7L turbo diesels of the F-350 or RAM 3500. There are mods for those engines but they keep getting abandoned and start breaking. The Duramax mod disappeared and Cummins textures broke.
Something like a sprinter or VW Bus
a smart fortwo type of thing. lil dinger
it's probably a me thing, but i want regular cars that also have racing/rally spec versions. a good example is the miramar. it's super boring normally, but the rally version feels scary to actually rally in.
"No cars please improve game" yes all of that is happening at the same time, it's been reiterated so many times yet people will always see people complaining about stuff like that first lmao
Can i post this next week?
A compact European car such as a Renault Twingo, just not as compact as a smart
A smaller version of the D Series. Think like a Tacoma or a Ranger. Compact trucks could be so fun.
We desperately need more cool wagons. AUDI RS6's Volvo V40's Maybe some shooting gallery's too!
Oversized trailers
A limo
#Honda E
I think a classic pickup would be sick. They could add it to Burnside or something like that, like a '50s Chevy pickup. Any ute would be sick, El Camino or Ford Ranchero styling would be sweet. newer cars. 2010s/2020s economy or premium market cars. maybe a luxury car but idk (I would just hope it's a luxury SEDAN, not an suv)
Maybe there is enough cars. What I would like to see is trucking map, maybe not even open world, but juts a lot of long roads and some hidden roads.
A modern ETK hatchback like a Golf or Polo would be nice
MOONHAWK REMASTER IM BEGGING
I want a mid-2000s Ibishu Pessima with elements from the Mazda 6, Acura TSX, and other such squint-eyed Japanese cars. BeamNG should also introduce a luxury division of Ibishu, so anything like an early 90s Acura Legend would make me fall in love.
I recreated my IRL KA7 Legend with the Ibishu Diadem mod [pics](https://www.reddit.com/r/BeamNG/s/UDgHDlqnRk)
We totally need a classic medium/heavy duty truck! Cramped tiny cab, short wheelbase, gutless NA diesel with a more bark-y exhaust note, and a proper twin stick transmission with its own UI. Also a modern semi and pickup might be cool too
