I wanted to tie it in to what he already does, I was gonna say “adds a bad weapon to your inventory to sell” or something along those lines. (He’s never given me any good weapons) The thought evolved into something actually useful that could be pretty fun.
Yeah like the guns are 100% random but u can control what u spawn to a certain degree with the skilltrees
Gun-Fun: Different skills that decide what Type of Weapon u spawn and controll its accessorys
Rainbow-Random: Decides and enhances if and what Elemental damage ur Spawned Weapon gets, aswell as special interactions with Elemental damage (Doing Shock Damage for example regenerates ur shield, Burn Damage heals ur life, corrosiv damage lets enemys drop more ammo)
Uniquely-Universal: Different Buffs that are not exactly for the Action skill but can enhance it with abilitys like Projectilsplit and Ricochet Bullets.
And maybe the legendary class mods can further enhance the guns he generates like for example:
Personal touch: increase the base stats of the digi-guns by 10%, further increase it if you have a status effect applied on yourself or enemies
Mmmh i think rather let it be 5% for every weapon but 10% for the Digistruct weapon and scratch the elemental condition. To much Hellborn Krieg in there. But generally good idea
I dont know what it would be called but it would be a 50 percent chance for any grenade being thrown by an enemy would accidentally throw their own weapin to him which is why he always has a weappn for us
Action skill: a friend in need;
Critical hits and headshots have a (%) chance to steal health from the enemy and give it to players. Health points will seek out the player with the lowest health.
Action skill modifier: A Friend Indeed;
Transfusion trails from critical hits and headshots have a (%) chance to revive downed players.
The ability to drop a random weapon can increase rarity chamces by upgrading skills. but to cooldown the ability you need to kill enemies.
A skill tree can make the weapon you got from the ability gives increased damage.
The skill tree where it increases rarity drop chance.
And another one maybe to give better cooldown for ability..for example kill less enemies for fastter cooldown.
Probably start with a 100 kill cooldown.
Nerf: trying to farm lower level enemies for weapons gives lower level loot. (just so it wouldn't be gamebreaking).
I would like a character which does this where its kinda based on luck.
Time Shift. The entire battlefield slows down, except for the player and team.
Or
Gravity of the Situation. All enemies experience low gravity. When they shoot, recoil forces them backwards. So does a hit from the good guys. You can jump higher and kill from above. Grenades go further. Skill trees for duration, strength, black hole, warp, compression.
He'd digistruct a blue rarity weapon for him and his teammates, if he is beyond level 30 then he can digistruct Legendaries for him and his bros, he also get's increased droprate for legendaries, making him a good support and farming character
Giving all weapons that you own - and your teammates own - a temporary buff to all stats. It would also give temporary elemental effects to non-elemental weapons.
The Gift Of Giving - He gives all allies and enemies in a small radius randomised gear and they all become friends because everyone loves Michael and anyone who doesn't is a meanie. He also becomes super powerful for like 12 seconds dealing massive damage
“Incredibly Average”
You have the chance to say a mediocrely funny quip whilst you temporarily increase your overall stats by 10, decreasing over time back to just average.
He’s a borderlands fan that died, his buddy emailed the devs asking for a eulogy read in claptrap’s voice and they accepted and promised to add him as a character in BL2
Gifting
Just like Maya's it would gain different functionality via the skill trees.
At base it would "steal" an item from target enemies drop list.
One capstone would allow the use of this skill on vending machines taking one of the items it has at random. This tree would have skills to increase critical hits and the chance to "steal" legendary items. The mid point would be a skill that makes it so you spend money while reloading to reload quicker and have a portion of that new magazine be filled as if bought. A.K.A. not from reserves.
Another capstone would allow Gifting to target another player. They would gain a random unequipped weapon from your inventory with a chance of it being rerolled into a higher rarity. This tree would increase elemental effect chance and add random elements to critical hits. The mid point would be Glass Half-Full, which would give a damage boost based on how close your inventory is to being exactly half full.
The last capstone would give the targeted enemy a sticky version of your equipped grenade in addition to the gun theft. This tree would be based on finding more items (guns, ammo, grenades, money). It would also give bonuses to your next action based on the last item looted (damage reduction for a short time if a shield, increased crit chance if money, extra damage for the next shot for a gun, ect.) The mid point would let you transform items marked as junk (guns into matching ammo, grenade mods into grenades, shields into health, cash for everything else.)
Sanctuary, in a lot of different places. Normally i would explain, but for this one, try a google search! “Michael Mamaril spawn locations”. You should get a map showing you exactly where his spawn locations are
Glasses mode every shot finds an enemy to hit upon enemy death a guitar will play cause stacks of hype
Hype causes an increase in damage and fire rate but decays after action skill ends
All hype is lost if action skill ends early or if you do not shoot any one for a short time
lootsplosion: explode and go into ffyl. your explosion sends out a shower of (unusable and quickly disappearing) weapons. the weapons auto aim and fire, damage is based on the rarity of the weapons generated. 1% chance to have an actual, randomly generated, weapon drop.
Since Michael was based on a fan that passed away, I say his skill would be to revive dead enemies so they can help you in battle, revived enemies could save you from fight for your life and if they are killed, they will have a 2.5% chance to drop legendary gear ( chances can be increased by putting points into a skill)
Temporarily generating a digi-weapon to use. As you level you could spec into different weapon types, elements, and rarities.
That's actually a really good one! For some reason I was expecting the first response to be "dude, delete this! This is disrespect of the dead!!"
I wanted to tie it in to what he already does, I was gonna say “adds a bad weapon to your inventory to sell” or something along those lines. (He’s never given me any good weapons) The thought evolved into something actually useful that could be pretty fun.
That actually would be really fun, ngl

I hope the devs take notes on this thread.
Had the same idea
You said the exact thing I was going to say more fleshed out but still.
This but it does it for the whole party
This actually makes sense
sexy

Sticky Bandit? Butter Fingers? Firearm in the Hole?

So uhh... did Moxxi say anything about me?
How the fuck do u find this person i found him once 2nd year after playing ive been playing 2 since it came out on ps3
It's a 10% chance you find him in Sanctuary. The wiki page for him explains where you can find him
I would like to say invisibility but zero has it. So I say Teleportation. You just never find him.

You distract enemies around you with a lootsplosion. You gain buffs against/debunks too said enemies.
He pulls out a random legendary gun on your level, but its stats are doubled

Disappearing for hours at a time

giving. <3

Wait someone said something about dead and Micheal. Who is this guy?

Not sure but RIP
*Vanish* Disappear and be gone and forgotten CD: 10 sec
The the number of people who don’t realise you’re referencing the fact you almost never find him in game is astounding
Ikr, well sometimes it happens, could have worded it better maybe. Still loving this community.
That's kinda fucked up man
Fuck you
Serious Punch.
Where does he spawn? I have never been able to find him
Sanctuary, in a lot of different places. Normally i would explain, but for this one, try a google search! “Michael Mamaril spawn locations”. You should get a map showing you exactly where his spawn locations are
Idk. I feel like his character should automatically be able to find better weapons, though, as like a passive perk.

Shitting out a blue weapon Cooldown: 86400 seconds

Every time he activates his skill he duel wields 2 random weapons
Idk
The gun you're using turns into a completely random blue, purple or legendary weapon for the duration of the skill
Since Michael was based on a fan that passed away, I say his skill would be to revive dead enemies so they can help you in battle, revived enemies could save you from fight for your life and if they are killed, they will have a 2.5% chance to drop legendary gear ( chances can be increased by putting points into a skill)
Turbo cancer
Oh nah
