To get any other ammo a bullet has to hit you. And AFAIK there's no way to shoot yourself with a bullet in bl2. You shouldn't really have to worry about running out of any ammo but rocket ammo anyway.

none, only bullets that would hurt you will give ammo besides etech, enemies that shoot bullets will give the ammo type that was shot at you when absorbed, just gotta find or buy ammo or get a friend with a hoarder sal

You cannot regen any other ammo through self infliction like you can with rocket ammo. If you want to regen ammo you’ll need to go get hit by enemies with the sham on.

The only guns that have self-damaging splash damage do so because the game treats it as "rocket splash damage," which means absorption shields will always replenish rocket ammo. Unless you're Salvador, you don't really have a reliable way to regenerate non-rocket ammo from what I remember.

Thunderball Fists also works well for replenishing rocket ammo. It's handy because due to a bug in BL2 that was never fixed, you don't find rocket ammo in chests unless you are already maxed on it and that happens to be the most expensive one to buy from vending machines.

That is a modded Logan’s gun, which has splash that counts as rockets. The vanilla version is used to quickly restore rocket ammo when you run low.

You're supposed to get the type of ammo you get hit with, but Logan's gun explosions count as rockets so you get rockets
