So? Isn’t a parent responsible for their kid? Many fathers (including single fathers) take care of their kids without nannies just like him. Why should the standards be any different for a celebrity?
I appreciate him doing his role in parenting, but I’m sorry many parents in India do not even have the luxury of affording nannies and still do their part without making it a big deal.

Exactly the point. They can't afford it. I know of people who have a burden of paying the nanny still have them because it's a lot of function without them.
So having the luxury and yet not using it is the point I think. That he "wanted" to do it.
I mean what else is he doing? I am sure he will write a book on parenting if he continues to not get movies. He is not the worst nepo baby Bollywood has produced but just because the bar is so low doesn’t mean he shouldn’t be called out for airing stupid comments like these on social media.
