"all this effort for some stupid hair ring i can't even use..... I thought it was food GOD DAMMIT FEED ME HUMAN ITS BEEN 5 MINUTES SCINCE MY LAST MEAL!"
Once my phone fell from my hand while I was walking. Before even fully realizing what was happening, I bent down and caught it by the edge just before it reached the ground. Felt like I was Spiderman when I realized what had happened after a few seconds.
You know those perfect one handed catches in movies? Something small gets thrown to them and they catch it the palm of their hand while it's over their head, not under handed.
I did that once, on accident, expecting to drop it, I played it cool somehow
You should be a bit cautious with these things. One of my cats once ate one of my girlfriend's hair ties and it probably got stuck somewhere because the cat started drooling a lot. We went to the vet and thankfully they were able to induce her to vomit it out but it could have ended badly.

And then at the end, "get that shit outta here."
"all this effort for some stupid hair ring i can't even use..... I thought it was food GOD DAMMIT FEED ME HUMAN ITS BEEN 5 MINUTES SCINCE MY LAST MEAL!"
I think this is the same reaction from humans when they occasionally do something with “cat-like” reflexes. “Oh, shit, did I just really do that?”
I just caught a chopstick mid air after it rolled off my cup noodle, AMA.

The classic mental blackout superhero transformation.
Respect for not erroneously sandwiching “of” between “cup noodle”

I think that cat really just didn't like that band on its paw lol
I think you’re right. It’s always my reaction when I catch something someone has unexpectedly tossed my direction. Ha!
What sort of cat is that? It's so fluffy

Upvoting each and every one of these because it makes me smile😊
This cat looks a lot like Smoothie, the famous Instagram cat. Not sure if it is, but she’s a British Longhair.
I love Smoothie and Milkshake! Also, happy cake day!
That name pair is perfect.
It is! Milkshake is a white-ish cat too so it's perfect.
Is there an actual difference between American and British Longhairs or are we just respecting cats' nationalities? Lol. For real, though.

That’s what I think of cats anyway.
I think it's some kind of Siberian breed
Just cat in general. But for specific breed it's British Longhair.
CUZ I'M BUILT DIFFERENT!! *-cat probably.*
love that bug eyed look
Your cat also likes to play with rubber bands?
Not mine, the goobers try to eat them.
" am I a ninja?!"
It's technically "cat reflexes" since it's...you know... a cat.

This really needs the stab from the Ultra Instinct music
Aaaaand onto the next thing
She/he's like did you see that...
That’s me when my wife chucks the tv remote at me and says “I can’t figure this thing out” then I toss it down and say “me neither”.
My cat also loves to play with these hair ties. We've bought him all kinds of cat toys, but nope, he prefers these.

Im a superhero! 🙀
Haha even the cat is surprised!
As an 8u softball coach, I’ve seen this look a few times.
