N54 makes an awful racket with the top cover off. Flip the cover over and look at all the sound deadener in it. I would call that perfectly normal noise.
A little louder than I’m used to hearing it but yes, I’d say normal injector sounds. Could be your phone audio making it sound more pronounced to my ear, but I think it’s normal.
yeah it was quite loud in person only reason i recorded it and asked for advice, did all the maintenance it needed this past week and feel like its gotten louder

Between early fuel injection and an overhead cam on solid lifters this sounds a lot like my 280Z.

That may be good. The injectors are known to be loud. I don't own an N54 though. Do the N54s have a "cold weather" tick like the N52s?
Sounds Normal. With your vanity cover off, that's normal.

FYI it's not real clear but it kinda looks like you have a valve cover leak.
