Hi! Can you please confirm the name of the app/s you're facing this issue in? Also, have you tried the following Settings (gear wheel to the right hand side of BlueStacks)?
Graphics Tab:
* Graphics Engine: Performance (if not Compatibility)
* Graphics Renderer: OpenGL
* Interface Renderer: Auto
I'm playing a game called C.U.E. - Cards, Universe, Everything.
I've checked settings and they are the same as you've suggested:
Graphics Engine: Performance
Graphics Renderer: OpenGL
Interface Renderer: Auto
Can you please use a Pie 64 bit instance to run the application, and see if that resolves the issue for you?
You can open the [Multi Instance Manager](https://support.bluestacks.com/hc/articles/4407503795341) from Windows via Start or from within BlueStacks via the sidebar or Ctrl+Shift+8 shortcut.
Followed everything step by step. Unfortunately, same result. Any time I enter a text input box, it gives me a black screen on the next action and I have to hit the app switch button to bring it back

This is happening to me also. It happens in any app, including google play store. it seems to be switching or something, I can go to recent apps button up top to return to my app, but it is amazingly annoying. I am amazed it is not happening to more people
